   Hello! How are you doing? We are good. Well, the DDC and Casino Del Sol was a total let down. Not only for us but for the Queen of Keno as well. No Cha Chings at all. So the deal between the Queen and I is limbo and it turned out to be a draw.

We had a good time though and the food was excellent. We met up with our daughter Kim and she is doing great. It was so good to see her. We are going to the movies this afternoon to see the movie "Genius" at the Loft. Bobby will be here this afternoon to take over for Jayne.  We will give more about our short stay-cation with pictures later.

  It's a Hump Day! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she will be on the move soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is good and I will have a small salad a little later. Well, we got rained on last night and more is on the way for this afternoon. We desert dwellers can always use some of the wet stuff. 

  I have to run a couple of errands this morning. Bobby will be here this morning and Jayne will be here this afternoon. Jayne will be caring for Chris while we are away on our overnight stay-cation at the DDC. We are looking forward to this stay-cation with Dottie (Queen of Keno) because today she will be dethroned by me. I will become the King of Keno. Yeah! We are going to have dinner at the PY Steakhouse in Casino Del Sol. We will be having the Prime Rib special. It is very, very good. So be listening for the Cha Ching! We are meeting up with our daughter Kim for breakfast on Thursday morning. It will be good to see her and here that latest goings on in her life.

How are you? We are doing well here in Central Tucson. It is still hot,muggy, and sticky. We though that we were going to be rained on but all we got was clouds and wind. Maybe tomorrow,eh?

Chris and I rested this afternoon. We watched TV and we were cracking wise with each other. It was a hoot! Sis I say hoot? Where did that come from?

We watched TV with Elise. We watched "In The Heat Of The Night" and "Blue Bloods". Elise has her suitcase packed for our stay-cation and I will pack mine this evening. The "Queen of Keno" has been on my case today. She is really putting on the pressure but I will not fall for it. Can you hear me Dottie? Cha Ching!

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is on her desktop in her office. We hope that your night will be a peaceful one. Get some sleep!

   It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be putting feet to the floor soon and making her way to the gym. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is good. I will have a small salad a little later. It is humid, muggy, and just plain sticky this morning. David will be here his morning to care for Chris.

   We will be deciding what to pack for our short overnight at the DDC. My suitcase is out and ready to be filled. We will be meeting up with my nemesis Dottie the Queen of Keno there. We are also going to have dinner at Casino Del Sol. They have a fantastic Prime Rib on Wednesday night. We will meet our daughter Kim for breakfast on Thursday morning. Hopefully we will hear the Cha Chings!

   I will be researching more today about our trip to Europe. I have no errands to run today so I will be a home body. Chris and I will watch TV this afternoon and once again we may people watch on the front porch for a bit..

How was your day? Well, we have not been rained on as of yet but we do have some wind kicking up. I was hoping for a little more rain so I could put on my flip flops again and coax my girlfriends to join me on a run in the all-together. Loraine and Jane where are you?

Chris and I relaxed this afternoon. I completed the photo book for the month of May finally. Now I need to purchase a binder for the month of June.

My playmate prepared corn on the cold, baby potatoes, cherry tomatoes, cottage cheese, and peppers for dinner. It was very good. We watched "Orange Is The New Black" with Chris and he loved it.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in her office on her desktop. I think I will have a slice of cherry pie that my shorty bought for me yesterday. Yeah that sounds good.

How are you doing so far on this Monday? I am good here but I could use a bit more sleep. I slept very well, but for some reason I need more.

I just got back from running my errands for today. I got the Fiat 500L Trekking all gassed up and ready for the "DDC" and "Casino Del Sol". Dottie are you ready? If not well too late Queenie.

It is still cloudy and overcast here in Tucson and it is predicted that we are going to get more storms and rain today. It sure is sticky out.

Chris and I are going to hit the hood before it get too hot. We may chill on the front porch and people watch for a little while as well. Of course we are going to watch a little TV this afternoon.

