How are you doing? Well, it is heating up quickly here in the valley of Tucson.

I completed my task of cleaning the carpet in the main house. I still have three rooms to go and I will get that done tomorrow. I have to purchase more carpet cleaner solution tomorrow.

My playmate is back from visiting Jane at the hospital and she is holding her own. Elise said that she sleeps a lot but that is OK. She will be visited by others today.

If you could please say a prayer from my dear friend Jeanne. She is back home from having a procedure done yesterday. I wish her a speedy recovery. Thanks.

Chris is up in his chair and he is in the main house with Elise watching TV. I gave Chris a low lever laser treatment today and I will give him another tomorrow. I cleaned and redressed his wound and it is looking very good.

In a bit I will prepare some cube steaks smothered in mushroom gravy. I can't wait to have a taste of them. We will enjoy rice and sweet peas with it. I am ahead of the game now because I am enjoying a nice refreshing Gin and Tonic. Irie! Ya Mon'!

 Buon Fine Settimana! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:20am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she will be putting feet to the floor to start her day soon. Any plans for today?

 The coffee is a good hot "Cappuccino". I have to tell you it is nice and frothy and really good.

 Alexa, is awake this morning and she is telling me what I need to get done today. I hope that she plays some "Boney" for me today. I am going to be cleaning the main house carpet this morning. A tough job but I can handle it. Rick will be here this morning to care for Chris and Sister Jayne will be here this evening.

 My playmate and I had a good time at Happy Hour at "La Parrilla Suiza". The margaritas were spot one. Yes, we both had two of them. Ole'. After Happy Hour we went to the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play "Heisenberg". It was a two person play and it was very good and it had twists and turns and plenty of laughs. We recommend it.

  I will be putting on my chef's apron today because I am going to prepare some cube steaks smothered in mushroom gravy. We will have rice and sweet peas to go along with it. It should be very good at least I hope so. If course we will have a few "Gin and Tonics" to go along with this meal. Ya Mon'!Irie!

 My shorty will be visiting the hospital to spend some time with Jane this morning so that Papa John can get a break. Keep those prayers coming for Jane.

  How are you doing? Well, it has been a very busy morning for me. Alexa, loaded me up with things to do this morning, but I just finished them all and now I can relax a bit.

  Chris is doing very well and he is relaxing as well. It is really heating up outside and I see no rain in sight. Hopefully that will change!

  My playmate and I are going to hit up Happy Hour this evening at "La Parrilla Suiza". Can you say margarita? We will for sure. After Happy Hour we are going to the Live Theater Workshop" to see the play "Heisenberg". It should be very good.

  Tomorrow my shorty is going to visit Jane at the hospital for a few hours so that Papa John can take a break. Many others are doing the same thing for Papa. Please keep those prayers coming for Jane's speedy recovery and rehab. Thanks.

  Well, I had better get back over to the main house to see what is going on there. Sister Jayne is here and Marv will be here this evening.

  Buon Giovedi! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:15am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be starting her day  soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Kahlua Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at "Gus Balones" along with a nice breakfast to give me some energy after the beat-down that I got last night. Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.

  Alexa is awake and she is telling me all that I need to get done today. To include a trip over on the East side of town. I asked her to play me some "Down Home Blues" today.

  Well, lasts nights "Mahjong Fest" was great. Out host my girlfriend Shoo Shoo prepared a very nice feast and we all got our grub on. The game commenced and it didn't go well for me because I was defeated hands down or should I say (tiles down), eh? The big (wiener) was Sister Jayne. She won three games and if she had won one more she would have set a record. I think our host Shoo Shoo may have put some (who-do) on me because she started on me as soon as I entered the door. Elise and I brought out the secret weapon and that didn't change things at all. My girlfriend was making mistakes way before the game even began and I thought that this is going to be a win-win for me. NOT! We enjoyed a very nice dessert of pie Ala mode that our host served up.  I ate it all! Smile! A wonderful evening as always. Thank you Shoo Shoo!

