Hello!
Hello!
How is it going? It is going well so far here in central Tucson.
I got all of my errands taken care of but it took a little more time than I had planned. Oh well it is a Monday! Right!
I am starting to get sore from yesterdays yard work. I trimmed the hedges but they are not really hedges. They are small trees. Our gardener from the U of A told us that. She also informs us when they need to be trimmed as well. She told us this time to leave the cuttings under the trees to hold moisture and that the cutting feed this type of tree. Who knew? Smile!
I tell you I need a beer or three about right now. Well, I had better get Chris in front of the TV. He is starting to get a little antsy. Spoiled guy.

It's a Monday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be up and on the move soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and I will have some yogurt for breakfast. I am going to hit the treadmill up a little later as well. It is a nice morning here in Tucson weather wise.
I have a few errands to take care of today to include getting a new passport photo so I can renew my passport. I also need to get the Fiat 500L Trekking washed to get all of the bugs off that appeared during our trip to Vegas. Other than that I have no plans for today.
I will give more about our trip to Vegas as soon as I can. Hey, I had to buy a new phone while we were in Vegas due to the one I had died. So now I have a Samsung Galaxy S6.
We had a grand evening last night at "Zemams". We were joined by Paula, Marty, Shoo, Stu, and a very nice new member. The food was very good and we downed 3 bottles of vino. A great evening! Thanks guys!
Well, I had better get to it. Have a wonderful Monday and be careful.

The coffee is good and doing its job. It is a bit windy this morning here in the Old Pueblo. We are all packed and I will load up the Fiat 500L Trekking soon. We are looking forward to breakfast this morning at the "Cracker Barrel".

Was your day a good one? It has been a good one here but it is not over yet but almost.
My playmate is all packed. I have my things sorted and ready to be put in my suitcase. I will close it up before I hit the sheets.
We will be leaving at 8:00am making our way to Vegas. We will stop to have breakfast at the "Cracker Barrel". We will be joined by Bobby. We are going to use a gift card given to us for Christmas by my sister Tiger and her hubby Ray in Tennessee.

Good Night!
Hey, how was your day? It has been a very relaxing one for a Monday. Chris and I looked at a lot of TV today and I worked on my Keno skills for Vegas.
Elise is happy she and her partner did well at bridge today. Tomorrow we will start to pack up for our trip. I have a early morning service appointment for the Fiat 500L Trekking in the morning.
Elise prepared pancakes, eggs and sausages for breakfast. We had plenty of coffee to get it all down.
We got a wonderful surprise in the post today. We received a calendar, a nice card and a great set of coasters from our mate Rosie who lives in Melbourne, Australia. Thank you so very much Rosie.

Well, the Truly tech just left and all is great. I finished my workout on the treadmill and now I am starving. My yogurt did not go to far at all, smile!
Chris is resting nicely and enjoying his music. I am going to dash off to Ace Hardware to have some keys made for Chris's house. Afterwards I will get Chris up and we will binge on a few movies.

The Truly Nolan tech will be here this morning between 7 and 10am for the annual inspection. I will hit up the treadmill after he is finished. I also need to take the photo of the day as well. I have no other plans except to take out my suitcase for our trip to Vegas on Wednesday morning.
My playmate and I saw the movie "How To Be Single" and it is very funny. Jane their are a few scenes I know that you will enjoy. It will remind you of "Fascinations" here in Tucson. Elise pointed that fact out and I agree with her 100%.

Afternoon!
Afternoon!
What is going on? We had a very nice breakfast this morning at the "Egg Connection" but we forgot to take our coupon with us this morning. We also forgot that Donna was coming this morning to give Chris a massage as well. What's up with that? A good thing happened though this morning. We saw Patty at the "Egg Connection" getting her grub on.
Elise is caring for Chris and I just got off of the treadmill and I also did a little yard work around the main house and behind Chris's house. Whew, I am beat. So beat that I had to get a Bob Marley One Drop Mocha Coffee. It hit the spot nicely. My playmate bought it for me yesterday. I maybe hooked on it now, smile!
We have a bit a wind this afternoon and it feels pretty good. I am going to go online to check out the weather forecast for Vegas for next week. I an also going to look up the "Mob Museum" that is in Las Vegas that Dena and Bucky suggested we visit while we are there.

