Hump Day Dog!! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:15am caring for Chris. Elise is purring this morning and she is not in her cave. It must be getting a remodeling job or something because she has not been in it now for a couple of days. Smile! Any plans for today?

The coffee is great and the kettle is on to heat up some water for a bowl of oatmeal. I have to run a quick errand this morning and I am going to go to Elise's book club meeting with her this afternoon. Rosemary will be here to care for Chris.

Looking forward to hearing the Tucson Women's Chorus this weekend at the Botanical Gardens. It should be a good program and Elise is a part of it. Well, I had better get this day moving. Have a good Hump Day and enjoy.

The day has come to a close and it has been a pretty good one. Angelica cared for Chris and that freed up some (me) time. I went out to the DDC and I played slots for awhile and it was a lot of fun and I did not lose anything because I used my perks.

In the afternoon Elise and I shot baskets in the backyard and Elise is getting pretty good. Later in the evening Elise prepared breakfast for dinner and it was very good. We had pancakes, eggs and sausages, with plenty of coffee.

We also watched another episode of "Breaking Bad" we are hooked on this show. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is checking her email. I am a bit irritated this evening with JT but that is nothing new. I am taking the advice that my brother gave me. That is to let go and let God!

Well, you have a great evening and a better tomorrow. It is a Hump Day!

What is up? I started the day off at 3:30am looking in on and caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning but she is guiding ships into port due to a heavy fog this morning, smile! Any plans for today?

Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. I have a couple of errands to take care of and while she is here I will make a trip to the DDC. I am feeling lucky early this morning. The coffee is brewing and I will have a bowl of oatmeal to go along with it.

Another Monday has passed us by and it has been a fairly good one. I got a few chores done around the house and Chris and I relaxed and watched TV for the most part.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise just left to practice with the Tucson Women's Chorus. We had leftover turkey for dinner and it was so good. I am stuffed again.

Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a good evening and a better day tomorrow.

Lookout it's another Monday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be up and about very soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and hot and I am thinking about a bowl of hot steaming oatmeal. Well, the month is almost over and it had flashed by very fast or is it just me? We had a very relaxed stay-cation thanks to my brother Herman. We went out to the DDC while we were on this stay-cation and we doubled our money so that in itself is a good thing, Cha ching!

We went to the movies to see " Descendants" with George Clooney and it was excellent. The theatre was packed to the ceiling with people and after the movie was over there was a line waiting to get in that would fill it up again. A totally different type of movie for Clooney. We recommend it as a must see!

I will post a few of our Thanksgiving pics in the next posting to our blog. Well, I had better get busy. Have a good day and stay safe.

Weekend Is Here!

The Weekend Is Here!! How are you? I started the day off at 5:15am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is not in her cave and she is awake this morning. She will be heading for the pool shortly. When she returns she will be caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

I am downing a cup of coffee and some oatmeal and it is good. We are just about all packed up for our short stay-cation at the Fairfield Inn-Butterfield here in Tucson. We are going to the movies later in the day to see "Descendant's" and then we will hit the DDC for a short while. We will have our laptop with us so we can play games and glance at the our emails.

John will be caring for Chris while we are away on this short trip. I will post a few pictures of our Thanksgiving tomorrow if I don't forget. Smile! We will have plenty of Jack on hand this evening. Well, I had better get busy and make sure that I am all packed and ready. Have a great weekend and be careful out there.

How are you doing? Well, the Thanksgiving feast went off pretty good, even though we had a (SNAFU) that changed things a bit. I believe everyone had a good time and they got plenty to eat. As a matter of fact I am still feeling like a (Butterball) right now, smile.

I cared for Chris today and I stayed away from the ham and the turkey so far. The evening is still young! Marv will be here to care for Chris this evening. That will give Elise and I a chance rest up a bit from all of yesterday's activities.

We are going on our stay-cation tomorrow but it will be right here in Tucson. We will be staying at the Fairfield Inn on the south-side of Tucson. I will be taking my laptop along so we can play a few games while we are there. I think that I will go and pick up my perks from the DDC and I just might pull a few slot handles as well. It has been a long time since I have been out there.

It has been really cool here today and it is only 60 degrees right now. Elise's sister Ann had family are still here with us. Well, I had better go over to the main house and see what is going on. I hope that your turkey day was a good and I hope that you gave things for just being here to see another one.

Hump Day! I started the day off at 5:10am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning she must be mining for diamonds or something. Not to worry she will start her day soon. Any plans for today?

I had one of the weird dreams that woke me up at around midnight or so. It was an eye-opener let me tell you. I was going to venture into Elise's cave to tell her about it but I decided not to. I will let her know about it as soon as she returns to the surface.

The coffee is good this morning and I welcome it gladly. Today is going to be a busy one and I will be online off and on. We will be getting set up for tomorrow's dinner and making sure that we have all that we need.

Elise and I may go to the Outback this evening while Rosemary is here caring for Chris. Well, I had better get another cup of coffee and get this day rolling. Have a wonderful Hump Day. Elise, Chris and I wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and we hope that you reflect on the meaning of the day.

Well, the day has ended and it has been a different kind of a day. Elise and I ran many errands this morning and later in the afternoon I ran the errands that I had needed to do.