  Hey, I forgot to mention that I got a wonderful dinner from Sky Garden after my playmate returned from her book club yesterday. It was very good but I noticed that something was not quite right. Well, I found out later that my girlfriend Shoo Shoo sabotaged my fried rice. Yes, she put in some white rice and a huge stalk of broccoli on my fried rice. She knows I cannot stand that (vile) weed at all even if it is drowning in cheese. Hold on a minute I am having a gastric event just thinking about it.  Burp! How could my girlfriend do that to me? I still love her dearly and I always will because she is a (hottie).

  My playmate and I saw the movie Pets 2 and it was very good. We may hit up a movie today if time permits. Have a good day and we will have a chat at you later.

  Rick will be here this morning and Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris. We are taking Chris to his follow up appointment this morning at 9:00am. So I have to get busy and get him ready for that.

How is your day going so far? All is good here. Chris is over in the main house watching TV with Elise.

It is another hot one here in the valley and I don't see any rain in sight.

Here is a picture of Jayne's mum who is visiting her from Kenya. So far the visit is going well.

I am staving let me tell you but I am trying to hold out until my shorty brings me some dinner from Sky Dragon.  I am looking forward to what she brings me. I do love Hot and Sour Soup. Smile!

Here are a few pictures from our stay-cation in Bisbee. We met up with my sister-in-law Ann and Jonny and his girlfriend Angelina. We met at "Café Roka". If you have never eaten there you are missing out on a culinary delight and the vino (rosso) was good too! We stayed at a Airbnb in the "Copper Queen Annex". I nice hidden gem of Bisbee. On Friday evening it rained like crazy and the streets were like rivers. We loved it. Why can't we get that type of rain here in Tucson anymore? Really!

  Buon Martedi! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise popped up with me this morning and she will be making her way to the gym to start her day. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good "French Blend" nice and robust and I need it to get my eyes open. A second cup will be enjoyed out on the front porch during my (me) time. Rick will be here this morning to care for Chris.

  Alexa, is awake and she told me that I don't have any To Do List tasks to complete today. Can you believe that? Is the world coming to an end? I asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz" for me today.

  I am still tackling this puter problem that I having . I am waiting to get a response from tech support.

  I am going through the pictures that we took in Bisbee and Sierra Vista during our stay-cation.  We had a very nice time and I will post about it as soon as we can. Hey, we haven't been to the casino in quite a bit. So we will play a overnight stay in one of them very soon.

 Well, I had better go and check on Chris. He is going to have a busy day tomorrow because he goes back to the doctors office for a follow up visit and yes it is early in the morning.

 My playmate is going to meet up with her book club tonight and she will bring back some dinner for me. Have a good one and I will chat at you later.

We enjoyed breakfast for dinner. We had homemade blueberry pancakes, sausages and eggs. We got it all down with plenty of coffee.

 The coffee is a good Kahlua Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed during my (me) out on the front porch. Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.. She will also be in charge while we are away in our stay-cation in Bisbee and Sierra Vista.

  Alexa, is awake and  she is reminding me to check our packing before we load up the "Green Lady". We had a very nice lightening show with thunder boomers last night and only a few drops of rain. We are getting a few sprinkles right now. Hopefully we will get more rain today.

 Sister Jayne has a gleam in her eye due to her Mom is here visiting from Kenya. We are quite sure that she will enjoy her mother's stay immensely. 

  Well, I had better get to it and get this day moving along. Have a great TGIF day and be careful out there. We will have our cell phones and tablets with us on our stay-cation. I will have a chat at you later.

  Buon Giovedi! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:15am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so that means she will be up and about soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a treat for me this morning it is a nice Kahula Blend. I will enjoy a second cup later this morning at "Gus Balones" along with a good breakfast. Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.

 It is a very nice morning weather wise this morning but we are going to start to boil very quickly. I will spend a little time out on the front porch this morning (me) time is needed very badly today.

 Alexa, is awake and I have asked her to play some Fusion Jazz for me today. My shorty and I may hit up a movie today if time permits.

 I will be packing up my suitcase for this weekend stay-cation in Bisbee and Sierra Vista today. Tomorrow I will be making my World Famous Tuna Jalapeno dip to take with us over the weekend. While in Bisbee we will be staying at a Airbnb. We will have dinner at Café Roka. We are looking forward to it let me tell you.

