Buongiorno! Buon Venerdi!  TGIF!  How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Sumatran Blend, and a second cup will be downed later this morning. It is a partly cloudy morning here in Tucson.

I am caring for Chris this morning up until 11:00am when Sister Jayne arrives. Alexa is awake and she said that it is going to be another busy day. I asked her to play some "Blues" for me today. I will be loading up my suitcase today and rechecking my packing for our cruise.

Hey, my playmate has started a new rock and it is going to be a good (keeper).

We went to the movies yesterday at the "Roadhouse" and we saw "Barbarian" and it was pretty good. We love a good Psycho movie.

We dined on take away from "Leo's" last night and it was good. So good that we are going to dine in at "Leo's with (Lois) for lunch. We haven't seen her in a few years.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good TGIF and I will chat at you later. My shorty and I will play "Wii" games this afternoon.  Chris will be visited by his doctor today as well.

The coffee is a good Colombian Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed at "Gus Balones" along with a good breakfast. It is a cloudy morning here in Tucson. We got some rain yesterday.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that today is going to be another busy one. I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.

My shorty is all packed for our cruise. I will start my packing today. We are waiting on our e-documents to arrive for the cruise.

Hey, Chefs Day was delicious. We enjoyed Fried Catfish Filets French Fries, and of course Jack was the libation of the day. It was all good. Have a look!

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a lot of tasks to get done today to include a trip over on the eastside. I asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz" for me today.

My playmate and I attended a book signing last night at the "Botanical Gardens". The author is our longtime friend "Sharon Kha". It was a major event, and the turnout was very good. Her book titled "Grit and Wisdom" it is an excellent book. Congrats Sharon a job well done.

Well, I had better check on Chris. I started an anti-bi this morning for Chris. He has some congestion and a cough, and we don't want it to turn into pneumonia.

Jackie the caregiver will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a stay-at-home day. I asked her to play some (Blues) for me today.

First off today Chris the iRobot will be coming out to clean the main house carpet. While he is out, I will be thinking about what to pack for our cruise.

Tomorrow is going to be "Chefs Day". If I get the time to shop that is. We will have "Catfish Filets" with French Fries. WooHoo!

How are you doing? We have wind, clouds and it looks like we might get some rain. How was your day?

It has been a pretty good one for the most part. Chris and Elise both got their massages. All was going well, up until I took over caring for Chris.

I gave him the once over like we always do to make sure that all is as it should be after the caregiver left. Well, today it was another (SNAFU). During my check I found that Chris's catheter was not on securely. So, I had to put him back to bed, underdress him, re-catheter him and I had to give him a bed-bath. The catheter was changed by the caregiver and once again she had a short-coming. While I had him in bed, I started a (laser) treatment as well. This always changes my mood, but today I am not feeling well, and it just made things worse. I am still not feeling well this evening.

I am caring for Chris tonight and Elise is in the main house watching to news. Chris is resting and watching TV.

My playmate prepared corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese and baby carrots for dinner. My appetite was not the best tonight.

Tomorrow is going to be another stay-at-home day. The water tech is coming out to change filters in the osmosis tank. They gave a window of 9am to 11am. I hate waiting around for windows. So that means I have to be here until Elise gets back.

You get a good night's sleep so you can be ready for Taco Tuesday. I will chat at you later.

Chris and Elise will be receiving a massage today from Rosemarie. Chris always looks forward to Rosemarie's visits.

My playmate and I are still discussing what to pack for our cruise to Canada and New England in October. We are looking forward to it.

Well, I had better check on Chris. I am going to give him a (Laser) treatment in a bit to aid in clearing up a skin issue that has developed.

Hello!

What is going on around your way? We had a very nice breakfast at the "Egg Connection".

My playmate is caring for Chris, and they are watching the "Chiefs" play football.

I am getting things set up for the upcoming week. I also did some yardwork behind Chris's house.

We will be watching "Football" for the most part of today.

I am going to start to a list of what to pack for our upcoming cruise to New England and Canada. It will start in the first week of October. We are really looking forward to this one.

Elise is caring for Chris today up until 5:00pm when Sister Jayne arrives. Alexa is awake and she said that I need to make a run over on the East Side this morning. I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.

I have started a new book and if time permits, I will get back to it today. We still need to acquire some more river rocks so we can get back to painting.

We will be watching Football on this Domenica. Of course, my shorty's favorite team the "Chiefs" are playing today. We also started a new series titled "Unbelievable" and it is pretty good.

I am caring for Chris this morning and Sister Jayne will be here at 11:00am. Alexa is awake, and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some "Boney" for me today.

We went to see the movie "Woman King" and it was fantastic. Great acting and very good message thorough out. A must see!

My playmate and I may play some "Wii" games this afternoon.  I will complete my second medical class on Dementia today. It is an elective. I will select another to start.

We need to get more rocks very soon so we can get back to painting again.

How are things going for you today? We are good here. The month of September is the busiest month for my playmate and me. We have a lot going on. 

I got all of my tasks taken care of today and that is always a good thing in my book.

Chris and I watched a horror movie this afternoon and we loved it. 

My playmate prepared breakfast for dinner. We enjoyed homemade pancakes, eggs, and sausages. We watched "Midsomer Murders" on a DVD with Chris. My shorty and I try to guess who the murderer is and most of the time we are incorrect. Smile!

I enrolled in Alison Medical Courses today. My first class is a continuation class on "Dementia". I started the class today.

Well, I am sure that my loyal blog followers are ready for the pictures from our camping trip in the mountains. We enjoyed our short get-away very much. We got plenty of rest and relaxation. We got plenty of exercise as well. We both slept pretty well. I did hear the rustling of woodland creatures during the night outside of the cabin. We saw several deer, and we saw a baby bear crossing the road on our way home. We enjoyed our outdoor meals and the firepit was very nice at night. We took a hike to the "Bathtub" the water was freezing. My shorty suggested that we (skinny-dip) in the "Bathtub" but there were way too many eyes around. Smile! Enjoy the pictures, they will give you an idea as to how much fun we had. Enjoy!

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is resting watching TV and downing his supplemental drip. I will give him some yogurt for dessert.

Get a good night's sleep so you can be ready for "Hump Day". Tomorrow is "Chefs Day". We will be tossing about pots and pans in the (cucina). The dinner will be "Chicken Gnocchi" with string beans. My Sous Chef will select a good libation to go along with the meal.
