Music listening to: Past The Point Of No Return

     TGIF!! How are you? I started the day off at 4:55am caring for Chris. Elise is partly in her cave this morning and I bet that she will not be popping up soon. Any plans for today?

     I just finished my workout on the treadmill and I guess I stressed out the digital display this morning because it quit on me and it started to beep. It was telling me that the batteries needed to be replaced in the display. I thought the pace that I was going at had done it in, smile.

     The coffee is good and I am going to have a glass of instant breakfast. It is a nice 78 degrees right but that is going to change quickly. We still need some more rain though.

     We saw the movie "The Watch" yesterday afternoon and it was pretty good. As a matter of better than what we expected. Elise prepared a nice dinner last night. We had cheese crisps, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes,salsa mild and very hot, and plenty of beers to wash it all down.

     We watched the DVD that I won at "The Melting Pot" it was titled "Lucky One" and it was very good. We missed seeing it when it was in the theater. We lent it to Rosie so she could see it at home.

      It was a very good evening! Elise hit the sheets to read and I worked on a crossword puzzle and watched TV until Rosie left for the night. I checked on Chris and I called it a day. I had to give Elise a nudge to get her rolling this morning. What's up with that?

      Elise and I are going to "Cody's Beef and Bean" this evening for dinner after Marv arrives to care for Chris. We hope that your Friday will be a good and safe one.

     It's a Thirsty Thursday! Sup? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning but she has a good replica of the Leaning Tower of Pillows going on though. She will be up and headed for the gym shortly. Any plans for today?

     I have to get ready to head our for the lab to get some routine blood work done. This fasting is for the birds, eh?  I need my coffee and I cannot have any until I return. I may have to stop of at Mickey D's for a cup on the way back home.

     Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. Chris and Elise will be getting a massage this morning from Donna. We are going to the movies today to see "The Watch" at Crossroads.

    Well, I had better get a move on. Have a good day and remember that tomorrow is TGIF!

How was your day? I go my errands taken care early this morning, not to long after my treadmill workout. Whew!

It has been a good Hump Day I must say, but I am still being cautious. Elise's puter bit the dust a few days ago and she really have been missing it. We hope to hear about what the problem is soon.

In the meantime I went out and I bought her a new one and now she is very happy, so that makes me happy too!

Elise prepared breakfast for dinner this evening. We had crisp bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast and hot coffee. We watched a DVD called "Country Strong" it was very good.

Elise is now checking her email and loading programs into her new computer. After Rosie leaves for the night I will check on Chris before I call it game over.

I have to get up early tomorrow to have some routine lab work done. Well, we hope that you Hump Day was a winner. Have a good night and a better tomorrow.

     Hump Day is here! What's sup? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning but I bet that she will not be getting up early this morning. Any plans for today?

     The coffee is very good this morning and I am looking at a second cup already. I am caring for Chris until Rosie arrives at 1:00pm today.

      The reason Elise will not be getting up early this morning is due to our evening at "The Melting Pot". We had a great evening there last night with Bobby. We ate like piglets!

      If you have never tried "The Melting Pot" you are missing out on a treat, let me tell you. It  is a fondue restaurant and it is fantastic. The service and and the detail given to it's patrons are the best.

      Bobby got a box of chocolate covered strawberries as a gift for his birthday, and I won the drawing. I got a DVD titled "The Lucky One" it is one of the movies that we wanted to see but missed it when it was in the theaters. I have posted a few pics of our visit. They were taken with my cell phone so the quality is not the best.

     We don't have any plans for today as of yet but that can change quickly. Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good Hump Day and enjoy.

     It's a Tricky Tuesday! What's up? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is at the entrance to her cave this morning, that means that she is following me on placing her feet on the floor this morning. Any plans for today?

     I just got off of the Bow Flex and I am feeling good. The coffee is smelling good and I think I will have a glass of instant breakfast this morning. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris.

     Nothing planned for today except that we are going to the Melting Pot with Bobby this evening. Angelica will be here to care for Chris. We love the Melting Pot, they have the best fondue ever.

     Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great day and be careful out there.

The day has come to a close. How was yours? I got my errands taken care of and I pick up my class material for my next in-service.

Chris enjoyed the visit by his case manager, as a matter of fact he was flirting just a little bit too! It has been a peaceful day for a Monday that is.

