Buon Domenica! Happy Halloween!  How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Caramel Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at the "Egg Connection" along with a good breakfast. We will be joined this morning by our daughter Kim. It is a very nice morning here in Central Tucson.

Sister Jayne will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have my normal Domenica tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.

We are finishing up on new rocks today and I will post them as soon as I can. Here is our latest creation that was dropped in the hood. Enjoy!

30 OCT IN THE HOOD

Hey how about those Atlanta Braves? It is not looking good for my playmate in this World Series.

Yesterday was Chefs Day and it didn't disappoint. We prepared Deep Fried Tilapia with Fries. It was delicious let me tell you. We both were stuffed like pigs. We shared the meal with Sister Jayne. We got it all down with several Jack and Cokes.

This afternoon we are going to the "Berger Performing Arts Center" to see the "50th Anniversary Retro Spectacular".  Cabaret". This is going to be the hit of the year. We will be joined by my girlfriend (Shoo Shoo) and Edwina. After the show we will be dining at "Zayna Mediterranean" for dinner. We are looking forward to it.

Buon Sabato!  How are you doing? We started the day off caring for Chris at 5:30am.  Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Caribou Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a nice morning here in the "Old Pueblo".

Sister Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some "Boney" for me today. Next Saturday we will be in Chandler at "Boney's" concert. We are really looking forward to it.

Hey my Braves won again last night in the "World Series". WooHoo! Today is a long day of football starting with Michigan and Michigan State. It is going to be a good one for sure. Go State!

We enjoyed our Happy Hour last night at "La Parrilla Suiza. The margaritas were very good. the play at "Live Theater Workshop" titled "Dry Powder" was very good and the acting was fantastic.

Buon Venerdi!  TGIF!  How are you? I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Elise is way deep in her cave this morning and it looks like another rescue team will have to be sent in so she can start her day. Any plans for today?

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have to make a run over on the eastside. I also need to gas up the Tacoma and give it a wash as well. I asked Alexa to play some "Inspirational Music" for me today. Hopefully that will change my mood, eh?

My playmate and I are working on new rocks. We will be hitting up "La Parrilla" Suiza this evening for Happy Hour. Can you say margaritas. We will be at least two times. Ole! After Happy Hour we will make our way over to  the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the live play "Dry Powder" it should be a good one.

Yesterday was a (SNAFU). There were several issues with Sister Jayne's doctor appointment. The biggie is that two doctors did not agree on her treatment so it has been re-set for next week.

Yesterday my shorty and I went to see "Halloween Kills" and I loved it. My shorty said that it didn't have  a plot. We started off going to the "Loft" to see a movie but we couldn't get in because we didn't have our Covid vaccine cards with us. They were turning people away left and right. They should have informed the public that this was a requirement. We believe that someone brought Covid to the theater or one of the employees has it.

It is going to be a busy weekend for us and that is a good thing. Well, I had better go to see if my shorty has been rescued from her cave. Have a good weekend and I will chat at you later. Stay safe.

I am caring for Chris this morning. Sister Jayne has a doctors appointment this morning at 9:30am. She may have to take the day off after her appointment. Alexa is awake and she said that have to stop over on the eastside this morning. I asked her to play some "Funk Jazz" for me today.

My playmate and I are working on new rocks. Here is my latest. Enjoy! The Cortez location has been empty for the past few weeks. Hopefully it will return to it's glory days.

I will be completing and starting a new rock today. My shorty is working on a new rock as well. I will post the latest rock later today.

Tonight we will enjoy take-away from "Leo's". Can you say margarita? We will at least two times, smile!

I received a gift from my girlfriend (Nicolette) yesterday. Elise delivered it to me after her hair appointment. I still have it going on, eh? At least my girlfriends think so, smile! The candy she sent will make me sweeter than before, right girls?

Did your day go well? Mine was a mixed bag today, but I got through it. My "Down Home Blues" that was provided by Alexa helped a lot.

I added some white stones to the end of our driveway and I put in some new soil in a fenced boxed so we can plant some annuals. I have been busy today, eh?

I had to intervene today with the caregiver. I left her a list of her shortcomings that she needed to do much better at especially with her 26 years of expertise. She made the corrections today and we will see what happens next week.

My playmate prepared "French Toast" with sausages, eggs and plenty of coffee for dinner. It was all good. We watched "Shamless" on Netflix with Chris. I checked Chris's temp several times today and it is OK. He also some congestion and I will give him a decongestive this evening.

We still are working on new rocks. Here is my latest one. Enjoy!

The caregiver will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks to complete today. Chris the IRobot will be coming out of his cradle this morning to clean the main house carpet. I asked Alexa to play some "Down Home Blues" for me today. Maybe that will change my (cranky) mood.

My shorty and I are still working on our latest rocks. I will post them to the blog as soon as we are finished with them.

The day is over. How was yours? I got all that I needed to get done today and that made Alexa happy. She treated me to some "Fusion Jazz" to settle my soul. She knows with I need. Smile!

