Last day of the year, how is it going? All is well here in Central Tucson.

We watched a lot of football today. We dined on Black eyed pea and cornbread while we watched football tonight. Of course, we enjoyed some "Gruet" with our meal as well. Delicious!

I am caring for Chris this evening so Sister Jayne could spend time with her sister. I will be caring for Chris tomorrow as well. Chris is in his house right now. He is watching football and enjoying his supplemental drip.

I will do my usual thing on New Year's Day. I will put feet to the floor, and I will walk out of the backdoor and come back into the house via the front door. I will be taking the old year out and bringing in the New Year. Silly, right? It is me being me.

We want to wish our family and friends a very Happy New Year. May it be a damn site better than the old one.

I am in the (cucina) filling in until my shorty returns back home from a appointment. I am cooking and watching football at the same time. So I have to get back into the main house to keep an eye on things.

Buon Venerdi!  TGIF!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Elise is at the entrance to her cave this morning so she will be putting feet to the floor soon to start her day. Any plans for this the last day of 2021?

The coffee is a good Kona Coast Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a rainy morning here in the "Old Pueblo" and I hope that it continues all day long.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some end of the year music for me.

My playmate and I are working on new rocks. Here are some of the rocks we put out in the hood. Enjoy!

We went to the movies yesterday to see the "American Underdog" it was pretty good. We dined on "Leo's takeaway last night dinner while we watched "How to Get Away with Murder" on Netflix.

Hey today's challenge word is (autotrasporti). I used it already in the music listening section of today's blog posting.  I will use it again in the comments section for my fidanzata to pick up on. The usage is a bit Old School, but I like Old School.

I finally got the Chef's Day photos sorted and I will post them later today. 

The bottle of champagne is chilling in the fridge and the Black-eyed Peas are soaking so they will be ready for cooking. My Sous Chef will be taking charge of the (cucina) today.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. Woo Hoo! I asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz" for me today.

My shorty and I are going to "Pastiche" this morning for (colazione). Normally we would hit up "Gus Balones", but it is closed until the 5th of January.

Hey, Chefs Day was fantastic yesterday. We were so stuffed that we didn't have any room for dessert. We shared dinner with Sister Jayne. My playmate and I will last night's dessert this evening with some Dairy Queen Soft Serve.  We will be dining on "Leo's " take-away this evening. I am having a puter issue with photos, but as soon as I get it corrected, I will post the Chefs Day pictures.

My shorty and I will be hitting up a movie at El Con Mall today. Yesterday we saw the movie "Licorice Pizza" it was different but good.

The coffee is a good Jamaican Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. Hey, we got some (pioggia) during the night. I hope that we get more during the day.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that it is going to be a busy Humper today. I asked her to play some "Funk Jazz" for me today.

Today is Chefs Day and my Sous Chef and I will be preparing "Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan" with "Scalloped Potatoes", "Sweet Peas", and for dessert "Caramel Apple Tartlets". I know your stomach is started to rumble, right? My Sous Chef will select a nice libation to accompany dinner and her "Caramel Apple Tartlets". Woo-hoo!

We are going hit up a movie this afternoon at Park Place. We will be working on rocks as well and we will drop a few in the hood.

We are planning a staycation for mid-January.  Will be using our perks for a couple of night stays at "Casino Del Sol". Hopefully we can start the New Year off with some "Cha Ching's", eh?

Has it been a good day for you? It has been a busy one for me today, but I got through it.

My playmate prepared breakfast for dinner. We had homemade pancakes, sausages, eggs and plenty of coffee to get all down. We watched "How to Get Away with Murder" on Netflix. Chris watched with us. We had a very hard time getting away from watching the series this evening.

I am caring for Chris tonight and my shorty is in the main house watching the news and working on a new rock. I will start a new one tomorrow. Here are our latest creations and what I picked up at the Cortez location. Enjoy!

Hopefully the caregiver will show up this morning, if not it is going to be another long day. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks to complete that I didn't get to do yesterday. I asked here to play some "Boney" for me today because I am feeling very antsy and out of sorts.

