Good Night!

Good Night!

Well, this Tricky Tuesday is just about kaput! How was your day? I got plenty of rest today, and all of the rest has got me exhausted, go figure?

I want to thank everyone who helped me with my lecture questions today. It was a very tough, deep thinking group of questions don't you think so?

Elise and I played a few games of Mahjongg today. And guess what? I won two games and Elise won one. I am on a lucky streak. Loraine, that is a hint for you, smile! Elise wears the Wizard crown and cape, but it is heading back to me.

Elise's sister Ann is staying over night in Do-Drop-Inn room #2. She just bought a new condo here in Tucson. Elise prepared some very nice soup and sandwiches for dinner.

I am caring for Chris and Elise is checking her email. Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a good evening.
Cheers.....Jessie and Elise

Tiger,Marcie, Jet get some rest.

Jane and John, sleep well.

Loraine, keep counting those cards.

Shoo and Stu, sleep tight.

Good Morning!

Mood: Blissful

Music listening to: Paid The Cost To Be The Boss by James Brown

It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:30am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning and she is not making a sound. I am positive that she will be up soon and heading for the gym. Any plans for today?

The coffee is great and brewed from freshly ground beans. My strawberry, banana smoothie is in the fridge waiting on me. I woke up this morning a little teary eyed but that was a good thing.

I am a lucky man to be here to start another year in my life and I want you all to be a part of it. Again I thank my loving wife Elise, my family, and my many, many friends who made my birthday very special.

I have no plans for today at all. I am going to start lecture #6 at 10:00am this morning on my course on Death. This course is very, very interesting.

Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. It has been 30 days since I have started on "365 Days With Elise", and I am enjoying it a lot.

Well, I had better get busy. Have a great day and a better tomorrow.

WooHoo! I started the day off at 4:20am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning, but she is purring away. She will be up and about soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is great this morning and my banana and whey smoothie really thick is in the fridge. Yes, today I hit another milestone in my life. It is my birthday and I am going to enjoy it to the fullest.

I started celebrating yesterday with good friends at Zemans for dinner. I will give more details about that later. I have woke up to many birthday wishes and greetings. By the grace and the blessings of the Lord, my loving wife, family, and my many friends I am here to see and enjoy this day. I thank you all for blessing me to know you and have you in my life.

Howdy!

Well we are back from having breakfast at the "Egg Connection. The food is so good there and our server Libby knows exactly what we want to order. We met the mom and son for whom we bought breakfast for the last time we were there.

The mom is a retired school teacher. Her son is a car buff who is restoring a 1970 Chevy Nova for is daughter who will be graduating soon. They thanked us for the gesture of kindness. Elise and I felt very good about it. We just picked them out of the patrons and we told Libby that we would like to pay for their meal without them knowing.

Elise is caring for Chris right now and he was talking up a storm but now he has stopped. We are going to play some Mahjongg this afternoon and hopefully Bobby will join us.

We will be meeting up with Paul,Marty,Shoo and Stu at Zemans for dinner this evening. Well, as promised here are a few pictures from the Tucson Women's Chorus last night at St. Mark's Church. Enjoy!
Cheers......Jessie and Elise

Sunday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Blessed!

Music listening to: I'm A Roadrunner by Junior Walker and the All Stars.

It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave so she will be up very soon to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is delicious and no smoothie today. We are going to the Egg Connection for breakfast this morning. It is nice 59 degrees here in Tucson.

Well, the Tucson Women's  Chorus concert at St. Marks church was a huge success. I have to tell you the church was packed and people were standing in the back of the church as well.

The chorus sung very well and I thought it was the best that I have heard them sing. The crowd loved to intermission because the earth beach balls came out and people were hitting them among the crowd, of course the kids loved it the  most. It was good to see a lot of Elise's friends and family there to support her and the chorus. A grand performance!

After the concert Elise and my date Lila attended the after concert party at one of the apartment complexes clubhouse. There was a nice crowd there as well. Loads of food and drink. There was even a celebration of a birthday of a ninety years young lady. I have to tell you see blew the candles off of three cakes and she began to shake her groove thang as well. It was wonderful!

We are going to meet up with our posse this evening at Zemans for dinner. It is always a good time shared there. I am proud of Elise and all of her accomplishments, but being a member of the Tucson Women's Chorus is up the with (Bridge), smile!

Well, I had better get busy. Have a great Sunday and get set for tomorrow (Monday)! I will post a few pics of last nights concert later today.
Later.......Jessie and Elise

Marcie, Jet have a good day.

Loraine, let the pillow go!

It's the Weekend! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she is stirring about. She will be up shortly and on her way the the gym. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good this morning  and brewed from freshly ground beans. My orange and strawberry smoothie is in the fridge, nice and thick.