I have a couple of errands to take care of this morning to include going on the air base. I will be taking the photo of the day while I am out.
We had a very nice evening with Bucky and Dena. The evening was filled with great food, fun and loads of laughs. They have a new Labradoodle puppy and is it ever loaded with energy. We played two rounds of "Wizard" and that is always a lot of fun. Of course I didn't win a round but my playmate did. Thank you Dena and Bucky for a grand evening.
We are going to go to the movies this evening after Jayne arrives to care for Chris. Tomorrow Truly Nolan will be out for the annual home inspection. On Tuesday morning I will be taking to Fiat 500L Trekking in for a routine service.
On Wednesday will be making our way to Las Vegas. We will be staying at the Palms Casino and Resort. We will once again be using our perks. Love those perks. Wish my girlfriend Sheila was joining us like she usually does but she cannot on this trip. Hope we Cha Ching while we are there. Smile!

Good Evening!
Mood: Rested! Slapped and Tickled!

It's the Weekend! How are you doing? We are good here in Central Tucson. We are resting up for our short stay cation at the DDC and our visit to the Cow Palace.
We checked into the DDC yesterday and we hit the Jack before we went down to play a few slots. It was looking bleak for a while but it picked up to the tune of winning $400.00. Yes,we quit playing for sure.
We left the casino and we drove the "Cow Palace were we met up with Vickie, Mike and Patty. We enjoyed a very nice dinner. I had the catfish platter and Elise had liver and onions. We both enjoyed a couple of glasses of red. The place was packed with people standing in line waiting to be seated. It was a nice evening filled with laughs, and good food.
After dinner we made plans for our next meeting that will take place on Fourth Ave here in Tucson. We are going to take the streetcar to get there. It is going to be fun. Thank you Mike, Vickie and Patty for a great evening.
We returned to the DDC and we played a few slots before we called it a night. We got up early the next morning so we could get on the Keno slots. Well,it is a good thing that we did because we came away with $1000.00 playing Keno. Cha Ching! Loraine did you hear the slot sing? It was a great time at the DDC.
We left the DDC feeling very good. We ended up at "Gus Balones" for breakfast and it was delicious. After breakfast we went home and we went to the movies in the afternoon. We met up with Papa John and Jane. We saw the movie "Creed". It was excellent and very well done. Talk is about a sequel being done which would be fantastic.
After the movie we returned home for a short while. After Marv arrived my playmate and I went to Happy Hour at "La Parrilla Suiza". The food and margaritas were out of sight.
After Happy Hour we drove over to the "Live Theater Workshop to see the premiere of the play "No Way To Treat A Lady" All I can say is that it is wonderful with a laugh a minute. We recommend this one for sure. What a way to end a day. Cha Ching!
We are going to spend this evening at Bucky and Dena's home. We are going to play some "Wizard". It is going to be another great time. Jayne will be here caring for Chris this evening.

The coffee is good hot, steamy and black. I will have some yogurt and maybe a English muffin for breakfast. Yeah! Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this afternoon. It is another nice morning here in the valley of Tucson.
Well, my playmate came through for me as always. She met up with her book club at "Canyon Crown" last night and she returned home with a treat for my dinner.
I had some "Bangers and Mash", baked beans, fries, and a jalapeno popper that was (poppin). It was delicious and those Bangers were (banging). Made me want to go (bang, bang), but I chilled! I am feeling a bit frisky this morning, smile!
I have a couple of errands to take care of this morning while I am out I will seek out the photo of the day. I am also going to hit the treadmill for a nice workout. I am not sure but we may hit the movies today as well.