My shorty and I have finished our latest rock creations. I will post them later today. I am sure that we will start new ones soon.

How are you doing this evening?  It has been a very busy day for me due to no caregiver today. Hopefully she will show up tomorrow.

My playmate prepared soup, tamales, baby carrots, and crackers for dinner. We watched "How to Get Away with Murder" on Netflix with Chris.

I am caring for Chris tonight and Elise is in the main house doing some paperwork and watching the Monday Night Football. Chris just gobbled up a nice pear. He too is watching football and enjoying his supplemental drip.

I am almost finished with my new rock. My shorty is still working on hers.

My fun thing for today was working on my 2022 trip and staycation calendar. I feel like I need to plan better for the new year. I am feeling a bit concerned about the future. It's just me, smile!

Jackie will not be here this morning to care for Chris, she called in sick. So, I will care for Chris today. Chris and Elise will be receiving a massage from Rosemarie today. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to completed today. Woo Hoo!  I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.

We enjoyed watching football yesterday. My playmate's team the "Chiefs" won big time. We were visited by Bucky and Dena yesterday evening, and it is always good to spend time them and Chris was happy to see them as well.

Sister Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have to make a run over on the eastside this morning. I also will be doing my usual Domenica tasks as well.

My playmate is working on a new rock, and I will start a new one soon. My shorty has a very bad cold and she has had it for a couple of days. I too have a slight cold as well, so we are being very cautious.

How was your Christmas? We had a very nice one here and in Bisbee. I will post pictures as soon as I go through them. Our Christmas dinner was fantastic and oh so good. I gave the chef a double thumbs up for this meal. A huge shoutout to my fidanzata and Capo Jim.

The coffee is a good Light Roast, and a second cup will be enjoyed at "Gus Balones" along with a good breakfast. It is a mild morning here in the valley of Tucson.

I got a early start this morning so I could make sure that I have everything that I need in my suitcase. Also my knee is hurting this morning.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I need to gas up the Tacoma prior to our trip to Bisbee.

We hope that Sister Jayne is feeling better this morning. She got her flu shot and booster and it took her for a loop.

We hope that you are feeling, OK? We enjoyed a fantastic evening with Bucky and Dena. It was so good to see them as always. We got caught up on the latest news within the family. We dined on a wonderful meal that was 5 stars. Thank you, Bucky and Dena, for a grand time. Merry Christmas!

Tomorrow the suitcase's will come out to be packed for our staycation in Bisbee with the family that starts on Thursday and ends on Friday. Hopefully all will go well, but I am having some inklings about it already.

Sister Jayne received her booster and flu shot this morning and she is feeling it. Well, I had better check on Chris and check on the football game score. Go Seattle!

My playmate and I are working on new rocks. We will be making our way to Bisbee on Thursday for Christmas and Elise's birthday celebration. So, suitcases will be coming out again. We are going to stay at the "Schoolhouse B&B".

How did your day go? It has been a busy one for me today and tomorrow will be a repeat.

JT, finally received his Christmas gift from Elise and I today. It had been lost for two days. We were visited by my girlfriend (Shoo Shoo) this evening. It is always a pleasure to see her, and Chris was glad to see her as well.

My playmate prepared Chilli for dinner and it was very good. We watched "How to Get Away with Murder" on Netflix with Chris.

Speaking of Chris, I am caring for him tonight. He is enjoying his supplemental drip and he is watching Monday Night Football. He also enjoyed a little bit of Banana Cream Pie for dessert.

Tomorrow I will start a new rock along with Elise. I will be taking Sister Jayne to get her Booster and Flu shots in the morning.

Today is going to be a day filled with football games. We will be sitting in front of the TV with Chris for sure.

I have to tell you that our staycation was a good one. We got plenty of sleep and we really did overeat. Yes, we did!  We played video games for hours. We hit up three movies to include seeing "The Power of the Dog" for the second time. This is a movie that you must see twice to get the real plot to it. It is excellent. I am curious to know what my fidanzata thought about it. We also saw "Encanto" and "Nightmare Alley". All were very good. The acting in "Nightmare Alley" was superb.