Elise and I enjoyed our dinner at "Pastiche" last night. We shared a nice bottle of red called " Steelhead". Elise and I shared a nice salad. Elise ordered the Mahi, mahi and I had a nice steak. We both had veggies, mashed potatoes, and quinoa.

After dinner we went to the Invisible Theatre to see the play " The Fox on the Fairway" it was very good and hilarious.

It is going to be a busy day for Elise. This evening is the Tucson Women's Chorus concert at St. Marks. It should be a good one. Elise is still having problems with her cough and throat but she will get through it. We will attend the after party and it should be very interesting and fun. I will be taking photos of the concert as well and of a few of the concert goers.

Angelica will be here to care for Chris this evening for Rosemary. Well, I had better get busy. Have a wonderful weekend.

Howdy!

Howdy!

How are things going so far? It is a nice 70 degrees right now here in Tucson. Well, Elise has let me again and she is on her way to the gym.

After the gym she is going to meet up with a friend for lunch. I have finally caught up with "365 Days With Elise" it is a challenge but I am having a great time writing it.

I received a good idea from Elise's hair stylist and manicurist of a picture to include in the book. I would have never thought of it and I very happy she did. Now I am waiting for it to materialize.

Again, if you happen to see Elise out an about and she does or says something that you think would be good for the book, please let me know.

Well, I believe it is time for me to attack my smoothie, eh? Have a good one!

TGIF! Sup? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave but she is moving about. She is still having coughing problems that really flair up at night. She may be up and heading for the gym very soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and my banana, strawberry smoothie is looking so good. We enjoyed the movie "Oblivion" and the critics were correct about the storyline but it is a very good sci-fi movie.

Elise and I had a very nice dinner at "Downtown" the food was excellent. We both had a couple cocktails that were good. I had the J-Dawg with fries and Elise had a catfish taco and a lamb's tongue taco. It was all very good. We got a few compliments about our I love New York t-shirts that we were wearing. Elise even struck up a nice conversation with a lady who is from New York.

After our light dinner we took a walk in the "Barrio" that was nice and the evening was perfect. We ended up at the "Arizona Theater Company" to see the play "Clybourne Park" it was very good and the standing ovation was well deserved.

Elise and I are going to have dinner this evening at Pastiche. Afterwards we are going to the "Invisible Theater" to see the comedy "The Fox on the Fairway. It should be very good.

We have a very busy weekend. Tomorrow is the Tucson Women's Concert with an after concert party. Sunday we are meeting up with the crew at Zemans. We are party animals, eh?

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris. I am behind just a bit with "365 Days With Elise" but I will catch it up today. Have a great day and a fantastic weekend.

Thirsty Thursday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Worried!

Music listening to: Rock With You by MJ

It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she is stirring about. She maybe heading to the gym to swim.Any plans for today?

The coffee is delicious this morning and my banana, chocolate smoothie is in the fridge looking very refreshing. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris.

Angelica and I will be taking Chris to his doctor's appointment early this morning. So that means Chris will not be getting a massage today, but Elise will.

I am worried this morning because I listened to Elise cough during the night and her breathing was a bit strained as well. Her allergies are recking havoc on her and I am hoping that nothing else develops from it.

We may go to the movies this afternoon to see "Oblivion" starring Tom Cruise. We are going to have a light dinner at "Downtown" this evening. After our light dinner we are going to the Arizona Theater Company to see the play "Clybourne Park". It is a comedy about where race and real estate intersect. It got rave reviews, we shall see.

I am still chugging along with "365 Days With Elise" and loving every moment of it. So if you happen to run into Elise or see something that you think should be included in the book let me know. A picture of her or something that she said would be much appreciated.

Well, I had better get to it. It is a going to be a very Thirsty Thursday for sure.
Cheers........Jessie and Elise

Marcie, Jet stay safe.

Loraine, get ready for it.

Jane and John, have a good day.

Shoo and Stu, wake up.

Olivia, have a good day.

Ross and Denise, have a grand day.

Sup?

Sup?

How is your day going so far? Things are poppin' around here. Is it still Monday?

Elise has decided to go to the Tucson Women's Chorus practice this evening, ( I don't think that she should), but she knows what is best for her, right?

We got a call from the Toyota Service manager. He said that the Prius needs a new water pump due to it is leaking. I called Elise to let her know, but I could not get her because she is in the gym. I told the service manager to go ahead and replace it. It is very costly let me tell you. It is Monday right?

I am going to run some errands with Elise this afternoon after Bobby arrives to care for Chris. I hope that your day is going well?

