TGIF!

Good Morning!

Mood: Content! Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Music listening to: Groove Is In The House!

TGIF! How are you?  I stated the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning bug she will be up very soon to start her day. Jayne is here caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee just finished brewing and a second cup will be enjoyed for sure. It is going to be another hot on here in Tucson today, but middle of next week we are going to take a plunge.

I just glanced at my To Do List and I have a few tasks to take care of today. First of all we will be taking the Tacoma in for routine service this morning. We will be driving it next week when we head to Mexico for a few days stay on the beach. This evening we are going to "Cody's Beef and Bean" for dinner. Can you say T-bone special? We will and of course we will enjoy a nice carafe of Burgundy at room temperature.

My shorty and I enjoyed a very nice dinner last night at "Caffe Milano",Trattoria Paninoteca. The food was very, very good let me tell you. We started of with a nice bottle of Chianti SF that was very good. We split a spinach salad that was quite large. For the appetizer we enjoyed "Cozze Diavola" (black mussels in a tomato based sauce). It was delicious and we even dipped our bread into the sauce to get every drop. Our entree was "Spaghetti Salsiccia" spaghetti with a meat sauce loaded with mushrooms (Funghi). Man that was so good and plentiful. We had to bring some home with us. We were stuffed and we had no room for dessert, but we ordered two glasses of (Sambuca) with coffee beans. Oh my goodness that is so good. We had to sit a bit before we even tried to get up to walk. Sambuca is liquor that is a digestive and it takes away that full feeling that you have after a good meal so you can eat more. It's an Italian thang! Smile! We recommend "Caffe Milano" for sure.

After our feast we made our way to the "Fox Theater" right next door, smile! We got our tickets and we headed inside to locate our seats. We had great seats right up front. My shorty did a great job of seat selection. We were there to see "Ricky Jones" who opened the concert. Ricky and her band were very good. The headliner was "Madeline Peyroux". We love her and her band. We have all of her CD's. She is a soulful, blues pounding singer that will have you snapping your fingers, clapping your hands, and you will be out of your seat shaking your groove thang! Excellent show and she deserved the standing ovation that she and the band received. We will always go to see her when she is in town. We purchased her new CD last night and I will put it on a SD stick so I can listen to her in the car.

Tomorrow is going to be another busy day for us as well. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris. Have a wonderful TGIF! Stay safe, happy and be blessed.

Ciao......Jessie and Elise
