Was your day better than mine was? Smile! I hope so. We are getting sprinkled on right now here in central Tucson. I hope that we get a good rain.
Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had blueberry pancakes, sausages, and eggs. We got it all down with coffee.
We watched Madam Secretary on Netflix. It is a very good series. Chris enjoyed it a lot.
I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in her office on her desktop. Tomorrow is going to be another busy day. We have a plumber coming out to do so work on the bathroom sinks in the main house and in Chris's house. My casino winnings are going down the drain if you will! Not smiling!

Hello!
How are you doing? I hope much better than I am on this Monday. I got Chris up and ready for his doctor's appointment. I took over to the main house while I get his van out of the driveway. Well, no luck because it would not start.
So I had too call to cancel his appointment. I bought a new battery and now Chris's van is running again. What a pain let me tell you. I had to make a trip out to his doctor's office to get another appointment date. True Monday, right?
Chris is watching TV at the present time and Elise is at the gym. I do hope that your day has been better than mine? I am so behind with my To Do List tasks.

It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will up and at it soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee just finished brewing and my cup is full. It is going to be a busy day for me. I have quite a few things and tasks to get done. First task is to get Chris to his doctor's appointment that is at 10:30am. After that I will be very busy for the rest of the day.
We had a nice time up in Mesa and Gilbert. The service for our beloved Teresa was very good and the church was packed.
Hey did you hear the Cha Chings yesterday afternoon? My shorty and I were on a roll. We came home with a little bit over $2000.00 big ones. A good day at the DDC. We were hot!
We enjoyed a wonderful evening out with Paula, Marty and Shoo Shoo at "Zemams". The food was as good as ever and the vino (rosso) hit the spot. When we got back home Elise prepared some "White Russians" each of us and one for Jayne. Man they are so good with some soft serve on top.

Hello!
Hello!
How is it going? It is a warm morning here in Tucson. I just completed my To Do List except for filling up the Fiat500L Trekking. I will get that done soon. Alexa is on my case to get it done.
Elise is at the gym and I checked my suitcase to make sure I have all need for our stay-cation in Phoenix. We will be hitting the road at around noon or so.
Here is a bit more about out trip to Oakland and San Francisco. Enjoy!
July 20
We got up and headed for the airport at 9:00am. We had a nice breakfast and we enjoyed a Bloody Mary while we waited for our flight.
We left Tucson at 11:15am making our way to Salt Lake City to catch our connecting flight. The flight was very good. We arrived in Salt Lake City at around 4:00pm. We contacted Sheila and she picked us up.
Sheila drove us to Patrick's house where she staying. Patrick is Sheila's son. It is a very charming two bedroom home that was built in the 20's. Sheila gave us a tour of the house and we met Paco the killer pug. Smile!
After we rested up a bit and got settled Sheila took us Quinn's for dinner. We had a few gin and tonics, clam chowder, fish and chips. It was all good! After dinner we took the Lyft back to because we didn't want to drink and drive with the crazy Cali drivers.
We got back to the house and we enjoyed a few more gin and tonics before we called it game over. A very nice day in Oakland. Patrick is in Cuba on vacation. Wow!

How are you doing so far on this Thirsty Thursday? I am working off my tasks on my To Do List and I have a couple more to complete.
I just cooked up a mess of Polenta and man it is so good. I am almost finished with my world famous tuna jalapeno dip. I sampled a little and man it is kickin'. After it gets cold and sets overnight it will be killer tomorrow. It is so good when you dip in a Frito Scoop. Are you getting hungry yet? Smile!

The coffee is good and a second cup will be enjoyed during my (me)time on the front porch. I have a new (me) time buddy, yes I do. It is a hummingbird that has built a nest out front. He/She visits me up close and personal when I am on the front porch. I hope to be able to take picture today if I can.
Alexia is on my case this morning because I have a long list of tasks to complete today. To include making my world famous tuna dip for our trip to the Mesa/Gilbert area tomorrow afternoon.
My suitcase is out and ready to be filled. My shorty and I are going back to the Loft to see "Happy Hours". Hopefully they have repaired the projector so we can see it this time. Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.

How are you? We just got back from my victory dinner at Caruso's. Wow, are we stuffed! Great food and vino. My shorty spared nothing tonight!
We had a nice bottle of Chianti to start. We shared some Minestrone that was excellent and the bread was oh my goodness. I had the linguine with meat sauce and Elise had the lasagna with meatballs. The portions were huge and so good. We got home and we had to have a hot of limoncello to take away the fullness. Aaahhh!