Well the caregiver returned today and she had  few problems that she shouldn't be having for having 26 years of experience. I hope that she does better tomorrow.

My playmate and I are still working on our new rocks. I hope to complete mine tomorrow. I prepared grill cheese sandwiches for dinner tonight and they were good. We downed them all.

We got some good news from Sheila a bit ago. She is back at home and the surgery went well. She and Dave are now waiting for the lab results.

Have a good night and sleep well so you can be ready for Taco Tuesday. 

I will have to keep an eye on Chris tonight. After the caregiver left he developed a fever of 99.9. It is a worry indeed.

The coffee is a good Pacific Rim Blend and a second cup will be downed later this morning. It is a nice morning here in Tucson. We have a drop in temps coming that will linger for a few days. Maybe we will get some of that "Cali" rain, eh?

Keep your fingers crossed that the caregiver will be here this morning to care for Chris if she has been released from quarantine. Chris will be receiving a massage from Rosemarie this morning and as usual he is looking forward to it.

Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks to take care of today to include a trip to Office Depot to pick up some printer ink. I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.

My playmate and I are just about finished with our latest rocks. I will pot them very soon.

This going to be a very busy for my shorty and I. We will be going out quite a bit to various venues for dinner and live plays. We will be joined by my girlfriend (Shoo Shoo) and Edwina.

This weekend will be Chefs Day. My Sous Chef and I will be preparing "Tilapia and Fries".

How are you doing so far on this Domenica? We enjoyed a good breakfast at the "Egg Connection" and they were packed today.

Elise is caring for Chris and soon he will be up in his chair and in the main house. I just completed my Domenica tasks. I still need to change Chris's linen. I also need to get some tree sap from the Pine tree out of Buttercups coat.

We will be working on rocks in a bit. My playmates team the Chiefs are not doing well against the Titans. We are switching back and forth between games. We are also watching Green Bay as well.

Speaking of games my shorty is going with Houston for the World Series and I will take Atlanta. We will decide soon on which restaurant the loser will have to pay for. Of course you already know who the victor will be, right?

How did your day go? It has been a different kind of day and I got thru it. I cared for Chris today, due to Sister Jayne needed to be off.

I had several tasks to complete and I got everything done. WooHoo! I even got the "Green Lady" washed today because she needed it badly. We drove her through a lot of dirt yesterday when we picked up a bucket of rocks for painting.

We watched a lot of football games today. I made a trip over to "Popeyes" to pick up some chicken and some red beans and rice for dinner. It was so good.

We watched "Shameless" on Netflix and Chris enjoyed it and so did we. I started a new rock today and my shorty is working on a new Covid puzzle and a new rock.

We had a very nice stay-cation at Varsity Suites and at Casino Del Sol. We got a lot of rest at Casino Del Sol. We were upgraded to the "Sky" level on the 10th floor and it was great and very quiet.  We got almost 9 hours of sleep on the 21st of October. The slots were kind to us on this stay-cation. Here are a few pictures of our stay-cation. We are looking forward to next one in Chandler, AZ at the "Wild Horse Pass Casino and Hotel and the Vee Quiva Hotel and Casino. While we are in Chandler we will attend the "Boney James" concert. We are really looking forward to that. Enjoy the pictures.

The coffee is a good Vermont Maple Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. A very nice morning here in the "Garden District".

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a couple of tasks to complete before we start our stay-cation. I asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz" for me today.

We are all packed and ready for our stay-cation at Varsity Suites and Casino Del Sol. Tonight we will be consuming my world famous Tuna Jalapeno Dip with Frito Scoops. We will be deep into our video fest as well. 'We will play for hours and hours. We will have a good supply of Jack and Coke on hand. Ya Mon".

We hope that we can make the slots sing out tomorrow. Cha Ching is a very good sound indeed! 

We will finish up our latest rocks today. We will be looking for a new place to buy rocks today as well.

My dinner last night was a very good pizza from Flores Market. I didn't care too much for the chunks of garlic cloves that I came across with each bite. So I had to have two Coronas and that did the trick don't you know? Smile!

It has been a very busy day for us around here today but we got through it.

The very large Pine Tree in our backyard got a good trimming today and it looks totally different.

Chris and I enjoyed another Horror Fest today. We saw the original "Candyman" this afternoon with Elise. Chris and I are now watching "Halloween H20" and we are loving it.

My playmate is at her book club this evening and she is going to bring me a pizza for my dinner. It will go good with that ice cold Corona in the fridge. I will start Chris's supplemental drip very soon.

I will pack up my suitcase tonight for our stay-cation here in Tucson. My world famous Tuna Jalapeno Dip has been made and it is in the fridge. I also downloaded two new games on our trip laptop for our video game fest that will take place tomorrow as well.

I am feeling a bit out of sorts today and I feel like something is just not right and it is bothering me big-time. I will keep my eyes and ears open for sure. When it comes to human nature it is always a puzzlement what people will do and don't do and the reasoning is mind-blowing to say the least.

