TGIF!

Good Morning!

Mood: Steadfast!

Music listening to: Emotion by The Bee-Gees

It's a TGIF! What's up? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave and she is not stirring about so she will not be getting up anytime soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is brewing and I have my jumbo cup at the ready. I think it is going to be one of those days. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris.

Elise and I will be meeting up with Jane and Papa John at Claim Jumper this evening for Happy Hour. We have not been to Claim Jumper in quite some time. Should be a fun evening.

Elise and I saw the movie "Pride" at the "Loft" yesterday and it is a very good movie. It shows what happens when the Gay community come to the aid of striking miners. Excellent movie!

Well, our calendar project is just about finished. You remember the one with the semi-nude pictures of our good friends and family members?

We will be taking the cover photo on Sunday at Jane and Papa John's home at 2:00pm. It will be a formal shot for the cover. We will also take a few other pics for the back page collage. I am pleased at the progress so far. Once the formal shot and the collage is complete it will be sent out for print. It has been a fun project.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great day and be careful out there.
Later.....Jessie and Elise

OMG!

OMG!

I forgot to mention that we had a very nice dinner out with my girlfriend (Lila). We enjoyed dinner at La Hacienda.

The food was excellent. Lila got a huge tostado, Elise enjoyed fish tacos, and I had a very tasty carnita. Elise and I tossed back a very good margarita.

We were watching the game while we enjoyed our dinner. OMG! How could forget to mention Lila.

Later....Jessie

Elise and Chris will be receiving a massage this morning from Pam. Well, as you can tell by my mood description that the "Royals" lost last night's game of the World Series. It was a very good series and a lot of fun to watch. Congrats Giants.

Now I have to take Elise out to dinner at "Sullivan's" in the near future. In the meantime I will be taking out a second mortgage, looking for a loan, or hitting the streets with a bucket of water and a sponge to clean windshields to pay for this dinner. Smile! Congrats Elise!
It cost almost $25.00 for a salad at "Sullivan's". Can you feel me? Please do! You can imagine the cost of the entree.

Elise and I will hit up the movies today to see "Pride" at the Loft. We saw the previews and it looked very good. Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great day and stay healthy.

Good Night!

Good Night!

Well, how has your day been? It has been a pretty busy day for me this morning. I ran a couple of errands, did some yard work along the front curb area, and watered a few plants. Whew?

Elise prepared "Ramen" for me and a gluten free rice macaroni and cheese for herself. We watched " In Plain Sight" on "Netflix" with Chris. He enjoyed the two episodes that we watched.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in her office on her desktop. Elise will be leaving shortly for the "Tucson Women's Chorus practice.

I will be packing a small suitcase for my flight out to Kansas City. I will be on standby to pitch for the Royals.I will meet up with my brother Herman who will be taking on the catcher's duty. We will be making sure that our Royals win and tie up the series. If not I will have to take Elise to Sullivan's Steakhouse for a victory dinner. This place will require me to take out a loan to pay for her meal. I will just have bread and water, smile! Go Royals!

Have a good night and sleep well.
Cheers....Jessie and Elise

Tiger, Marcie, Jet sleep well. Marcie you are in my thoughts.

Loraine, look for me on the field tomorrow.

It's A Monday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Cranky!

Music listening to: Hold On by Santana

It's a Monday! Beware! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is so deep in her cave this morning that she didn't hear the the alarm clock blasting away in her office. I heard it in Chris's house, so I went over and I shut it off. Wow, and no boinking was involved, smile!

The coffee is good and I am thinking about scrambled eggs for some reason. Chris is being very vocal this morning for some reason. Any plans for today?

I have nothing planned for today so I am going to try to take it slow and easy but it is a Monday!

Well, my Royals let me down with a loss to the Giants last night. My brother Herman and I have our standby tickets for the next game. Once again I will be pitching and Herman will be catching and making the pitch selections. We have got to tie this series up. Go Royals. Elise is on cloud nine with a fork and steak knife in here hand. I have got to stop that for sure. Do they serve steak at Burger King? Smile!

