Buon Martedi!  Taco Tuesday!  How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise popped up like a baseball hit out in center field tostart her day. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Blueberry Vanilla Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. The winds have been blowing all night long and they still are with no rain in sight.

I am caring for Chris today. We are still having caregiver problems but my shorty and I are working on it. Our last hopeful didn't work so I am it for now. Now you see why we take our stay-cations and mini- vacations, eh?

I am still working on getting pictures and events that took place on our recent mini-vacation to Quemado , New Mexico. Hopefully I will have it posted soon.

Today is going to be another very busy day. I have a few errands to take care of today as well. Tomorrow is Chefs Day and I have to pick up a few items to prepare the meal. My Sous Chef and I will be preparing Grilled Cajun Lemon Chicken Wings.  My Sous Chef will decide on what the side dish will be and she will selection a libation as well. Is your tummy starting to rumble? Mine is for sure.

We got a wonderful surprise in the mail yesterday. We received T-shirts from Marv who retired in April. He sent for us, Chris and Sister Jayne. He now lives in Nebraska. We really to miss Marv. He was with us for over 20 years.

The coffee is a good Blueberry Vanilla Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at "Gus Balones" along with a good breakfast. It is a bit balmy this morning and we could use a bit more rain.

Sister Jayne will be her this morning. We will be loading up the Tacoma this morning and making our way to New Mexico. We will have our phones and tablets with us so we can stay in touch.

What is going on around your way? We are good here but still no rain in sight. We have have some cloud cover and it is holding the temperature back.

Well I broke open the Uncle Nearest 1856 and it a true 100 proof. My playmate and I sipped it slow and easy, smile!

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is resting and enjoying his supplement while watching TV.

Elise is back and she brought some Tagliatele pasta with a meat sauce. It is delicious. Am I going to eat it all? You better know it.

We have our suitcases out and we will start our packing tomorrow. We hope that your Taco Tuesday was a good one? I will chat at you later. Stay safe.

I got to see my girlfriend Shoo Shoo this evening. Yes, the hugs and kisses galore. I also received hugs and kisses from Deb and Lori as well. A good way to close a day up , eh?

The coffee is a good Southern Pecan Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It feels a bit cooler this morning in the valley of Tucson. I am sure that it is going to heat up later. Rain rain where are you?

I am caring for Chris today. We have run into a snag with the new potential caregiver. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. Alexa is awake and she said that I have another busy day today. I have to make a trip over on the eastside this morning. I asked Alexa to play some "Funky Jazz" for me today.

My shorty and I are still working on new rocks.  I will not be making a trip to the Cortez location. I will be dropping off rocks in the hood.

My playmate will be meeting up with her book club this evening. I am looking forward to what she brings me back for dinner. I will have my fork ,spoon, knife, napkin and a libation at the ready.

We will start to pack for our trip to New Mexico that starts on Thursday. We both are a little concerned about this trip for some reason. We will see how it goes.

There will be no Chefs Day this week. I will miss it but we will recover next week. Well I had better get to it. Have a good Martedi and I will chat at you later.

How was your day? It has been a very busy one for me. I cared for Chris today and tomorrow I will repeat today.

I prepared Grill Cheese Sandwiches for dinner. I had ham with mine. My shorty had sliced tomatoes, baby carrots and avocado. We watched "Wentworth" on Netflix with Chris.

I just got out of the Jacuzzi and it felt great. My playmate is in the main house reading a book. I am sure that I will be in a zone as soon as my head hits the pillow.

I am caring for Chris today. Alexa is awake and he said that today is going to be a busy one for me and that I should hit the Jacuzzi this evening. I think I will!

Chris and Elise will be receiving a massage from Rosemarie today.

We will start talking about what to pack for our up coming New Mexico trip. We will head out on Thursday and return on Sunday. Sister Jayne will be here caring for Chris.

Buon Domenica!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:15 am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be making her way over to Chris's house to care for him. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Butter Toffee Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at the "Egg Connection" along with a good breakfast. It is another hot morning here in the valley of Tucson. It is going to heat up quickly but we are supposed to see a temp drop of a few degrees. Where is the rain?

Sister Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have to make a trip out to the airbase today. I asked her to play some "Inspirational Music" for me today.

My playmate and I are working on new rocks. We are going to make a trip to the Cortez location to drop of and pick up. We are also going to drop off at the "Egg Connection".

