How was your day? It has been a pretty good one here in Central Tucson. I took it nice and slow today.

I kept an eye on the caregiver today via a security camera that I installed a few days ago. If I see an issue, I share the camera results with my playmate.

Chris and I enjoyed a horror movie today on TV. It was more funny than scary. Smile.

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is resting and watching TV while he downs his supplemental drip. I will give him some cheesecake for dessert.

My shorty is at "Feast" with her book club. I usually place an order for my dinner but this time I declined due to the menu is a bit pricey. So, I decided to make myself a sandwich and a bowl of Ramen.  It is very good, and I will have a "Moretti" to go along with. Ya Mon'.

Tomorrow I will be taking Sister Jayne to another doctor's appointment in the afternoon. We were going to play some "Pickleball" tomorrow, but something came up.

Well, I had better get back to Chris. I think that I am going to hit my pillow early tonight to try to catch up on the sleep that I lost last night.

Buongiorno!  Buona Martedi! Taco Tuesday!  How are you? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Colombian Blend, and a second cup will be downed later this morning. It is another cold, but clear morning here in the valley of Tucson. I can smell rain in the air this morning.

Jackie the caregiver will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she reminded me that Chris the iRobot will be coming out this morning to clean the main house carpet. I asked her to play some "Funk Jazz" for me today.

I woke up from a very vivid and clear dream at around 3:10am. It was not a good one and it had to do with family members. I will keep my eyes and ears open wide.

I have three continuing medical education classes to complete and one elective that I choose. I will get them done as soon as I can.

Well, I had better get to it straight away. Have a good Taco Tuesday and I will chat at you later. Stay safe, sound, and healthy.

My shorty is meeting up at "Feast" with one of her book clubs. I will place my dinner order for sure. I will have my fork, knife, and spoon at the ready.

How are you doing? We are good here, but today has been a total (SNAFU) in military jargon.

I got Sister Jayne to her doctor's appointment early. The problem was that two doctor' offices did not communicate with each other at all. So, all she could do was fill out paperwork and hopefully they will give her another appointment very soon. I contacted Sister Jayne's sister here in Tucson and I got no replay. I contacted her sisters in Kenya and the responded in a matter of minutes. I was updating them on what was and what was not going on today. I contacted her sister here so she could come to the doctor's office if there was an issue that I could not handle. Unbelievable morning, indeed. A true (Monday).

The caregiver did not check Chris's catheter properly and his wheelchair was totally soaked when the caregiver ended her shift. So, I had to get him back into his bed, give him a bed bath, replace the catheter, his clothes, and his sling had to be put into the wash with the rest of the clothes. My shorty returned home in time to help me get it all done. A true (Monday), but no excuse for this one at all. 

Hey, how about those Chiefs? Wonderful game, indeed.

Mia Moglie is caring for Chris today. Alexa is awake and she yelled at me this morning because I am behind on preparing for "Chef's Day". I asked her to play some music to cook by.

Yes, today is "Chef's Day". My Sous Chef and I will be preparing a "Rotisserie Chicken". My Sous Chef will be preparing the sides dishes and she will be selecting a libation to go along with the meal. It is going to be good. Can you smell the chicken turning around in the rotisserie?  Ya Mon'.

I am caring for Chris today up until 5:00pm when Sister Jayne arrives.  Alexa is awake and she said that I need to take the "Green Lady" to the car wash. I agree because she has been frowning for the past few days.

My shorty and I went to Park Mall yesterday to see the movie "Missing". It was very good. We will hit up the "Roadhouse" this evening to see the movie "Women Talking" the previews were very good and we are sure it will not let us down.

I will be starting a new rock today if time permits. My playmate has been commissioned to create a new rock. That is great.

Hey, we are getting ready for some football. Yes, tomorrow we will be glued to the TV. Sunday will be another "Chefs Day". My Sous Chef and I will be preparing "Rotisserie Chicken". My Sous Chef will select the sides and the libation. Woohoo!

We enjoy the movie "Living" at the "Loft" yesterday and it was very good. We will be bouncing over to Park Mall this afternoon to see the movie "Missing". The previews were very good.