Elise and I saw the movie "St. Vincent". This is an excellent movie and it lives up to it's four star rating. Bill Murray is exceptional. We recommend this one.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great day and enjoy.
Later...Jessie and Elise

SUP?

SUP?

We are back from having a good breakfast at the "Egg Connection. Elise and I (Paid It Forward) this morning at breakfast. We bought breakfast for an elderly couple without them knowing it. It is a very good feeling to be able to do that for someone. We have been blessed and we have a good life and it is a way to share it with someone else.

Elise is caring for Chris and I am doing a little yard work behind Chris's house, and I am weeding out the front flower bed. You would think that I learned my lesson from yesterday with being so sore from trimming the hedge and the Ivy. I am going to pay for it for sure, right?

I also went to Walgreen's to have some photos printed for our annual family Christmas cards. I will pick them up at around noon today.

Looking forward to the World Series Game today. My brother and I are on standby just in case we are needed for game six. Go Royals! With my pitching skills and his catcher skills and pitch selection it will be another win for the Royals.

We hope that your day is going well so far? Enjoy and be safe, sound and happy.

Cheers........Jessie and Elise

Hello!

Hello!

Well here is the last bit of info about our trip to Rocky Point. We had such a good time and we are hoping to return soon for more sea, sand, shrimp, scallops, cervesas, and good friends.

Again Elise and I thank Bucky and Dena for giving us the chance to stay at "Casa di Dena".

19 Oct

We all got up at about 6:30am. Marv and Bobby were on the upstairs balcony drinking coffee, enjoying a smoke, and looking out at the water and the sunrise.

Elise and I sat on the patio and enjoyed our coffee as we watched the Pelican patrol's fly by.  We also watched the dolphins go by jumping in and out of the water.

It is now about 8:00am. We all got together to start our clean up of "Casa di Dena". After the clean up we packed up our suitcases and we took a last look at the water. It has been a wonderful trip! We got to know Marv and Rosie much better. We all just click together! Such a great group of people! We locked up and we are on our way back to Tucson.

Good Morning!

Mood: Sore! Boinked!

Music listening to: Where Is The Love by Donny Hathaway

It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am getting Chris settled for Elise. Elise is at the entrance to her cave this morning so she will be up soon to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is freshly brewed from freshly ground beans. Ahhhh! Elise and I are going to "The Egg Connection" for breakfast this morning. We have missed going over the last weeks.

Elise and I enjoyed our dinner last night at "Cody's Beef and Bean" the food was excellent. We were not joined by Eddie due to he was exhausted from working all of last week.

Well, our "Wildcats" played very well and they pounced on Washington State. Go Cats! On a sadder note my "Royals" got beat badly by "Giants". Now they are tied two games apiece but this going to change today in favor of the "Royals". My brother Herman and I are polishing up our cleats to play in the next game. Last night's game made me drop my steak knife and fork. I was polishing them up for my victory. I tossed a bottle of A1 sauce into the trash because of the loss. Elise is smiling big time don't you know?

Elise and I are going to go to the movies this evening. I think it is strategy on her part to keep my mind off the game, smile!

Well, I had better get myself a second cup of coffee. Have a great Sunday and enjoy.
Later....Jessie and Elise

Loraine, how are you?

Mary and Bob, enjoy the day.

It's the Weekend! Sup? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave but she is stirring about so she may be hitting the floor soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

The coffee is delicious and working well this morning. I will slice up an apple to go along with it. Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosemary will be here this evening.

Hey,how about those Royals! They are up two games to one. I can taste that rib eye steak right now, Elise. Oh Yeah! We are going to watch our Wildcats play football today and we will switch back an forth to watch the World Series game four. Get it done Royals!

Elise and I had a very nice time at "La Parrilla Suiza" for a light dinner and several Jack's. We watched the game there while we chatted with Chuck the bartender.