We enjoyed our evening with my girlfriend Shoo Shoo yesterday. We saw a live play that was excellent at the "Invisible Theater". The title was "Tiny Beautiful Things". We thought that this was the best ever play we have seen there. Great storyline and the acting was outstanding.

After the play we made our way over to "Kingfisher" for a early dinner. We have not been here for years. The food and the vino rosso was excellent. It was so good for us to spend time with my girlfriend. Here are a few pics from last night. I do miss my girlfriends something awful. They treat me so well, to the point I am spoiled bigtime and they know it. Looking forward to getting back with them all. Smile!

We really enjoyed Happy Hour at "La Parrilla Suiza" last night . The Queso and margaritas were very good. We haven't been there since Covid began. We got some sad news though. We were told that (Chuck) the bartender passed away about 3 months ago from a heart attack. This news really threw us both because he was such a good friend.

After Happy Hour we hit up the "Live Theater Workshop" to see a live play We haven't been there since Covid as well. The play was good and it was great to be back. We got a nice surprise while we were there. Our Papa John was there to see the play as well. It was good to see him and he looks well.

We are going to the "Invisible Theater" to see the live play "Tiny Beautiful Things". It is going to be a good  one. We will be joined by my girlfriend Shoo Shoo and that is a plus. After the play we will have dinner at "Kingfisher". We haven't been to "Kingfisher" in years.

We will be interviewing a caregiver this afternoon. We have not heard anymore from the caregiver who was a no-show and not a a word more from the agency that she worked for. I am working with Chris this morning.

Well Chefs Day was fantastic yesterday. My Sous Chef and I worked tirelessly in the (cucina). Dinner was delicious and Sister Jayne thought so too! Have a look! My Sous Chef prepared some mashed potatoes and some green beans that were really good.

Today is Chefs Day! My Sous Chef and I will be preparing Liver and Onions" for dinner. My Sous Chef will will prepare a side dish and she will select the libation for today. I can hear your tummy growling already, smile!

We are working on new rocks and we will drop off and pick up the Cortez location. We will also drop off at Gus Balones.

Today is the day that Chris is suppose to have a new bed delivery. Hope they bring a totally electric one.

How are you? I am still fuming about todays caregiver issue. Still nothing from the caregiver and the agency has no idea where she is.

I am so upset because I am responsible for Chris's care and well being. I take my job very seriously. I don't understand how anyone else in this profession cannot take it seriously. Eventually I will calm down but not anytime soon.

I was going to hit the Jacuzzi but I will not dive in today. Have a good evening and I will chat at you later. Hope I can get to sleep tonight!

How are you doing? I hope way better than I am.

I am so pissed off because the new caregiver was a no-show this morning. No phone call from her or the agency that she works for. I am so furious that I cannot call the caregiver or the agency until I calm down. What is wrong with these people?

I made plans for today and now they are shot. It seems like I am the only one who is losing out. It is really starting  get to me. I need to start thinking  more about myself like my friend Jeanne told me quite some time ago.

Sister Jayne was here to continue the training. I took her back home because it is not fair to her. I don't ask for much but when I want and need to do something I should be able to do it when I want to. Man I am pissed off. I will calm down in a bit. Chat at you later.

The coffee is a good Butter Toffee Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is hot already here in the valley of Tucson. It will heat up more as the day goes along. Whew!

The new caregiver will be here again this morning to train with Chris.  She doesn't have the vast experience that the agency claims but she is willing to learn. So we will give her a chance. Sister Jayne worked with her yesterday and she will work with her today with me in the background. Chris likes her and that is important. Alexa is wake and she said that I have a few tasks to take care of today to include shopping for "Chefs Day" that will be on Thursday.

My playmate and I  still working on new rocks. I will post pictures later today. I will not be making a trip to the Cortez location today.

I hit up the Jacuzzi last night and it was great. I slept like a log! I plan on diving in the Jacuzzi again this evening.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to work with the new caregiver this morning. The new caregiver is supposed to have great experience. We  will see how much. I will be here in the background to see for myself. So that means I will not be online much this morning. Elise and I will be taking Chris to a dental appointment this afternoon so he can meet his new dentist.

Tomorrow the new caregiver is supposed to be here at 8:00am to train for Chris. Chris has a dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon as well so it is going to be a very busy day. Sister Jayne will be here at 8:00am to give the training. I will be an observer since this caregiver is supposed to be highly qualified. We shall see because I am a taskmaster!

My playmate treated me to a early "Fathers Day" dinner at Pinnacle Peak last night. It was very nice we both left stuffed. Here is what dinner looked like. It was delicious!