It's Hump Day! Sup? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning, she will be up soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is freshly brewed but I cannot have any until after my blood work at the lab this morning. Bummer! My banana, strawberry, pineapple smoothie is in the fridge waiting on me. No whey today because I am out of it, but the smoothie will still be delicious.

We will be taking the Prius in this morning for a routine service as well. Elise still has a bit of a cough especially at night and her throat is still raw. It is not looking good for her singing on Saturday with the Tucson Women's Chorus.

It is a nice 60 degrees this morning and we are going to reach 90 degrees today. Can you say air conditioning? Smile!

Well, I had better get busy. Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. Have a good day and a better tomorrow.

Good Night!

Good Night!

Well, how was your day? Things went fairly well today. Elise went to her doctor's appointment and this what was found out.

Her allergies are acting up big time, her throat is raw but she is not contagious. She was given a shot and some meds to take. We will see how they work.

Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had pancakes, sausages, eggs and hot coffee. Elise even bought me 3 pounds of coffee today, wasn't that nice?

We watched "Mad Men" with Chris while we enjoyed our dinner. I am concerned because Elise has started to cough this evening and that does not sound good at all. We will see what the night brings.

I am caring for Chris and Elise is checking her email. I am sure that she will be hitting the sheets very soon to rest. I have to hit the lab early tomorrow to have some routine blood tests done.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris, and check on Elise.
Have a wonderful evening. I want to thank everyone who answered my course questions today. You are making this  course very interesting.

Hello!

Hello,

How are things going so far for a Tuesday? I just finished watering the trees and plants.

Elise is still not feeling well, but she has left to play bridge. She believes in keeping her commitments. After bridge she will stop in Wal-Mart to drop of slides to be transferred onto CD's.

After that she has a doctor's appointment to see what is going on with her. I will listen to lecture #5 at around 10:00am this morning. It should be a good one.

Well, I had better get to it. I will text Elise a little later to see how she is getting along. She will be totally disappointed if she cannot sing with the chorus Saturday evening.

Later.......Jessie and Elise

Jane, that pic was taken maybe a year or so ago.

It is a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she is still not feeling well. She had bouts of coughing through the night. I will be checking on her from time to time. This may prevent her from singing with the Tucson Women's Chorus this Saturday evening. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and I am out of beans to grind. I must do something about that for sure. My strawberry, banana and whey smoothie is in the fridge waiting on me. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris.

Depending on how Elise is feeling I will be listening to lecture number 5 today. It will be about (Free Will and Near Death Experiences), it should be very informative.

Chris will be visited this afternoon by his case manager to see how things are going with him. Chris will be glad to see her so he can flirt with her, smile.

Good Night!

How was your day? It was a pretty good day for a Monday, smile. I got my errands taken care of and I really enjoyed my strawberry smoothie. Elise got me some strawberries that are really sweet.

Chris and I relaxed pretty much all day. We took a walk and it was a bit warm today.  Elise returned from bridge and she prepared chili for dinner that was great.

I am caring for Chris this evening. Elise left to practice with the Tucson Women's Chorus. She returned home in about 10 minutes. She is not feeling well. She may be coming down with a cold and she is losing her voice. I will keep and eye on her throughout the evening.

Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a great evening.
Cheers......Jessie and Elise

The coffee is good and I am just about out of beans to grind. How did that happen? My strawberry and whey smoothie is extra thick this morning, you could eat it with a spoon. Yeah!

I have to run a couple of errands this morning for sure. It is going to be a very busy week for Elise and I. We have plays to see, restaurants to make reservations for, the Tucson Women's Chorus, and more. Bring it!

We enjoyed the concert at St. Paul's Church yesterday. The Arizona Repertory Singers were in great form. It was the best that we have seen them perform. We were there with Lila, one of Elise's bidders and shufflers. She enjoyed the concert and afterwards she treated us to dinner at Casa Molina.

When we got to the church for the concert we sat right up front with Jane. Lila was taken by surprise when she caught Jane and I hugging. She had to tell Elise that I am hugging a strange lady. I found that very funny, being the flirt that I am so says Elise. I disagree with that notion, but I do know I can still turn a head or three, smile! You have to keep your skills in good working order, right? Smile!

Well, I had better get busy. Have a good day and be careful.
Later......Jessie and Elise

Marcie, Jet stay safe.

Loraine, get your practice on.

Jane and John, have a good day. The concert was the best yet. John and Dave did a great job.

Shoo and Stu, what did you think about the "Cemetery Club?

The coffee is very good this morning and I am on my second cup. No smoothie today, don't have a panic attack, OK? Smile! I will have a nice strawberry one that will be extra, extra thick tomorrow. Elise bought me some strawberries that are huge.

