Music listening to: Is It Good To You by Heavy D
It's Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be on the go soon. Any plans for today?
I will put the kettle on shortly. Jayne is here in Do Drop Inn room #1. It is a mild morning here in Tucson and the winds have died down. I just looked at my To Do List and it shows that I have no tasks to complete today. A rarity for sure for me, but tomorrow is a different story. Smile!
We enjoyed a wonderful evening with Shoo Shoo. We met up here and we headed for the "Cup" downtown for dinner. It is a good thing that we made a reservation because the "Cup" was all booked up to include the patio area. Paula and Marty were there but since the "Cup" was booked they could not be seated. It was good to see them though.
We enjoyed a nice vino named "Simply Red" and it was very good for a 13.5%. Elise ordered some stuffed dates in a sauce with chorizo and it was very good. Elise and I shared her Winter Salad with chicken. Shoo Shoo enjoyed her Winter Salad with trout. She shared it and it was very good too. I ordered Pork Schnitzel with spätzle, sauteed greens, wine soaked raisins, leeks, mushroomed beurre blanc and fried capers. I cleaned my plate but I did share with Elise and Shoo. After dinner we enjoyed coffee and since the lemon pie was not available Elise ordered a lemon parfait that was very, very good. What a good feast!
We strolled over to the Tucson Music Hall to see "Bill Maher". The hall was packed to include the balcony. Bill was in true form and he hit all of his usual stuff and he was really heavy on what is going on today. He was hilarious and he really deserved the standing ovation that he received. My playmate and I are looking forward to his next performance.
After the show we strolled over to the parking garage and we headed home. We said our good nights to Shoo and we requested that she let us know when she made it home. She did! A wonderful evening that we are sure that Shoo Shoo needed to put a break in her busy days.
We hope that your Monday will be a good productive one. Enjoy, stay safe, happy and healthy.
Here are few more pictures from our trip to the Bahamas.
Later...Jessie and Elise
