Buona Sera

Buona Sera!

How was your day? It has been a very busy one for me today, but I got through it.

I am living in the (loo) today. I am on a anti-biotic and to counter that I am on a pro-biotic as well. So far I am about to set up a TV in the (loo).

My playmate prepared corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, and baby carrots for dinner. I was surprisingly hungry. I got it all down with a Vernors Ginger Ale. We watched "In The Dark" on Netflix with Chris.

I am caring for Chris tonight and my shorty is in the main house watching the news. We were hoping to watch game number 3 of the World Series, but it was cancelled due to rain. Chris is enjoying his supplemental drip. I will give him some mashed potatoes in a bit. We are watching "Monday Night Football".

Tomorrow morning I will be dropping of the "Green Lady" for service. Chris will receive a massage tomorrow from Rosemarie.

Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a good night's sleep so you can be ready for "Taco Tuesday". I will chat at you later.

Buongiorno! Buon Lunedi! How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Sumatran Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is chilly, but clear morning here in the valley of Tucson.

Jackie the caregiver will be this morning to care for Chris. Chris will be receiving a massage tomorrow from Rosemarie. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks to take care of today. She reminded me that the "Green Lady" has a early morning service appointment tomorrow. I asked her to play some "Blues" for me today.

I have started a new rock and hopefully it will be completed today. We still need to get more rocks very soon. Our selection is not good right now.

I got a wonderful surprise yesterday from my sister Karen who lives in Georgia. She celebrated her 60th birthday and she is (beautiful). I will post a picture of her later today.

Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a good Lunedi and I will chat at you later. Stay safe.

Ciao!

How are you doing? We just got back from having a good breakfast at the "Egg Connection".

I am about to start my usual Domenica tasks. I thought that by having some breakfast that it might make me feel somewhat better, but not all. I am going to take things slow and very easy today. I usually am out and about during today's Porch Fest, but this year I am drained, and I have no energy at all. I will miss taking pictures of the event. My girlfriend Shoo Shoo is going to attend the Porch Fest this year.

Buongiorno! Buon Domenica! How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good "Sumatran Blend", and a second cup will be enjoyed at the "Egg Connection" along with a good breakfast blend. It is a clear, chilly morning here in Tucson.

Elise is caring for Chris today. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete. I do have my normal Domenica tasks to complete for next week. I asked her to play some "Boney" for me today.

Well, the World Series is all tied up. I am looking forward to game number 3. Go Philly!

We slept until 9:00am. The ship was really rocking during the night from side to side. The sea is very choppy.

We got dressed and we headed for the Garden Cafe for breakfast. We barely made it there because they were switching over for lunch. Today is a sea day.

After breakfast Elise went for a 2 mile walk on the jogging track. She got rained on during her walk. I went to deck 7 to watch a dance class.

We spent the afternoon roaming around the ship, of course we hit up three bars. Ya Mon'. We went to the Internet Cafe to print out our boarding passes for our flight home.

This evening we will tag and put our luggage outside of our cabin door to be picked up 10:00pm. We hit the pillow to get a good night's sleep before we arrived in New York.

It has been a great and restful trip. It may be our last one for quite a while.

Buongiorno! Buon Sabato! How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good "Sumatran Blend", and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. I am also enjoying a nice (biscotti) with my coffee. It is a chilly morning here in the valley of Tucson.

I am caring for Chris today up until 5:00pm when Sister Jayne arrives. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. She did remind me that we are going to a birthday party this evening for our next-door neighbor.

My playmate and I went to the "Loft" yesterday to see the movie "Tar". It was excellent with fantastic acting and action.

Hey, how about those "Phillies". It was a very good World Series game, and my team pulled it off. Go Phillies!

Here is what happened on our cruise on 14 Oct. Enjoy!

14 Oct Halifax, Canada.

We started the morning off with breakfast in the "Garden Cafe". We enjoyed omelets and beans.

We went ashore and we wandered through various shops. We picked up t-shirts and other items to buy.

After that we got on the Hop on-Hop off bus tour that we purchased. It took us all over Halifax. Our guide talked about the bringing of the dead bodies of the Titanic disaster to be buried here. The Titanic sank right off of Newfoundland. We also were informed that many planes were diverted here after 9-11.

Plus, there was a big explosion here in the late 1800's, that was almost as big as the Atomic Bomb in Japan. It decimated the town, and it killed 2000 people instantly. Remnants of the explosion is still visible today. After the tour we found a pizza place and we enjoyed pizza and beer. It was delicious.

We returned to our cabin. Later we sat in O'Sheehan's Bar for about three hours. We enjoyed watching the bartenders at work. Of course, while we were sitting and watching we had not one, not two, but three Jack and Cokes. Th bartenders worked like maniacs to cover the crowd's orders. The guy sitting next to Elise wanted to hire one of the Filipino bartenders to come and work for him in the USA. The bartender said that he 9 months on the ship and 3 months at home and that they pay is not that great. Elise told the guy sitting next to her that at least they have a job and the guy (sniffed).

At around 8:30pm we went up to the "Garden Cafe" to get some food. We got ice cream a two "White Russians" to take our cabin. We are set for the night. A good day in Halifax. Here are a few pictures! Enjoy!