Elise prepared corn on the cob for dinner, baby carrots, pickle, and baby potatoes. It was very good. I am caring for Chris and Elise just finished up checking her email. I am sure that she will be hitting the pillow to read for awhile.

Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a good night and a better tomorrow.

    I just got off of the treadmill and I am feeling pretty good. Chris will be visited by his case manager this afternoon. We had a very nice evening last night with Marv and Bobby.

Well, we closed the page on this day with a good note. It has been a restful sort of day indeed.

We watched a DVD with Chris this afternoon and we played a video game as well. Rosie arrived to care for Chris this evening.

Elise prepared some very good BLT's for dinner one of our favorite meals. We spent the rest of the evening playing "Wizard" with Bobby and Marv. 

What a good time we all had. As a matter of fact I even won a hand of "Wizard", yes the master is back and looking good. This was the first time Marv had played it and he caught on quickly and he did very well.

As we played we snacked on some freshly popped popcorn, we had cashews, and plenty of red and white wine, and some margaritas for Bobby. Marv is one of the caregivers who has taken care of Chris for years. It was good to see him relaxed and let it all hang out. We hope to do this again in the near future.We ended the evening by toasting with a shot of Sambuca with whole coffee beans for good luck.

After the evening ended I checked on Chris for the night and Elise has hit the sheets to read. I will follow her lead very soon. We hope that your day was a good one too?

     It's a Sunday morning! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:35am this morning. Yes, I said 5:35am,what's up with that? I can explain it though. Elise not in her cave this morning so she will be up soon to care for Chris.
Any plans for today?

     We are meeting up with Paula and Marty this morning for breakfast over on Miracle Mile. We had a very nice breakfast at Monterrey Village. The food was very good and there are many small shops all around it. Thank you Paula and Marty for starting our day off a good note.

     We had a great evening last night at "Rios" with Loraine, Jim and Bobby. The food was great and what an evening of friendship. After dinner we all met up at our home for a game of "Wizard". We had had Sangria, vino bianco, margaritas, and a dessert that Elise made that was to die for.

     We were sure that Bobby was going to win the game "Wizard" but that was not the case it was Jim who was the "Wizard". It was a great evening. The reason I got up so late was because I think I made to margaritas too well and it hit me during my sleep time. That is my story and I am sticking to it. Thank you Loraine, Jim, and Bobby for a great night.

     We will be hosting another game of "Wizard" this evening. We will be joined by Bobby and Marv. Of course the vino will be available for all. Rosie will be here this evening to care for Chris.

      Well, I had better get busy and get a few things done that I usually do on Sunday's while Elise is caring for Chris. The above pictures are of us at "Rios" last light.

      Oh Yeah! Now I fill justified now that Prince Harry has been seen getting about without his  knickers. So if the Prince can do it , so can I. Right Jane and Loraine?

It's The Weekend!

   It's the Weekend! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave and she is up and out at the  pool this morning. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and I am thinking about a slice of toast or two. John will be here this morning to care for Chris and he will be here this evening as well. Rosie asked for the day off to attend a birthday party.

   This evening we are going to hook up with Jim, Loraine, and Bobby at "Rios". We have not been there in a while. After dinner we are going to return to our house for cocktails and a rousing game of "Wizard". Loraine and Jim lookout because you are going down!

   Our staycation was a short one but it was very,very relaxing. We enjoyed our Jack and Cokes don't you know? We went to a couple of movies, played video games for hours, attended the social hour in the hotel lobby, and we enjoyed our tuna jalapeno dip with Frito's. 

   We topped the evening off by meeting for happy hour with Jane and John and Bobby at McMahans Prime Rib and Steakhouse. We had a very nice time and we enjoyed sitting at the the piano bar listening to some great live music. Again we want to thank my brother Herman for making this staycation a good one.

    Hump Day is here! I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning, so she may not be springing to life early this morning. Any plans for today?

   I just finished my workout on the treadmill and I there is Elise heading out for a walk. My workout has got me feeling good and hungry right now.

   The coffee is good this morning. We are going to go out for breakfast with Bobby this morning. We will visit "Gus Balones" on the east side of Tucson.They serve up some good breakfast and I am all set to dig in.