I got a call from my nurse supervisor that she wanted to come out three and that filled the rest of my day up. I had planned on making a visit to the DDC to pick up our perks and get my gift that is waiting for me, but I could not.

Later we were visited by a person from One Energy trying to sell solar and radiant systems. I will check them out online and with the BBC to see if they are legit. It seems a little shaky to me.

Elise prepared breakfast for dinner this evening and it was great. We had thick sliced bacon, eggs, toast, and potatoes. Excellent. We watched another episode of Breaking Bad.

I am caring for Chris and Elise is catching up on her mail. Tomorrow will be another busy day due we are setting up 20 people or more for Thanksgiving dinner. I am going to sit back and observe what goes on during dinner and after. I will be sitting in a chair with vino in hand, not moving a muscle. It should be very interesting.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great evening.

The coffee is good and hot and I am thinking about a slice of toast to go along with it. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. Elise and I have a few errands to run this morning. Are you all set for Turkey Day?

We are expecting a house full of family and friends at least 18 or so. It should be interesting and it should be a gastronomical delight, smile. Well, I had better check on Chris and get ready to get those errands completed. Have a great day!

Well, Monday is just about over and it was a true Monday let me tell you. There were a few problems and I bet that they will continue for a few more days, I have that funny feeling. I am going to sit back and see how things work out without putting anything into it.

I got my in-service out of the way today and it was not too bad. I did get some very good news from Ohio and Australia about my book though. It was enjoyed and reviewed and that made me feel better. The reviews will be added to the original book along with the others.

Elise prepared soup for dinner this evening and cheese sandwiches. It was great. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is at the Tucson Women's Chorus practicing for the next show here at the Botanical Gardens. It will take place the first week of December.

We watched the DVD "Breaking Bad" and I am sure that we are hooked on it. Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a good evening.

Monday For Sure!!

It's a Monday without a doubt. How are you? I started the day off at 5:05am caring for Chris. Elise is still chasing raindrops this morning. Yes, I said raindrops, it is raining this morning here in the Old Pueblo. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and I am thinking about a bowl of oatmeal is in order. Yummy! I am cautious this morning being that it is a Monday but I have a slight feeling that things are not going to go well over the next few days. We will see!

Elise beat me yesterday in ping pong. She beat me two to one. After the ping pong we came inside and we played tennis on the Wii. While we played we downed a few Cuba Libra's and they were very good.

Later in the evening Elise prepared dinner that consists of BLT's, and baby carrots. It was delicious. We watched a DVD called "Alarm" that was very good and we were glued to the TV screen a very good thriller. Rosemary arrived to care for Chris and that freed us up to go to the movies.

We went to the Crossroads Theatre and we saw " Sarah's Key". This movie was very good and and you could hear a pin drop if someone had one. The movie took place in 1942 and it was about the rounding up of 76,000 Jews by the French police. They were put into a holding area and the conditions were terrible. They were separated by sex, and the children were taken away from families.

They were shipped off to German concentration camps and later sent to gas chambers. We had no idea that the French did such a thing. The title " Sarah's Key" is very interesting and I will not give that away. It is a very good movie and a shocker as well. It is one of those movies that will stay with you for quite a while.

I have to run a few errands this morning and I have to attend a in-service-class again for the month of November. Well, are you ready for gobble day? Things are shaping up around here so far. Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good Monday but beware!

How are you? I started the day off at 5:30am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is still searching for Gecko's in her cave this morning, but as soon as she sees a few of those beady-eyed guys she will start her day. Any plan for today?

The coffee is good this morning and I will be getting second cup without a doubt. We are going out for breakfast this morning at "The Egg Connection". We will meet up with Paula and Marty there. They have some of the best breakfast fixings in the Tucson area.

We had a very nice evening last night at "Zemems" with Paula, Marty, Shoo, and Stu. The food was as good as always and the red was flowing nicely. Good food, friends, conversation who could ask for anything more. We missed having Jane and John with us, they are a very busy couple and we hope to see them the next time we meet in December.

We may go to the movies this evening after Rosemary arrives to care for Chris. I received a very touching card in the post yesterday from my long time friend Monna whom I have known 20 years plus. The card was in reference to my book " My Family Book". I have posted it to our blog to share with you.

Well, I had better get myself another cup of coffee and I will get this day moving forward. Have a good Sunday and a better day tomorrow. Yes, it will be a Monday!

I have a few errands to run this morning out on the airbase. We are meeting up with Paula, Marty, Stu and Shoo for dinner at Zemems this evening. Angelica will be here this evening to care for Chris.

The coffee is good this morning and I am in search of a second cup. We had a nice dinner last night at "Cody's Beef and Bean". We both got the T-bone special and it was very good. We got it down with a carafe of Burgundy. Our Wildcats lost last night to Mississippi, but they will win the next one. Go Cat's!

How is it going? I just returned from running a quick errand. Elise checking her email right now. She will be hosting a marathon bridge session at 1:00pm. It is rather nice outside temperature wise and it is bright and sunny.

I just boxed up two copies of my book to go out in the mail first thing in the morning. One is going to Florida and the other is headed for Ohio. So do you have any plans set for the weekend?