  It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise not in her cave this morning so she will be starting her day soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is good and I will have a pineapple smoothie a little later. There was a colorful rainbow out in the westward sky this morning. We got pounded last night with rain, wind, and a fantastic lightening display. The wind blew over chairs and even blow over the BBQ canopy. The backyard was flooded and we got a little bit of water in the storage shed as well.. It cooled down the desert quite a bit, but now it is muggy and very sticky out.

  I have a couple of errands to take care of this morning but other than that nothing planned. We had a wonderful dinner at "Zemans" with the crew. The wine was flowing nicely, and the food was delicious. Stu started us off with a bottle of red that his son made. I have to tell you it was very good. Thanks crew for a great evening.

  We will be breaking out our suitcases today for our stay-cation at the "DDC" on Wednesday. We will be using our perks. I love those "DDC" perks. I will be gunning for "Dottie" the (Keno Queen) for sure. We will see who has the (juice) to win. Thursday morning we will be meeting up with our daughter Kim for breakfast.

  Yesterday I starting my search into a trip for 2018. It is for a trip to Austria, Switzerland and Amsterdam. The places that I have seen so far are great and very promising. As you may know my playmate and I plan things way in advance and we do an extensive search into all that we do. Even if it is for 1 day or two weeks. We will continue with this effort always before we do anything. That is how we roll!

  Well, I had better get to work. Have a good Monday.

Well, we just got back form enjoying a very nice breakfast at the "Egg Connection" with Bobby. The fare was as good as ever.

Chris is enjoying his massage from Donna right now. Elise will be over shortly to take over caring for Chris and getting him up.

I am going to do a little yard work behind Chris's house and I will feed the fur-babies. We will more than likely watch some TV this afternoon until it is time to go to Zemams. I am also going to restock Chris's supplies for next week and I will see what I need to order for him as well.

Please enjoy the day and always keep your eyes and ears wide open. Give someone a hug today and try to hug someone daily.

   It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. My playmate came over early this morning to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is freshly brewed and it is doing it's job very well. It is still sticky and cloudy here in Tucson. We got a little drain yesterday evening. We also got some wind that blew over the BBQ grill canopy as well. Mother Nature put on a fantastic lightning show as well in the mountains. Yep, the monsoon season is on it's way.

    I want to thank everyone for all of the phone calls, emails, and texts for our dear friend Toni who passed away. I can still see her enjoying her margaritas at "Leo's" Mexican restaurant. We will miss her greatly. It has not been the best of weeks but life goes on that is what my Elise reminds me of constantly.

   We are going to the "Egg Connection" this morning for breakfast. We will meet up with Bobby there. Elise and I enjoyed the movie " Free State of Jones". It is a very good historical movie and the acting was excellent. We recommend this one for sure. As a matter of fact if it comes out on DVD we will buy it.

   We are going to meet up with Paula, Marty, Shoo and Stu that evening at "Zemans". It is going to be a nice evening of good food, laughs and friendship. Jayne will be here to care for Chris this evening. Yeah!

How are you doing? I hope that you are feeling better than we are?

We enjoyed a very nice breakfast at Gus Balones. The food was as good as ever. We even sent a picture of the food to Bobby.

Our daughter Tangye texted us while were at Gus's. She wanted to stop by for a bit and to pick up her phone charger that she left here a few weeks back. I told her that we were not at home but she could stop by the house to pick up the charger.

We returned home and Elise got a call from Lois to inform us the Toni passed away yesterday morning. What a shock for us. I sat there at my laptop and I made the following OneNote entry. Tears were flowing while I was making this entry:

This morning Elise and I were informed by Lois that our dear and long time friend Toni had passed away yesterday morning. I had a feeling that something was not right and now we know. We have known Toni for many years. We would go out for Mexican Food once a month with her and Lois. Toni would always treat us to an annual Christmas dinner at the restaurant of our choice.

Toni was a lovely and dear woman who was very sharp witted. She was an avid bridge player as well and she loved her romance novels. Always after our trips out to eat she insisted that I escort her back to her home to make sure that she got in safely. She also insisted on a kiss and a hug without fail from me. Elise knew that this was going on and it made Toni happy. Toni lived to be 98 years old and she will be missed greatly. Rest in peace Toni, you are pain free now. Keep on enjoying those margaritas!