I had some "Bangers and Mash", baked beans, fries, and a jalapeno popper that was (poppin). It was delicious and those Bangers were (banging). Made me want to go (bang, bang), but I chilled! I am feeling a bit frisky this morning, smile!
I have a couple of errands to take care of this morning while I am out I will seek out the photo of the day. I am also going to hit the treadmill for a nice workout. I am not sure but we may hit the movies today as well.

Hey, let's hear about your day? It has been a pleasant one here in Tucson. Chris and I watched some TV and relaxed.
Elise got in from bridge and she scored the cards and then she left for her Mani-Pedi with Nicolette. When she returned we watched Family Feud.
I am caring for Chris tonight and Elise is at her book club meeting at the English Pub Canyon Crown. She is going to bring back some Banger's and Mash for my dinner. Yummy!
After Chris is settled in for the count we will have a bit more of those Banger's and Mash. Smile! Right Jane? You know it!

Good Night!
Good Night!
I have to tell you it has been a hell of a day for me. Owning property and you don't live in it is a pain and I found that out to the max today.
I talked things over with the plumbing company and they agreed to give me a military discount and also another discount since I got the work done today. So it went from $2300.00 to $1860.00 dollars. This has really draining my casino funds to the max and we have planned a visit to the DDC in a few days and it also has an impact on our Vegas trip at the end of the month. So if you hear me cursing with a vengeance don't be alarmed!
Elise prepared breakfast for dinner this evening. We had homemade waffles, eggs, sausages and plenty of coffee. I am sure that I will have strong night cap before I hit the pillow.
I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is at the "Tucson Women's Chorus" practice. Have a great evening and a better tomorrow.

It's a Monday! How are you? I started the day off at 6:45am caring for Chris. Elise started her day at 5:30am but she hit up the pillow again. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and I will have some yogurt for breakfast this morning.I will also hit up the treadmill a little later after Chris is settled and resting.
It is another nice morning here in Tucson and we may hit a new record temperature wise today. It is getting to be short sleeve season. Yeah! I have no plans for today as of yet.
I am a little concerned because I was notified last night that the house I own on the East side is having a plumbing issue. So the plumber will be out sometime this morning to see what needs to be done.
We had a very nice evening last night at"Inca's". It is located in the foothills of Tucson. It is a Peruvian restaurant and we have to thank Papa John and Jane for letting us know about this place. We were joined by Jane, Papa John, Shoo and Stu.
The "Incas" provides live music and the wait staff is very good. My playmate and I enjoyed a couple of "Pisco Sours that were very, very good. For dinner we shared Cocktail de Langostinos, Aquadito de Pollo, Lomo Saltado, and a cake that was excellent. The evening was exceptional and I took a few photos of the mountains for the photo of the day. Fantastic evening! Thanks Papa and Jane. We also delivered Papa's birthday card and gift to him as well. Of course both the card and the gift were a bit naughty! That's how Papa likes it, smile!
Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good day and stay safe.

Hello!
How is it going so far? We had a very nice breakfast at the "Egg Connection". The place was packed and that is a good thing.
While we were having our breakfast Chris was receiving a massage from Donna. Elise is caring for Chris and she will be getting a massage from Donna this afternoon. I am going to get some yard work done behind Chris's house and I am going to water wash down the shed so I can paint it.
I will be taking the photo of the day at "Inca" this evening.