While we are away we will be looking for another place to purchase rocks for painting. We hope your day went your way? Have a good night and get ready for 'Hump Day". I will chat at you later.

We are looking forward to our stay-cation that starts tomorrow at the Varsity Suites here in Tucson. I will be making my world famous Tuna Jalapeno Dip this evening for this stay. Of course we will enjoy Frito Scoops and a good amount of Jack and Coke! Ya Mon'. We will be playing video games for hours!

How did your day end? It has been a busy one around these parts.

I took over Chris's care after I returned from the "Green Lady's" appointment. Chris and Elise both enjoyed the massage they received from Rosemarie.

My playmate prepared homemade waffles for dinner with link sausages, eggs and coffee. It was all good let me tell you. We watched the final episode of "Offspring". It was a very good series. Now we are watching season 11 of "Shameless" on Netflix with Chris.

I am caring for Chris tonight. He was put to bed by Elise with the Hoyer. He is now watching TV and enjoying his supplemental drip. Tomorrow I will be caring for Chris all day due to the caregiver is quarantined due to exposure to Covid from one of her clients.

I am going to try to locate some river rocks tomorrow. I have put out a few posts in search of some. Well, I had better check on Chris. Sleep well tonight so you can be ready for Taco Tuesday.

 Hello!

How are you doing? Well, I just got back from the "Green Lady's" service appointment and she is just fine. She has this huge grin on her nameplate and she winked at me again on on the way home. I have to treat her right don't you know? Like I do for all of my girlfriends and they treat me so well in return. I am a very lucky guy!

Well, Elise has been caring for Chris while I was at the dealer, due to no caregiver today and she will be out for all week or longer. The agency called to say that one of her clients has Covid and the policy is that she cannot work. Hopefully this works itself out but if not we will be back to searching again.

Chris is relaxed and waiting on Rosemarie to get here for his massage and Elise will get one too! I will not be able to make it over to D&D Landscaping until tomorrow to pick up some rocks for painting.

I do know that I am starving big time right now. So I will dive into the fridge for leftovers. We hope that you are doing well? It is a sad day for me with the passing of Gen Colin Powell. I met and talked to him on my last tour of Germany. A remarkable man who will be missed by all who knew him.

Hey, we had a wonderful evening at Desert Diamond Casino in Green Valley. We were joined by my girlfriend (Shoo Shoo), Lori and Bert. We enjoyed a good dinner at the "Agave" at the Buffet. Good food and good libations.

After dinner we gave a tutorial on slot play to Lori, Bert, and Shoo. We played the penny slots. Shoo Shoo was having a good time and she won $45.00 with a pull of the handle. My playmate and I played slots for a little while and we had lots of fun and we made a little money in the short time that we were there. Good Times!

My shorty and I are going on a stay-cation here in Tucson this week. It starts on 20 Oct at the Varsity Suites. We will be playing video games and enjoying my world famous "Tuna Jalapeno Dip" with Scoop Fritos! On the 21st we will be staying at "Casino Del Sol". We will be using our perks for this visit. We will be hitting up the "Keno" slots for sure. We are looking forward to it.

How are you?  We are good here. I am about to get Chris up and into his chair. We are going to watch our "Wildcats" play football at 12:30pm.

Elise is out doing some grocery shopping and enjoying her daily yogurt fix.

We will be resting up until we head for Desert Diamond Casino. We hope that you are doing OK?  We saw the movie "Lamb" at the Loft yesterday and it was really good and way different. You are glued to the screen the whole time. Strange but good.

Buon Sabato!  How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good French Vanilla Blend. A second cup will be downed later this morning. A very nice morning here in the "Old Pueblo". 

We are caring for Chris until Sister Jayne gets here this evening. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete. I asked her to play some music to (win) by because we will be at Desert Diamond Casino this evening.

We are looking forward to dinner with my girlfriend (Shoo Shoo), we will be joined by Lori and Bert. Cha Ching! Please!

Buon Venerdi!  TGIF!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:30am caring for Chris. Elise is once again very deep in her cave this morning. I must to have been hallucinating this morning because I though I saw a few mountain goats at the entrance to her cave. Go figure, eh? It must to have been those two margaritas I had with dinner last night. I am sticking with that one. Ya Mon'. Any plans for today?

The coffee this morning is a Organic Medium Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. 

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some "Boney" for me today. I need a change of mood and attitude today.

We are working on new rocks and we still need to get more rocks because we are running very low. My playmate will be starting a new Covid puzzle very soon.

We are going to the "Loft" this afternoon to see the movie "Lamb". We saw the previews and it looked very interesting. 

Tomorrow we will be having dinner at "Desert Diamond Casino and Resort". We will be joined by my girlfriend Shoo Shoo, Bert and Lori. It should be a evening filled with tons of fun and hopefully a few Cha Chings. I know we haven't been to a casino in awhile, eh? My playmate and I will using some of our "Player" perks while we are there.