   Bobby will be caring for Chris while we are away on our stay-cation. It is a nice 72 degrees right now but you know that is going to change. We have another chance of more rain today and that is a plus.

   Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good Hump Day and stay safe.

Well, the day is over and it has been a good one.  
How was yours? Elise prepared breakfast for dinner this evening.

We had blueberry pancakes, sausages, eggs, and plenty of coffee. It was delicious. We watched a few episodes of Sherlock Holmes with Chris, he loves it and so do.

I cared for Chris this evening and Elise checked her email and she worked on her Genealogy. We are all packed for our stay-cation that starts tomorrow. We are looking forward to it. We will have our laptop with us so we can play games and check our email.

We are being rained on right now and it feels good. Yes, again I put on my flip flops and nothing else and took a quick run in the rain with the dogs. Very refreshing, Jane and Loraine. I was in the backyard when a flash of lightening and a huge clap of thunder forced me back inside, smile!

Hello!

Well, I am back from running my errands, and now I am starving for some reason or other, smile! I think I will grill myself an Italian sausage, yes I will.

I gassed up the Kia, picked up a few bottles from the liquor store, paid a bill, and replaced some immersion software that disappeared.

It is starting to heat up here in Tucson and we have 40% chance of rain today. Elise is out playing bridge, but when she returns we will get packed for our stay-cation.

Well, had better go and get my sausage to grilling.

      I just completed by Bow Flex workout and I am feeling good. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. 

     The coffee is good and  I am thinking about a small danish to go along with it or a glass of instant breakfast. A real problem, eh?

     I have to run a couple of errands this morning. I have to go out on the airbase to pickup a few from the liquor store, smile!

    Elise and I will be packing up our suitcase for our stay-cation that starts tomorrow. We will be at the Residence Inn here in Tucson for a couple of days. Bobby will be caring for Chris will we are away. I will be making my famous tuna jalapeno dip this evening to take along with us. Of course we will be accompanied by Jack Daniels on this stay-cation. As a matter of fact he goes with us just about everywhere we go,smile!

    Well, we are still hoping for rain today, so I can meet up with Jane and Loraine so we can dash through the raindrops at a speed so fast that we would be unnoticed by anyone, smile!

Well, the day has finally come to a close, Whew! It is cloudy right now and we have a wind picking up with a few Thunder boomers. I bet it just passes us by, too bad.

Elise prepared a very nice dinner this evening. We had corn on the cob, baby carrots, salad, and little boiled potatoes. It was very good.

Elise is checking her email and I am caring for Chris. I am glad that things have calmed down since this morning.

A True Monday!!!!!

Howdy!

Well, it is a true Monday. I was informed this morning by Elise that the fridge in the main house was not cooling. First thing that popped into my mind was " Hey we just had that fixed less than two months ago"

Elise called to have the same company to come out to have a look. The repairman arrived and he looked at the problem. He checked the work  of the previous repairman and the parts he installed were working just fine. The rest is history, Monday history.

Now there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced. So I had him to fix it. Well, to the tune of $235.00 the repairs were made. That tune did not have me tapping my feet or shaking my groove thang! The alternative was to purchase a new fridge and all of a sudden the repair made sense. So I did do a finger pop or two, smile!

Yes sir nothing like a true Monday! I need a Mojito or three.

     It's a Monday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is purring big time this morning and she is not in here cave. So she will be up and out very soon. Any plans for today?

     I haven't had any coffee yet because I just got off of the treadmill and it is kicking butt this morning. Sweat is pouring, but I am feeling good and energized. Where is that coffee?

     I have not plans for today as of yet and that is a good thing,but it can change at any moment. We got some rain last night with a spectacular lightening show. The weatherman says that more is on the way today. We shall see won't we?

     We had a fantastic evening hosted by Shoo and Stu. I have to tell you they presented a spread that was fit for royalty. Wow,was it good!

     They evening's guest were Elise,myself, Bobby, Becky, Sylvia, Jane, John, and Marilyn. The vino was flowing like one of our washes during the monsoon. The giggles,guffaws, and jokes were priceless.

     We played a rousing game of " Apples to Apples" and the answers to the questions were hilarious. It was a lot of fun and to my surprise I one, yes I won. WooHoo! Again we would like to thank Shoo and Stu for a very nice evening of fun, good food, and friends.
