How are you doing? I just got back from the DDC and I have to tell you I lost my shirt and one leg of my pants as well. No luck today at all, but I did replace my players card that I lost. I think I should have had a couple of Jack and Cokes. I might have had better luck. What do you think? I had fun anyway!
It is heating up this afternoon here in the valley of Tucson. Well, here is some more about our Vegas trip. Enjoy!
25 April 12
We woke up at 8:00am and we are ready to face the day! We will go down to the food court and grab some breakfast. We went to Mickey D's again.
We both had eggs, sausage, and hash browns and a biscuit. Of course we had coffee to give us that extra kick start. We walked around the casino and we discovered an area we had not been in yet. So we checked it out!
Later we walked on the strip to see what was going on and to drop in other casinos along the way. Vegas is the best place to people watch, we love doing that. We are taking it slow and easy today.
We spent about $300.00 total in the casino's today and we ended up with only $60.00 to bring home. So not a good day at the slots, but fun indeed.
We returned to our room for a short break and then we needed something for dinner. We hit the food court again and Elise got a huge bowl of yogurt that was very good. I got a hot dog from Nathans Famous Hot Dogs and some fries.
After we ate we decided to hit the slots one more time before we called it a night. No luck again! We went back to our room and we called it a night.
26 April 12
We departed Las Vegas at around 10:00am heading for home. Well, wouldn't you know it there was another accident on the same highway as the one we were on coming to Vegas. We did not see the accident but the road was blocked off and detoured around that accident. Wow, what is with this road, eh?
We got home at around 4:00pm and unloaded the Prius and we rested for a little bit. At around 5:30pm we left for dinner at Oregano's. We ordered a bottle of red of course, and a large pizza and some chicken wings. It was all very good and we enjoyed it. For dessert we each had a Bellini and man was that wonderful. That was the official ending to our trip. It was a good one.