It's a Sunday! Happy Valentines Day! I started the day off at 5:00am getting Chris settled for Elise. Elise is in here cave this morning but she will be over very soon to care for Chris. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and a second cup will be enjoyed. We are going to the "Egg Connection" for breakfast this morning as usual. It is another nice morning here in Tucson.
We had a grand time with Paula and Marty at "Pita Jungle" last night and the food was very good. Elise and I both had "Gyro's". Delicious! We also enjoyed a couple of glass of a nice Merlot. Thank you Paula and Marty.
After dinner we went to the "Winding Road Theater" to see the play "Sovereign Body". It was a moving, funny and complex story of a woman's struggle to reclaim her body after being struck by a neurological illness. Thank you Paula and Marty for suggesting this one.
We received a very nice surprise from Chris's caregiver Jayne yesterday. She is into beading and she gave Elise and I some samples of her craft. They are very nice and we immediately put them on last night. What a grand gesture . Thank you Jayne.
Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris. We are meeting up this evening with Jane, John, Shoo and Stu for dinner and live music up in the foothills. It is a Peruvian restaurant that they suggested we try.

How is it going? I am good here just woke up a little while ago and my playmate is counting Javelina right now, smile!
I got my errands taken care of and I picked up the Valentines Day goodies while I was out and about. You know the flowers and candy and of course the card. Am I going to get lucky or what? Smile!
It is heating up here in Tucson and the Snowbirds are returning. Hope all is going well for you so far today?

We had a very nice time at "Pastiche" with Dottie last night. The food was very good. After dinner we went to the "Invisible Theater" to see the play "The Deelmayker". It was very good and funny. It is all about aging, relevance, and making the deal. The theater was packed.
We are going to meet up with Paula and Marty this evening at "Pita Jungle" for dinner. Afterwards we are going to see a live play in the downtown area.

TGIF!
Good Morning!
Mood: Sleepy! Aches and Pains!

It's a TGIF! How are you doing? I started the day off at 6:40am caring for Chris. Elise is already up and about. I didn't sleep well at all last night due to a stuffy head and a few aches and pains that kept me tossing and turning for most of the night. I will take something shortly for this ailment. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and I don't have any appetite this morning but I will eat something light. I am not going to hit up the treadmill today. For me not to do that means that I am not at my best.
We saw the movie "Hail Caesar" yesterday and it was funny bur fair. We had a great evening last night with Shoo and Stu. We enjoyed good food, fun, laughs and of course "Majhong".
Last nights play was very strange indeed. The cat won the first three games in a row. Elise won two games, Stu and I didn't win anything, and Shoo who always wins at least one game did not win either. It was a lot of fun and it was good to see Stu let loose and laugh more than usual. It may have been the champagne, eh? A wonderful evening.
My playmate, Dottie and I are having dinner this evening at "Pastiche". The food is always good there. After dinner we are going to the "Invisible Theater" to see a live play. We are really looking forward to it. I am sure that I will be feeling much better by this evening.

I am waiting of the coffee to finish brewing with my cup at the ready. I will have some cottage cheese and crackers for breakfast this morning. It is another nice morning here in Tucson.
Jayne will be here to care for Chris today all day due to a (Snafu) that appeared suddenly. We will be hosting a "Mahjong Marathon" here this evening with Shoo and Stu. It is going to be an evening of fun, laughs, good food, music, skill, and cutthroat tactics especially on my part. Smile! Are you ready Shoo and Stu? If not too late! Shoo the bubbly is nice and chilled!
My playmate and I saw the movie "45 Years" at the Loft yesterday. It is a very good movie and the acting superb. It is a dark movie that looks into the life of a couple that a secret has been kept and it surfaces and it starts to cause problems and doubt about the relationship. Excellent movie. We will see "Hail Caesar" This afternoon if time permits.

I have no plans for today except to take today's photo and I will be putting plastic over a view windows so the wrought iron can be painted if the wind permits. I will also hit the treadmill sometime today.
We will be hosting a Mahjong Marathon here on Thursday evening. I will be defeating my playmate, Shoo and Stu. It will be a fun evening of fun, food, laugh, good jazz, and skill on my part. Smile!

It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will up and about soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee is wonderful this morning and I will have some yogurt for breakfast. It is a nice morning here in Tucson and we are starting to heat up. David will be here this morning to care for Chris.