Out evening at the "Outback" with Sharon and Deb was wonderful. We enjoyed a good bottle of vino rosso. The meal was very good as well. We all got our (grub) on. Thank you, Sharon and Deb, for a good time.

My playmate and I will be meeting Bucky and Dena at Reid Park this morning to play "Pickleball". Hopefully my left heel will be able to stand it.

Chris required extra attention this morning. He needed a complete bedding change and shower. It was a setback for my day, and I am feeling a little overwhelmed right now. I will be picking up Sister Jayne late today.

How did your day go? It has been a pretty good one here today.

Chris and I watched to horror movies on one of the streaming channels. We loved them both.

I got quite a bit of rest today and I have to tell you I needed it. I am still having some pain on my left heel, but it is much better than it was.

My playmate prepared Tamales, cottage cheese, salsa, and baby carrots for dinner. It was very good. We watched "Criminal Minds" the 16th season on "Paramount Plus". It is a good series. And Chris liked it too!

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is watching TV and enjoying his supplemental drip. I will give him some avocado later. My shorty is in the main house on her Mac and listening to the TV.

Here is the rock that was put out in the hood today. I will start a new one tomorrow if time allows.

24 JAN IN THE HOOD

Tomorrow is Chef's Day. My Sous Chef and I will hook up some Deep-Fried Catfish and fries for dinner. My Sous Chef will select a choice libation to go along with the meal.

I will start a new rock today if time permits. I am using the rocks that our daughter Kim and family got for us.

I will be checking Chris's dressing this in a bit. Hopefully it will continue to improve.

How was your day? It has been a very busy one for me today, but I got through it. My (fidanzata) was worried about me this morning. She contacted me to see if I was doing OK. I texted her to let her know what was going on this morning and why I didn't greet her this morning. It is a very good feeling to know that you are missed.

I kept an eye on the caregiver today. I wanted to make sure that the dressing that I applied to Chris did not come off during her shift. It didn't. I took it off this evening and Mio Moglie took a look. It is doing better already. I will clean and re-dress it before Chris goes to sleep. I will continue to keep an eye on it tomorrow.

I have to tell you it was (fecking) cold here in the "Old Pueblo" today and we will be cold again tonight.

Well, there is no football to watch until this weekend. Go Chiefs!

My playmate prepared breakfast for dinner. We had "French Toast", link sausages, eggs and coffee. It was delicious.

I am caring for Chris tonight. He relaxed watching TV and downing his supplemental drip. I will give him some Vanilla pudding for dessert. Mio Moglie is in the main house watching the news on TV.

I will be keeping an eye on Chris today. He is developing a skin issue due to lack of proper cleaning. He has developed a small wound. I will be very aggressive with it to try to stop it. We don't want it to turn into a (decub).

We enjoyed a fantastic evening at the "Wild Garlic" with Mia Fidanzata e Capo Jim. The place was packed. The food was delicious, and the portions were gigantic. This was a victory dinner for Mia Moglie from a past bet and a gift for Mia Fidanzata e Capo Jim. We really do love spending time with them very much. Here are a couple of photos from last night. I am caring for Chris today up until when Sister Jayne arrives at 5:00pm. Alexa is awake, and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today, but it is going to be a (epic). She said that today is (football) Sabato. Go Chiefs!

This evening we are meeting up with Mia fidanzata e Capo Jim at the "Wild Garlic". It is going to be a very good evening. Hopefully I will not be busing tables and washing dishes tonight. It is a victory dinner for Mia Moglie because she won a sports bet awhile back and now it is time to pay the piper. So, I am sending out a request to my girlfriends to float me a (loan) if need be. I know they will not leave me hanging, right girlfriends?

My shorty and I enjoyed Happy Hour at La Parrilla Suiza last night. The margaritas were spot on. The service has taken a turn and we may look for another venue. 

The play at "Live Theatre Workshop" was fantastic. The title was " Stones in His Pockets". It was a two man play and they played many different roles. The acting was superb, and we recommend this one for sure.
