How are you doing so far today? We are back from dropping off the Prius at the dealer for servicing. Chris and Elise will be receiving a massage from Donna shortly.
Here is what happened the day of our stay in Quemado, New Mexico!
Thursday 12 Nov 15
We slept for 9 hours last night. We got up dressed and we enjoyed breakfast at the Largo Cafe. It was very cold that neither one of us could get warm. So we turned up the heater and that did the trick to trigger the sleep to arrive. We were shivering in our PJ's and socks.
We arrived up at at Nanci and Jeff's at around 11:00am. It turned out to be a beautiful day. We took a walk around the neighborhood. Perfect temp of about 60 degrees.
We helped Nanci and Jeff load 70 pieces of drywall into the cabin. It took us about an hour and a half to get it completed. We all were pooped after that. So we rested and we enjoyed beer, chips, bean dip, and luncheon meat and cheese. After that Elise and Nanci took another walk into the woods.
Jeff and I were sitting around the fire pit recovering. Nanci and Elise joined us. Later we enjoyed steaks on the grill, salad, and potatoes. The meal was delicious and we laughed and reminisced (some about Wes which was nice). After dinner we all sat around the fire pit and relaxed. Perfect day in Quemado. We said good night and we departed for the Largo.