We are going to have breakfast this morning at the Egg Connection. We are going to pick out someone while we are there and we will secretly pay for their breakfast. Elise and I do that every now and again. It is a good feeling to be able to do that because we have been blessed.

We went to the "Loft" yesterday to see the docu-movie titled " The Fierce Green Fire" it is about what we are doing to Mother Earth and it is getting worse daily. A very enlightening movie.

We are going to listen to the Arizona Repertory Singers sing this evening at the Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 3:00pm. We have friends who sing with the group and they are very good.

Afternoon! (Car Sales)

Good Afternoon!

How are you doing? We are doing just fine here in Tucson. The weather is wonderful and Chris and I are having a lot of fun showing cars this afternoon.

We are just showing our vast inventory of cars today, hoping that the viewers like what they see and hopefully they will return to purchase one or two if these fine vehicles.

The lookers are enjoying the refreshments big time. Chris and I have potato chips, Frito's, some dip, popcorn, soda and ice cold water.

Wait a minute we are hearing a lot of noise that sounds like the revving of small engines. It is getting closer and closer. The lookers have stopped looking and are wondering what all the noise is about.

Oh my goodness! I don't believe what I am seeing. It is the wheelchair lady. Oh No! She has been upgraded from a wheelchair to a Rascal scooter.

She has a posse with her of about 10 people riding scooters. WTF? This is not good at all. Now they have formed a circle around the cars that are being viewed. My potential car buyers are getting nervous and so am I. What are they up to?

Well, the little old lady that used to come by in the wheelchair is now making her move up front. What is she doing? She raised her hand and she has an empty shot glass in it. All of a sudden the rest of her posse were raising a glass as well.

All of a sudden they begin to yell " We want Jack" We want Jack" We want it now". This was making Chris a little antsy to say the least. They began to blow their scooter horns loudly, this is not good.

Next thing I know they had formed a circle like a wagon train, and they started to circle the cars and the viewers. All of a sudden a cloud of smoke appeared from the circle of   her posse. The cloud got closer to us and this is unbelievable.

The cloud was a cloud of flatulence from the posse. It is terrible and they are still yelling for Jack. This cloud made the views take flight in a hurry. She has done it to me again, can you believe that?

I took up a fighting stance and I put Chris's arms up so he could get in a few good ones as well. I unstrapped Chris's feet from his chair so he could get a kick in or two as well. Chris was ready to go.

All of a sudden one of the shufflers came out to her car for some reason and she saw what was going on. She was in shock and she went back into the house and she told the other bidders what was going on outside. What happened next is a miracle.

The shufflers and bidders all came out with cards in hand and told the posse to leave. The posse did not listen at all. All of a sudden the bidders and shufflers began to toss cards like they were ninjas. Yes, you heard me right. The cards were flying with accuracy like kung fu stars..

One of the scooters got too close to Chris and his right leg came straight out and he kicked the scooter out from under the leader. The bidders were still striking with accuracy. All of a sudden the leader yelled out "Retreat" and the posse formed up and are now headed down Pima toward Columbus. The bidders and shufflers started to do a victory dance and they went back inside to finish the bridge game.

Wow, what afternoon. Once again the wheelchair lady ruined my day. I got things cleaned up out front and I took Chris back inside for some lunch. I went over to thank the bidders and shufflers and they were busy back to their game of bridge. They acted like nothing happened at all.

I was looking at Elise and she had a smile on her face and she gave me a wink. I turned around and left very puzzled, dumbfounded and at awe. I need a drink, a double. That wheelchair lady is one smart bag of Depends, smile!

After Marv arrives this evening we are going to go to have a couple of cocktails before we go to Live Theater Company to see a live play. After that we will have a late dinner at Applebee's. We will meet up with Bobby at around 9:30pm or so.

What a day this has been in the Old Pueblo.

Cheers.......Jessie and Elise

Marcie, Jet have a good night.

Thirsty Thursday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Content

Music listening to: Coffee brewing, yes!

It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning but she will be up soon heading for the gym. Any plans for today?

I am waiting on the coffee to finish brewing and my banana, strawberry and whey smoothie is in the fridge. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris.

Chris and Elise will be getting a massage from Pam mid morning. Rosemary will be here to care for Chris this afternoon and overnight.

Elise and I are going to the DDC to use our perks and we will be staying overnight. Wish us luck on the slots, OK? Cha Ching!

We went to see the movie "42" yesterday and it is a excellent movie. So good that when it comes out on DVD Elise is going to buy it. It received loud well deserved claps from the movie patrons and it was well deserved.

Well, I had better get busy. Have a good day and stay safe. Here are some pics of day 3 of our stay-cation, enjoy. Please continue sending up prayers for Tiger and Ray. Thank you.