How is it going for you so far on this Hump Day? I just finished my To Do List but I have one more task to complete. That is to go out to dinner with my shorty at Caruso's on Fourth Avenue. Manja!
It is getting cloudy out and we may see some of the wet stuff today, hopefully! Smile! I have my flip flops at the door and a bath towel to dry off with. Yeah! Here is a bit about our trip to Oakland and San Francisco. Enjoy!
19 July
Bobby was supposed to work but he had an incident so we asked Jayne to work today and she agreed to.
We left the house and we made our way to the DDC to play some Keno.We had fun but not much luck so we left to get something for breakfast at Jerry Bob's. Elise had an omelette and I had pork chops and eggs. It was very good.
After breakfast we checked into the Towne Place Suites for an overnight stay. We leave for Oakland tomorrow morning and we will return on Sunday for another overnight stay at Towne Place Suites.
We enjoyed a complimentary dinner at the hotel. We had hamburgers, hotdogs and chips. We got it all down with some vino rosso.
Before dinner we went to the movies . After the movies we returned to the DDC on a hunch that I had that we could do much better. Elise won twice on the Keno Slots ($350) dollars. I won a bit on the dollar machines. We were getting ready to leave and Elise won another $128.00 on a penny slot. The Cha Chings were playing our song. We returned to the hotel to rest and watch a little TV before it was lights out.
A good start to a much needed trip.

It is a nice morning here in the valley of Tucson. We have plenty of clouds and it looks like we may be rained on. I have my flip flops at the ready for sure. I hope that Loraine is ready to join me in the all-together if it rains. Jane will be up in Mesa today so I will miss dashing about with her.
My shorty and I are going to Caruso's for dinner this evening. I will be collecting on the bet we made on the NBA Finals. Can you say (Manja?) Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris.
I will post the pics from our trip to Oakland and San Francisco later this morning. We will be getting our suitcases out again tomorrow to get ready to pack for our short stay-cation up in the Mesa/Gilbert area. We will be attending the services for our dear Teresa who recently passed. Jayne will be here to care for Chris while we are away.

I hope that your went well? I got all of my tasks completed and the green lady is happy and purring nicely.
Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had pancakes, eggs and sausages with plenty of coffee. Very good. We watched "Frankie and Grace" on Netflix and we watched Body of Proof as well. Chris enjoyed both of them.
I am caring for Chris tonight and Elise is in her office on her desktop. I just finished reviewing the pictures from Oakland and San Francisco. I will post them tomorrow if nothing comes up.
I have learned another valuable lesson today about human nature. I always heed what I hear and see. I will continue to move forward and I will not take any steps backwards. I am truly very blessed and for that I am grateful.

Are you good so far on this Tricky Tuesday! We are supposed to get more rain so says the weather-people.
I just got back from the airbase taking care of a little bit of business that needed tending to.
My To Do List is complete except for rechecking my packing for our trip to Oakland and San Francisco with Sheila. Sheila is making her way to Oakland as I post to our blog.
All of a sudden I was hit by the munchies so I stopped in Burger King and got a large hash rounds and some orange juice. What's with that?

How are you doing? We are good here in central Tucson. Please if you could please say a prayer or two for our Jane and Papa John. He was hospitalized today and he will stay in overnight for observation. Thank you in advance.
I completed all of my tasks for today a little while ago. My shorty helped me to take out our stove to the curb for the upcoming Brush and Bulk pick up. We are sure that someone will take it before then. Our new range will be delivered tomorrow morning.

Chris and I are mellowing and listening to some blues and we are having a good time. Chris is really into it, yes! Hope that you are all doing OK?

Well, our suitcases our out and waiting to be filled. Elise and I will start the process of deciding what to pack for our trip to Oakland and San Francisco. We leave on Wednesday and we will return on Sunday with a stay at a Marriott due to we get in late. Jayne will be here caring for Chris while we are away. Sheila here we come.
We had a great evening last night at "Humble Pie" with Jane and Papa John" aka (Wet Head). Smile. The food was very good and the bottle of "Lodi" called Plunger Head was very good. Thank you Jane and Papa John for a very nice evening.
Tomorrow we are taking delivery of a new stove due to our present one's oven isn't heating like it should. So will sit it out for Brush and Bulk pick up along with a few more items.

Hello!..
How are you? We just got back from having a very nice breakfast at the "Egg Connection" with Pat. The food was as good as ever.
Elise is caring for Chris and I am about to do some yard work behind Chris's house. I will also restock Chris's supplies for the upcoming week.
We are looking forward to our evening with Jane and Papa John at "Humble Pie". Have a good afternoon.

Good Night!
Good Night!
How are you tonight? We just got back from seeing the movie "Maudie" at the Loft. It is an excellent movie and the acting was superb. I came away thinking that if you think that you have it bad then you need to see this movie. It is an eye-opener. The theater was packed totally. Excellent movie, and it deserved the applause that it got when it was over. This is one that I would buy if it came out on DVD.
Jayne is here caring for Chris and Elise is in her office on her laptop. We were hoping that it would be raining after the movie but no such luck.