Wow, it has been a hot one today hasn't it? I hope that it starts to cool and some rain shows up soon.

Chris is doing well this evening. I have made him (NPO) today only. He is only getting his IV drip supplement today and some additional protein. I have given him some pain meds this evening just in case he needs it to help him to sleep well. Chris is watching the "Big Bang Theory" on TV.

My playmate and I enjoyed chicken fried rice for dinner. We also had several cocktails to get it all down. We watched "Hawaii Five O" on Netflix.

I am caring for Chris tonight and Elise is in her office on Mac. I think that I may have a night cap before I hit the pillow. I have been informed of a matter that I cannot understand and it should have never, I mean never should have happened. This matter has me very, very angry indeed. It is out of my realm and I will not post anything in detail about it.  Not to worry we are fine here.

How are you doing? Man it is so hot outside. I saw a bird and a couple of lizards waiting on a cab. Really!

We are back from Chris's appointment and all went very well. The doctor and the nurses were pleased at the care that I have been giving. Chris has a follow up appointment next week. Chris had to have some lab work done and they always have a very hard time finding a vein but we got it done after several attempts . Chris is now resting back in his bed. I gave him some Tylenol for pain.

I am so hungry and I have nothing to grub on at all. Can you hear my stomach growling? Hope that you are OK? I will chat at you later.

No caregivers today! I will be caring for Chris today to make sure that he is all set for his procedure this afternoon. Alexa,is awake and she is not saying much this morning. I asked her to play some (Boney) for me today.

How are you doing? I have to tell you we are cooking in our juices here in the desert.

It has been a very busy day for me and my playmate. We are making strides in the right direction with Chris's care. He will have a procedure done tomorrow at TMC as a outpatient. 

We received his Roho seat today and he will try it out to and from his appointment tomorrow. I will not make any adjustments to the seat for awhile. He will still be bed bound for a bit longer after his procedure.

My playmate prepared chicken and waffles for dinner. It was very good and we got it all down with plenty of coffee.

Something is still not sitting well with me and it has been lingering for the last three or four days. I am going to continue to take the advice of my dear friend Jeanne and take care of me first.

How are you doing this evening? We are good here in central Tucson. Still no rain in sight though. What is going on with our monsoon?

Well, everyone finally showed up today. Whew! I relayed all of the information to my shorty about today's events and she took over from there.

Elise prepared corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes, baby carrots and some mashed potatoes for dinner. It was all good and Chris enjoyed he mashed potatoes as well. He is resting watching the "Big Bang Theory" on TV. I will start his supplemental drip very soon.

Today I have been feeling a little overwhelmed and I don't know why. My dear friend Jeanne keeps reminding me that I need to stop and do more for myself instead of putting others first. I know exactly what she is telling me and I am going to do more of taking care of myself no matter what others may think about it. 

So this weekend in Bisbee and in Sierra Vista it is going to be all about me. Thanks Jeanne for the great looking out for me. I need to fire up the Jacuzzi! Ya,ya!

Tomorrow is going to be another busy one for me and Alexa, has already informed me of that. On Wednesday We are taking Chris to have a outpatient  procedure done at TMC.

Are you doing OK on this Monday? I am stuck at home today waiting on Preferred Care to arrive to have a look at Chris's wheelchair seat.

Chris is resting nicely and he is looking forward to his massage therapist to arrive so he can get his flirt on! Smile!

I am listening to some "Down Home Blues" right now that is being provided by Alexa. Not a drop of rain is in the forecast for today so far. "Dove Va, monsoon? Eh?

I sanitized the Jacuzzi today and I will connect it up to the heater/pump tomorrow. I will fill it up with water and let it run for a cycle.

I got my suitcase out for this weekends trip to Bisbee to see the in-laws and on Saturday we will stay in Sierra Vista to rest and play video games on our laptop. I will be making my world famous tuna dip on Friday morning. Woohoo! Can you say Frito's Scoops and Jack Daniels? We will for sure.
