    It's Sunday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Yes, 4:45am I am back on track finally,smile. Elise is not in her cave this morning and I believe that she is back on track as well. 


     Yes, Elise is back on track too! She was over at Chris's house at 6:00am caring for Chris. Any plans for today? The coffee is good and fresh this morning, ahhhhh!


     We are going out for breakfast this morning at the Egg Connection, we have missed going there. We have to be back home before 10:00am because a handyman is coming by to do a little woodwork in the kitchen and he is going to install a ceiling fan in the dining area as well.


     We got about 15 drops of rain last night just enough to dirty up the cars. Bobby cared for Chris last night due to Rosie asked for the evening off. We watched a few more episodes of "Breaking Bad" last night while we consumed BLT's for dinner. We got it all down with vodka tonics, delicious.


     We are meeting up this evening with Paula, Marty, Shoo and Stu for dinner at Zemams Ethiopian restaurant. It should be a fun evening.Guess what? We are getting another 15 drops of rain right now, smile!


    Well, I had better get busy. Have a great Sunday and beware tomorrow is Monday. As promised here is a bit about our first day on our trip Nice, France.

Trip to Nice, France

We left home at around 1:00pm. Angelica arrived to care for Chris. She will be followed by Rosie, John, and Bobby. We have full coverage while we are away and Bobby is the backup for all.


We arrived at the Marriott Springhill Suites Tempe/Airport at around 3:00pm. We checked into our room and I contacted my brother Herman to thank him and let him know that we were all checked in. Herman always gets us good rates at Marriott properties and we really do appreciate it very much. We will be returning to this Marriott on the 31st when we return from France. We will be leaving the Tacoma here instead of having to pay airport parking fees while we are away, a big savings there let me tell you.


We relaxed for a bit and we had a few Jack and Cokes with popcorn before we went out for dinner. Elise contacted Sara and Jesse so we could meet up for dinner. We decided to meet up at "Zeta's" in Tempe at 5:30pm. Elise and I arrived at "Zeta's early and we were on our first margarita, you should have know that, right?


Sara and Jesse arrived and it was good to see them. We had a very nice time listening and catching up on all of the happenings. The food was very good and we were there at Happy Hour time and that made us real happy, smile! The conversation and the margaritas flowed for about two hours before we called it a night.


We returned to our room and we downed a few more Jack and Cokes before we called game over. It has been a good first day on our way to Nice, France.
