      Happy Easter! I started the day off at 4:30am by giving thanks for this day and for my family and friends that are here now and also to the ones who have left us.


      Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up soon to care for Chris. I have gotten him settled and he is ready to begin his day. Any plans for today?


      The coffee has not started to brew yet but I do have my cup at the ready position. We are going to go out for breakfast this morning at The Egg Connection.


       Our traditional gathering was very nice yesterday. It was good to see everyone there. I did eat a little and it was delicious. I would have eaten more but we had a dinner planned with Bobby at Fleming's Steakhouse and  Wine Bar. It is really different at the gatherings because Mum is not there physically but she is spiritually. 


       We returned home and we got ready for Fleming's. Bobby was caring for Chris while we were at the family gathering. So he left to get ready for dinner and he returned at around 5:45pm and we headed out.


       The dinner at Fleming's was excellent. We shared a bottle of red and later Bobby ordered a martini. We started off with a nice salad, and we all ordered the lobster and fillet. We also shared green beans,garlic mashed potatoes and peppercorn mashed potatoes. For dessert we shared a chocolate lave cake with ice cream and whipped cream. Elise  and I had coffee and we shared a Sambuca that was very good but they were out of the five coffee beans for good luck. It was a wonderful evening and quite expensive.


      We returned home and Bobby picked up his car and we said our goodbyes for the evening. Bobby will be here this afternoon for Easter dinner with us and he will work with Rosie this evening caring for Chris.


       Well, I had better get busy and find something to get into. Have a wonderful Easter Sunday! The coffee is done!
