TGIF!

Good Morning!

Mood: Content! Slap and Tickled!

It's a TGIF! Sup? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she was stirring about so she will be up and on the move soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and a second cup will be had. I am eyeing the Popeye's chicken that was left over from last nights dinner. Yummy! Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris. Hey how about those Cubs?

I just glanced at my To Do List and today is not going to be hectic at all. My shorty and I are going to "La Parrilla Suiza" for Happy Hour and that will be followed by "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play titled " My Name Is Asher Lev. It got great reviews and it should be a good one.

We hope that your TGIF day is a good one. Enjoy and stay safe. Here is a bit more about our trip to New York.
Later....Jessie and Elise

Jane and Papa John, have a safe trip. See you when you return.`

We are up and about. We hit the sheets early last night after enjoying Gyro's, fried rice and beer in our studio. are feet our still hurting due to all of the walking that we did.

We got dressed and headed out for breakfast. We went to "Cafe Luluc" again. Elise enjoyed a omelette that was served with a green salad and french fries. I had the French toast that was really good with a compote on top.. After breakfast we headed back to our studio to plan out our day.

We took the subway to "Times Square". We walked around for awhile. We stopped at a place to people watch. While we were there we enjoyed a beer and I had a Tilapia Po'Boy that was very good. After that light snack we continued to walk. We walked to "Central Park" and it was being visited by a lot of people.

After "Central Park" we walked some more until we got to the "Rockefeller Center". We went up to the observation deck and it was awesome. What a view. After coming back down we walked some more (no wonder our feet hurt), and we ended up back at "Time Square".

Our next stop was the "Empire State Building". Prior to that we walked all over the theater district and we found some musicals and plays we liked but we didn't want to pay $139 for the cheapest price in the nose bleed seats. So we decided not on this trip.

We continued to walk many, many more blocks until we found the subway heading to Brooklyn. We are back at your studio and once again we are "pooped" We walked over 8 miles today. We rested and enjoyed a few Jack and Coke. Ahhhhh!

Later we ventured out for dinner.  We stopped at a place called "Pane y Vino" (bread and wine). We shared a very nice bottle of Chianti. We shared a very good Lobster soup, and some polenta. Elise's entree was spaghetti with mussels, shrimp, calamari and lobster. It was oh so good. I had a pork chop stuffed with Gorgonzola and spinach. It came with mashed potatoes as well. Wow, that was good. For dessert we had coffee and we shared gelato. I don't have to tell you we were stuffed again.

We made our way back to our studio and we called it game over. Another good day in New York.
