Howdy!

Howdy!

BEING NAUGHTY IS NICE, EH?

Hey how are you? We just got back from the "Egg Connection". We had a very nice breakfast with Sheila and Pat. The food was as good as ever and the place was packed with a line out of the door waiting to be seated. It was good to see Bobby and Joe there as well.

Elise is caring for Chris and Sheila is in the main house chillin'. I am going to do yard work behind Chris's house shortly.

We hope that your day is going your way so far? Here is what went on the first day of our New York trip. I am bummed because the pictures of our room and the paintings in our room have somehow vanished.

Later....Jessie and Elise

New York Trip:

2 Oct 16

Elise and stayed in the "Towne Place Suites" overnight here in Tuscon. Thanks to the great rates that my brother gets for us. We will hit the airport early in the morning heading for New York, JFK airport.

3 Oct 16

We had a nice breakfast at the airport prior to boarding. We left our car at the Towne Place Suites because we had a reservation to stay overnight when we returned from New York.
The flight was a good one with no problems. Once we arrived in New York and we got our luggage we contacted Calvin to let him know that we were in a taxi heading in his direction to Brooklyn. He said that he would be looking for us at the Invisible Dog on Bergen Street.

We met with Calvin and he took us to our studio apartment. He told us about the apartment, Wi Fi and local restaurants in the local area. He gave us the keys and we were all set to enjoy a nice Jack and Coke. Our host Lucian was not available due to he was in France. The Invisible Dog is a art gallery right down the street.

There are lots of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and a Trader Joe's near by. It is nice to be so close to the places that we know that we will visit often.

We decided to eat dinner at a place called "Numero 28." It is a pizza, pasta and bar. We enjoyed a great meal. We had Morretti beer draft that was so good. So good that we each had to with our meal. We enjoyed meatballs and bread that was die for. We ordered two different types of pizza and they were heavenly. Our waitress was from Sicily and she was very good. We were stuffed and we could barely walk but we did. We walked several blocks to CVS, Trader Joe's, and Rite Aid. We bought much needed supplies that would get us through a few days. We walked back to our studio and we were exhausted but happy. We called it game over and we are looking forward to the next days adventure. A good evening in Brooklyn, New York.
