Excalibur during the day. Bobby and Patrick stayed here.

How is it going? We are good here in Tucson. I just heard from my mates Ross and Denise. They are in San Francisco and have been there for the past five days. They are enjoying themselves very much. They will visit Fisherman's Wharf today. I planted the idea that a clam chowder bread bowl is a must! Woohoo!

We are getting the winds again right now but not as bad as yesterdays. Well, here is a bit more about our trip to Vegas. Enjoy!

It is 8:55am and we are up sort of,smile!

We head over to the MGM Grand to eat breakfast at Micky D's. Elise ordered oatmeal and had and Egg Mcmuffin. We both had coffee.

After breakfast we decided to hit the slots in the MGM Grand. Elise had to make a pit stop and she told me to win big on the dollar slot that I was on.

Well, I did just that.I put in $20.00 dollars and I won $1800.00. Elise got back and she saw the light flashing on top of the slot, so she knew the deal. Wow, I won big in Vegas. After we received our cash I continued to play the same slot for about 5 more minutes and I won $200.00 more. At that point we cleared that slot and we left.

We walked over to the movie theater to try to buy our tickets but it was not open yet. So we just walked around for several blocks until it opened. It is a little hot out today! 

We buy are tickets for the movie "Escape Plan" starring Sly Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was a very good movie and so was the popcorn.

After the movie we visited a few more casinos but we did not do much. We returned to New York, New York to eat dinner. We ate at a place called "Gonzalez" it is a Mexican restaurant. Elise ordered tacos and I ordered enchiladas. Of course we both had margaritas.

After dinner we hit the slots in New York, New York for a short while. We played using $200.00 and we won another $140.00 so we quit and we headed for our room.

It has been a very good trip for us. The highlight of the trip was the meeting up with Ross and Denise from Australia. They are a wonderful couple full of life and energy and that is what it is all about.

We got up and I went down to get us some coffee from Starbucks. I dropped a few coins in a slot and then I returned to our room. We got packed up and Elise and I both went back down to play the slots for a very short time. We checked out of our room and we loaded up the Prius and we are homeward bound. Viva Las Vegas! What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