   The coffee is working it's magic and a second cup well be enjoyed for sure. David will be here this morning to care for Chris. My playmate and I are going to "Gus Balones" for breakfast this morning. Yummy!

   It is a muggy sticky morning here in Tucson. I believe that the monsoon season is on it's way for sure. We always need rain here in the desert.

   We are planning on going to the movies this evening if all goes well. Chris is a bit fidgety this morning for some reason. I will keep an eye on him.

Well, we had a very nice dinner at "Cody's Beef and Bean". We were joined by Bobby. We also saw Becky and Sylvia there as well. They were celebrating Becky's birthday. Bobby and Elise went over to their table to sing Happy Birthday.

The food was very good as usual. We got back home and I hit the sheets due to I am still not feeling my best. It is just stress at least I hope so. I am posting now because I just got back up. My playmate is counting sheep as I post to the blog.

Something is really nagging at me and when that happens I am very careful and I try to figure out what if anything is going to come of it. It can be good or bad or nothing at all, but I always take notice. I keep my ears and eyes wide open, smile.

How are you doing so far on this TGIF!? I am good and I am taking it slow and easy. I enjoyed my small salad and I think I will have a nice ice cold glass of tea.

Chris is resting very well but I will getting him up and in his chair very soon. I just couldn't stand it anymore. I had to take the Fiat 500L Trekking to the car wash. Now she is looking good. Whenever I get her super cleaned it rains. So I am looking at the sky and I see a few clouds and a slight breeze is blowing.

Chris and I are going to watch a few horror movies this afternoon before Elise gets back home, smile! I want to thank everyone on behalf of Jayne and her family here and in Kenya for giving condolences due to the passing of her sister yesterday. Her sister is at peace now but the family is grief stricken. Be blessed!

We hope that your day went well? We received some bad news this afternoon. Chris's caregiver Jayne's sister passed away. Please keep her and her family both here in Tucson and in Kenya in your prayers and thoughts. This passing was a shock to the family and friends. Thank you.

After the movie we went to "Teresa's Mosaic" for dinner. We met with Mike and Vickie. Mike's sister Pat could not make due to she was not feeling well. We hope that she feels better soon. The food was good and so were the margaritas. So good that Elise and I had two of them. Bobby is caring for Chris this evening.

Bobby and Loraine, thank you for posting to our blog today. We are going to call it an early night and hit the sheets. We more than likely will read  a book before we drift off into slumber-land. Have a wonderful evening.

   It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am grinding coffee beans and checking on Chris and Jayne. It is very nice when Jayne stays overnight because it allows us to get extra sleep with no worries. Thank you Jayne!

   My shorty just popped up like a Pop Tart to start her day. The coffee is good, hot and freshly brewed. It is a humid morning already and it is going to be another hot one here in the valley of Tucson.

   My playmate and I are going to hit up the movies this afternoon if possible and depending on the show times. We would like to go to the Loft to see "Weiner". It should be interesting and the previews were good.

   We are meeting up with Vickie, Mike and Pat at "Teresa's Mosaic" dinner this evening. The food is always good there. It should be an evening of good food, fun and laughs. Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris.

   Well, our "Mahjong" fest was a total success. And guess what? Shoo, won, Elise won, Stu won, and wait for it. SO DID I! Wow, a great evening of fantastic deep dish pizza and hot wings from "Oregano's. The vino was flowing nicely. For dessert we had "Limoncello " gelato and ginger cookies. So good. The topper was we enjoyed a nice bottle of "Gruet" champagne. Yep, and Shoo Shoo was enjoying the bubbles and it worked it's magic on her like always. This time the bubbles even got to Stu. Yeah! A wonderful evening. Thank you Shoo and Stu for and evening of great fun.

    Well, I had better go and check on my shorty. Have a wonderful day and enjoy it to the fullest because I will without a doubt.

How are things going so far for you on this Hump Day? It is starting to heat up big time already. Whew!

I enjoyed my salad this morning and my renewed passport arrived a few minutes ago. So now I can explore the world again, smile!