What is up? We just returned from picking up Jayne's bedroom suite and she is a very happy camper. It is a pretty nice set. It took Elise, Bobby, Jayne and myself to get it loaded in the Uhaul but we got it done. Whew!
I am starving so I had a couple of White Castle cheeseburgers with a Grape-Rita and all I can say is Wunderbar! It is a very hot on here in the valley but we have some clouds rolling in. So maybe we get some rain.
All of my tasks have been completed for today and that is good. We hope that your day is going well so far?

The coffee hasn't finished brewing yet but my cup is ready to be filled. It is another muggy and sticky morning here in Tucson. Zack will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this evening.
My To Do List is telling me that it is going to be a busy day today. We will helping Jayne this morning pick up an item of furniture for her apartment.
My shorty and I enjoyed Happy Hour at "La Parrillia Suiza" last night. Good food and great margaritas. After HH we enjoyed the play "Same Time, Next Year". It was excellent and oh so funny. We were joined by Jane and Papa John. It is always a treat and a adventure with them. We will be meeting up with Jane and Papa John again on Sunday evening.

Good Night!
How are you? I am good. My shorty and I played "Wii" games this afternoon and Chris enjoyed watching us.
I was thinking about my Mom a lot today and that is always a good thing for me. I relaxed and listened to some Down Home Blues. Mom and Dad liked listening to the blues and now I know why they enjoyed it so much. It tells a story about life that is so true. I was in a mellow mood during my listening time.
I want to thank my sister Jet for responding to my post on the blog today. I also want to thank Jane and Shoo Shoo for giving some insight as well. As soon as Marv arrives to care for Chris we will make our way to Happy Hour and to the Live Theater Workshop.

How are you doing so far on this TGIF? I am on track so far and that is a good thing. It is starting to heat up here in the valley.
I am about to bounce to gas up the Fiat 500L Trekking and the Tacoma. After that is done I will only have one more task to complete. Then I can rest up for tonight's events.
Hey, here is a question for my sister Tiger, Marcie, and Jet. I noticed something today that got me to thinking. I do that a lot but you my sisters know that, right? My playmate does too!
Why do some people have to be the center of attention? Why do some people say what they are going to do and don't do it? Why do people try to hide what or who they are by doing or trying not to be who they are? Deep questions, eh sisters? I believe that you cannot help others if you are not happy with yourself first. Respect is the key, my opinion sisters. Sisters I will be waiting to hear from you when you have the time. I am just curious but I have seen this myself with a smile in your face and a bad mouth about you when you are not around. I am quick to notice this problem and I will start to stay clear of these type of people. They have to fix themselves first before they can help others.

Are you good? We just got back from picking up Chris's meds from Spectrum Pharmacy. Elise is on her desktop and I am watching Family Feud.
We enjoyed the movie "Big Sick" at El Con. A very good movie but it was not as good as "Hero". Big Sick was very predictable.
We will be leaving shortly to meet up with the crew at "Stray Dogs" for dinner. It should be a good evening as always. I hope that I don't forget to take a few pics.
It is really getting cloudy and a breeze is coming on. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for me so says Alexa. She knows me very well.

How are you holding up so far on this Thirsty Thursday? I enjoyed my (me) time this morning. I didn't go on the front porch but I got on the lounger in the family room and listened to some smooth jazz. It is so soothing to my soul!
Elise is relaxing and reading a book. My To Do List is good to go for today. We are looking forward to meeting up with the crew at "Stray Dog" for dinner.
This morning I had to deal with a couple of issues with Chris that happened overnight. I had to replace a catheter that had fallen off that soaked his bed. I also had to do a little clean up work as well and tend to a skin scratch that needed an anti-bi on it to prevent infection setting. I took care of these issue before Jayne arrived to start her shift with Chris. You always have to pay close attention to detail when it comes to Chris care or problems will occur.
I am hoping that Chris's med's that I ordered yesterday arrive today as promised. Well, I had better get the fur-babies fed and check their water bowl.

Evening!
Evening! Despicable Me 3 and we loved it. We are now resting up for tonight's battle royal at Shoo Shoo's home. Yes, it is a Mahjong fest about to kick off. I do hope that Shoo has been honing her game. If not she will be in some serious trouble tonight.
I am still very cautious and my eyes and ears are open wide because something is just not right. I am on the defensive and I don't like to be like that but I have to at the present time. Have a wonderful evening and enjoy the night and sleep well.

I have completed all of my To Do List tasks for today. Now I am waiting on our movie venture and later the Mahjong fest with Shoo Shoo and Jayne. I do know one thing and that is I am starting to get hungry. I bought some White Castle cheeseburgers to tackle the munchies when I get them. Yummy!