The play "9 Parts of Desire" at the Live Theater Workshop was excellent. Wow, what an enlightening presentation that keep us at awe, and amazement. We give this on 4 stars.

I have to run a few errands this morning while Bobby is here caring for Chris. I need to gas up the Fiat 500L as well. We are going out for dinner this evening at "Cody's Beef and Bean". Can you say T-Bone special? We will for sure with a carafe of room temperature Burgundy. We will be joined by Eddie for dinner.

Evening!

Howdy!

Hey, how are things going? Well, I over did it with the yard work and I am paying for it right now. Sore as can be, tired, in need of some sleep, need to be boinked, and I could use a nice cold birra, smile! Not necessarily in that order. Can you feel me?

18 Oct

We popped up at 6:30am to the sound of voices in the kitchen. Marv and Rosie were up already brewing a pot of coffee.

Elise and I got up and I started to cook up some extra thick bacon and link sausages. After they were done Elise and I went for a walk on the beach. It is very hot this morning. We started the walk at 8:00am and we ended it at 8:50am. Sweat was pouring down our faces.

We all joined up for breakfast. Along with the bacon and sausages Elise prepared scrambled eggs with Mexican cheese, jalapenos, salsa, toast and a sweet, sweet cantaloupe. It was delicious!

After breakfast we loaded up the Mazda and I drove us into town to the tourist area. We shopped on the wharf. Elise and I bought Rocky Point tee-shirts and some vanilla. Bobby bought a elephant figure. Marv bought some vanilla as well. Rosie bought jewelry, and a set of mugs with a hanger. We also bought some scallops for dinner. The vendors were more than willing to bargain.

We returned to "Casa di Dena" and we had lunch. We had chips, dips, salad and lunch meat. Of course Elise and I had a beer or two. Refreshing!

It is now 4:00pm. Marv is getting a massage from a woman who trolls the beach (lugging her own massage table). Elise and I went to the grocery store to buy some trash bags, jalapenos, and some black beans for Marv.

We returned to "Casa di Dena" and Elise got a massage. Marv treated her to it. Very nice! Elise enjoyed it because it was right out on the patio in the sun.

Later we played a game of "Wizard". Of course Elise won. Rosie never played before but she caught on quickly and she did well.  While we were playing Elise thought about how we were all brought together. The answer is "Chris". Marv answered the question. We all agreed that "Chris is awesome.

It was getting time to prepare dinner. We all helped out in the kitchen with the guidance of Chef Marv. We enjoyed shrimp scampi, beans, quinoa, salad and tons of guacamole. Of course the reds and whites were in abundance.

Rosie returned with her friend Jane Hartwell, they joined us for dinner on the patio by candle light and the sounds of the waves.

After dinner we played board games and card games and we laughed ourselves silly. A fun evening was has by all. We called it a night and Rosie and Jane left for the hotel on the beach.  The rest of us cleaned up the kitchen and it was light out.

I have a couple of errands to run this morning. Elise and I purchased a Eclipse Sun Shade for our Fiat 500L and we had it installed on the spot.

Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris. We are going to "La Parilla Suiza" for a light dinner and cocktails. What Up?

What's Up?
Are you awake yet? If not let's get hot! Smile!

Here is a bit more about our trip to Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Enjoy!

Oct 17th

I woke up at about 5:30am. I put on a fresh pot of coffee. Elise got up at 6:30am. Everyone else got up shortly after except Rosie she has been up since 4:00pm.

Elise and I took a walk on the beach for about 50 minutes or so. After we returned to "Casa di Dena" we gathered everyone together and we crammed into Bobby's plucky little Mazda to go grocery shopping in town.

We got lost but we found our way to the Ley. On our way Bobby did not notice a speed bump and we went over it fast and I hit the top of my head on the ceiling of the car. I was sitting in the back seat next to Elise and Rosie. I had my Jamaica hat on but I still ended up with a cut on the top of my head that opened up and began to bleed and swell. I was fine except I had a vicious headache.

