Buona Sera!

How was your day? It has been a fairly good day here in Tucson. We just got some very good news a few minutes ago. Sister Jayne has been admitted to TMC. She needs to have surgery done, for an aneurism blockage in her aorta.

Wonderful news for her and us. It will mean like we posted that we will be home bound for a while. So, I will be taking over her shifts until she is able to return to work. I am caring for Chris tonight. He is watching the championship game on TV and downing his supplemental drip.

My shorty is in the main house watching the game as well. I will give Chris a light dinner in a bit. I started a new rock for Easter today.

Here is what happened on 30 Mar on our San Diego get away!

We started the day off at 7:30am. We slept very well, and we got 8 hours of sleep. That is unheard of for us. We got dressed and we went to breakfast. It is a cold 48 degrees and a light rain is falling. Nothing opened until 9:00am so we walked around until places started to open. We stopped into Old Town Cafe. Elise had Divorced Eggs and I had pancakes and sausages. We had plenty of coffee to get it all down.

After breakfast we shopped at one of the stores. We bought San Diego sweatshirts. We returned to our room to rest up a bit. After resting we made our way to the movies. My playmate got upset with me because she didn't think my driving was good. I told her that she could drive from now on. She apologized for her comment because she was worried that we would not make the movie on time. I didn't deserve that at all. We saw the movie "Good Person". It starred Morgan Freeman and it was excellent.

After the movie we returned to hotel to rest up before we have dinner with Sharon and Tim. We heard on the TV that Trump had been indited. The first on criminal charges for a former President.

We met Tim and Sharon at the "Old Town Cafe" for dinner. We stayed there for two and a half ours. We enjoyed it very much. Good food, talk and margaritas. They are so much fun. Thank you, Sharon and Tim.

We returned to our room to rest, read and we called it a night.