The "Mahjong" table is all set up for those pigeons Shoo and Stu. They will be taking flight this evening for sure, smile! Hey, the Keno Queen (Dottie) has been on my case this morning early. She is racking in the winnings at the casino and she sent me a text of the slot screen rubbing it in big time. All I can say is that at the end of the month I will be the King of Keno for sure. Now what do you think about that girlfriend?

My playmate has left for the gym and she will be going to her writing class this afternoon. Her book is coming along nicely and I am proud of her and her effort. It is not an easy task to complete.

Well, I had better get Chris dressed and up in his chair. We will watch a little TV before Jayne arrives to care for him this afternoon. I will get him out to soak up a little sun as well.

   It's a Hump Day! How are you? I started the day off at 4:30am due to the fur-babies were barking like crazy at something. The barking even woke up my playmate as well. So I got up to investigate and I didn't see a thing. My playmate did say she heard voices. It may have been our neighbors because all of the lights were on in their house. So my day began with Chris early. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is brewing and my cup is ready to be filled. I will have a small salad for breakfast a little later this morning. I am caring for Chris this morning instead of Bobby and Jayne will be here this afternoon.

   It is going to be a Hump of a day, right Jane? Sure you are right. I will be setting up for "Mahjong" this afternoon. We are hosting the beat-down this evening. We will be joined by Shoo and Stu. It is going to be an evening of good food, laughs, libations, and mad "Mahjong" skills mainly on my part, smile! So Shoo and Stu bring it!

   Hey, my shorty brought me a back a grand dinner from "CeeDees" last night. I had Jerk chicken, rice and peas, fry bread, plantains and got it down with two yes I said two ice cold Corona's. Yeah Mon'. I slept like a log last night.

  Well, I need to get busy. Have a great Humper. Jane I have no doubt that you will.

I finished my classes today. WooHoo! Chris and I rested and we watched TV. I was wishing that we were back on the Pearl in Alaska. Wow!

My shorty is in a good mood due to the fact the she and her bridge partner came in first place for two days of play. It is a good thing when the ladies are in a good mood. Right Papa John! Yeah Mon'.

I am caring for Chris this evening and my playmate is at Ceedee's with her book club. She is going to bring me back some Jerk chicken and rice and peas. Irie'.

I got my tile shuffling skills honed to perfection for tomorrow evenings "Mahjong" fest. Shoo and Stu you had better bring your (A) game. We will have dinner ordered from Oregano's. Really looking forward to that.

    I wonder if we will get a few more raindrops today like we did yesterday? It is a puzzlement indeed, smile! I do know that it is going to be another hot one today.

   I have no plans today except to take it slow and easy and complete the last of my continuing medical classes.

   We are looking forward to the battle tomorrow with Shoo and Stu. We are hosting a "Mahjong" fest with all of the fixings. Also without a doubt I will be the (big dog) after the game is over. Right Shoo? You know it!

How was your day? It has been another hot one here in Tucson. I got my errands taken care of and I even got my ears lowered because of the heat.

Chris and I took it slow and easy this afternoon. We took a quick soak in the sun and we ran back into the house. We watched TV and i did a few updates on the laptop.

I was not feeling my best today due to a very bad headache and a bit of light headiness. I am feeling better than I was earlier but I am taking it easy. Looking forward to hitting the sheets tonight.

    It's a Monday! How are you feeling? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be on the move soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good this morning and I will have a strawberry smoothie this morning. Yes, the smoothies are back. It is just too hot here in the Old Pueblo. It got to be 115 degrees yesterday.Man it was hot outside. Whew!

    Well, I am not going to Disneyland! No, but I am going to Sullivan's. Yeah Mon'. How about those Cavs? What a game seven. It was back and forth the whole game. So I have my knife and fork at the ready. I will not be busing tables or washing dishes this time but my shorty may have to, smile! Great game! Sorry Jane and Nancy.

    I have to run an errand this morning out on the air base. Other than that I have nothing planned. It will be a good day to stay inside but I will take Chris out for a quick soak in the sun.