We got our grocery shopping done and we headed back to "Casa di Dena". Elise immediately attended to my injury. She cleaned me up and she applied an anti- bi on the area. My head was hurting really bad. I kept an eye out for blurred vision, dizziness and I checked my eyes every now and again. Bobby was beside himself but I assured him that I was fine and not to stress about it, but he did.

Elise fixed me sandwich and Ramen. She has some chips and a gluten free beer. Marv and Bobby has a glass of vino. Later Marv, Elise, Bobby and Rosie went to the Mexican version of Wal-mart. Rosie bought some tennis shoes, Elise bought some undies due to she forgot to pack some. They also bought water and Tylenol for me and my headache.

They return home and Rosie, Bobby and Marv, hit the water to swim. Elise and I did not. Elise and I sat on the patio and rested. Elise read her Kindle and I took photos of the swimmers.

Earlier we placed the two rugs out on the patio due to about a week ago it rained about 20 inches and some of the rain flooded the house in places. it is going to take awhile for the rugs to dry in the sun.

Bobby, Marv and Rosie came out of the water. Marv came up on the patio and Bobby and Rosie are on the beach sunning. I took several pictures of the sun bathers and the neighbors enjoyed it because Bobby and Rosie did not have a clue that I was taking them. So much fun.

Well, it is time to get dinner started. Marv is a chef and he got the pots and pans steaming. Bob and Rosie were back in the house but Bobby was out for the count, (asleep and maybe too much libation). Smile!

Marv prepared shrimp in  cream sauce, salad and the black beans that were given to us by Paula and Marty to try. It was all good. Marv took a slight fall in the cucina due to his hip popped out of place. It was due to an accident he had many years ago. Marv recovered and we enjoyed the rest of the evening. Another fantastic day at "Casa di Dena".

JT, what are your vacation plans?

Oct 16

We started the day really early at 6:00am. We packed up the Tacoma and we double checked our travel lists. Angelica is caring for Chris while we are away in Mexico.

We met up with Bobby and Marv for breakfast at "Gus Balones" and we talked out plans for our departure. After breakfast we hit the road for "Why, Arizona" . We met up with Rosemary at "Why" to gas up and to purchase Mexican insurance before we crossed the border.

We went through the border gate and Elise and I were stopped by the Federales. We were randomly picked for a vehicle inspection. So I had to open up the Tacoma bed so they could look around. Rosemary, Bobby and Marv waiting for us as we were leading the way. After the quick inspection we were on our way.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we stopped at the "DDC"  to pull a few slots. Yes , we did! We arrived at "Casa di Dena" at around 3:00pm.

We unloaded the "Tacoma" and Bobby, Marv, and Rosie unloaded as well. Bobby and Marv are sleeping upstairs, and Rosie is in the back bedroom. We occupy the master bedroom.

Bobby, Marv and Rosie are excited to be here and they marvel at the beach and so do Elise and I. We rest and take in a few snacks and cocktails. Their are quite a few people here on the beach.

Well, it is time to get our grub on. We all pile into Bobby's car and we head to town. We went to the "Point" for dinner in the Rocky Point Marina area.

The margaritas were fantastic. Bobby ordered a huge shrimp burrito, Marv ordered shrimp chimi's, Rosie and I order Flounder stuffed with shrimp and cheese with a caper sauce, Elise ordered a Mexican style shrimp cocktail and steamed clams. Elise got so many clams the it was unbelievable and they were delicious. We also shared a Queso Fundido with chorizo, mushrooms and peppers. The Fundido was served with flour tortillas and chips. Man those Cadillac Margaritas were good! Marv had a white wine. Rosie was the designated driver due to she doesn't drink. We are stuffed.

We stuffed ourselves back into Bobby's car and we head back to "Casa di Dena". Rosie took a wrong turn and she was going down a one way street. Cars were honking at us and we were screaming at her to turn around quickly and we made it home.

We sit out on the patio for a bit before we all call it a night in Mexico.
