Hump Day!

Good Morning!

Mood: Relaxed! Excited! Proud! Wild Thanged!

Music listening to: Prerogative by Bobby Brown!

It's a Hump Day! Sup? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will up and on the go very soon. A big day for her here in the Old Pueblo. Any plans for today?

The coffee is very good this morning and I will enjoy a second cup during my (me) time out on the front porch.

The day has arrived and it is going to be a very busy day according to my To Do List. Yes, this evening is Elise's Book Signing and Reading and we are ready for it. After the Book Signing and Reading we are going to Cody's Beef and Bean for dinner with our venue hosts.

Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris. My first task is to get the Tacoma prepared for our camping trip that starts tomorrow. Wow, it is going to be a very busy day for us.

So I had better get to it post haste! Here is a bit about our trip to Laughlin with Sheila and Dottie. Enjoy!

On 12 April we began our journey to Laughlin. Dottie left her car here at our house and we took off making our way to Gilbert, AZ to pick up Sheila. We stopped at a truck stop to get some breakfast. After breakfast we picked up Sheila and we were on our way.

We enjoyed the drive to Laughlin and we were in no rush to get there. We arrived and we got checked in. After getting unpacked my shorty and I enjoyed a nice Jack and Coke before we hit the casino floor to see what they had to offer.

Laughlin is totally different than Vegas. Not as many people and it is laid back, but the drinks are free. WooHoo! We played the slots and we found the Keno Slots. Dottie was in seventh heaven and so were we. Lot's of dining venues to choose from and the portions were huge and falling off of the plate.

We saw a couple of movies while we were there and we attended the Blues and Jazz Festival on the river. We also ventured out to a casino not to far away to see what it was like as well and we were not disappointed. Cha Ching, Cha Ching! Yeah Mon'.

It was a very relaxing trip and we all needed it badly. Dottie is still the Queen of Keno. We would love to go back in the near future. It was a fantastic trip for all. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy!
