Did you have a good day today? It was a warm one here in Tucson, but we always get through it.

My day was a good one up until around 1:45pm. We didn't like the way that Chris was looking and acting so we put him back to bed. Come to find out the caregiver did not complete a task well. So, I hydrated, and I gave him an extra bullet pill. He is now laughing and feeling much, much better. He was having an intestinal issue that the caregiver did not complete. 

Chris is now downing his supplemental drip and watching TV. My playmate is back from her book club meeting that took place at "Locale" an Italian restaurant here in Tucson. She brought me back s dish of Polenta , mascarpone ragu. It is delicious let me tell you. I got it down with a nice ice cold "Red Stripe" birra.

I started a new rock today but with the caregiver's shortcoming I had to put it off. I hope to complete it tomorrow.

Jackie will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few errands to take care of this morning. I have to make a run over on the eastside and I need to pick up some ink for the printer. I asked her to play some "Blues" for me while Chris the iRobot comes out of his cradle to clean the main house carpet.

My shorty prepared corn on the cob for dinner, with some baby carrots and mashed potatoes. We watched "Ozarks" on Netflix with Chris. Such a good series we will be saddened when it ends.

I ordered a Murder Mystery Dinner today and I will download it tomorrow. We will work out a date with the crew about when to have it.

The coffee is a good Cinnamon Blend, and a second cup will be downed at the "Egg Connection" along with a good breakfast. It is another warm one this morning here in Tucson.

Elise is caring for Chris today up until 5:00pm when Sister Jayne arrives. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete. I do have to take care of my normal Domenica tasks, getting Chris set up for next week.

My playmate and I will start new rocks soon. We will drop off a rock at the "Egg Connection" this morning.

We had a wonderful evening with our daughter Tangye and David at "Mama Louisa's". We haven't been there in a long time. The food was as good as ever and so was the liter of Chianti. We are all caught up with the latest happenings with them. We topped the evening off here with a shot of "Sambuca" with whole coffee beans. Delicious! Thank you Tangye and David for a very nice evening.

Are you all set for "Memorial Day"? Remember it is not about the food and fixings. It is about my comrades in arms who gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can stay free. I salute you!

Hey, how was your day? It has been a fair day for Chris and me. He had another wedgy again today, but it was not a major one like yesterday. I corrected the problem without getting him out of his chair.

I chatted with mio moglie today. And she is tired and exhausted. That is a worry for me, but she assured me that she will be ok. She got through (SNAFU), that really would have pissed me off big time. I am sure that she will be glad to be back at home tomorrow and so will I.

Chris and I enjoyed a good (good zombie) movie today. We both were cracking up because it was so funny and silly.

How are you doing? Did you Lunedi go the way that you wished it would? 

I have to tell you that mine did not, but my challenge word said it all for me today.

It is not the mio moglie is away but something else causing the issue. It is a good thing that mio fidanzata is here to keep me together. She is a real sweetie to me. I love her for that deeply.

Anyway, Elise is enjoying her stay in California so far, but it has had its (Twilight Zone) moments.

I worked on a new rock today and I completed it. I did such a good job on it that it may become a (keeper). Here it is, enjoy!

Chris was very uncomfortable in his chair this afternoon. So, I checked it out and come to find out he had a major wedgy. I mean a super wedgy. The kind that I had to put him back to bed to correct it. 

He is now relived and watching TV. I will start his evening supplement soon. He will also be treated with some Key Lime yogurt.

What is going on around your way? It is starting to heat up here in the valley of Tucson.

I just returned from taking care of my tasks for today. I dropped in on the airbase to pay a bill and I looked at microwaves. I gassed up the "Green Lady" and she is washed. She has a huge smile on her nameplate.

I got a text from my fidanzata stating that she is looking forward to this evening at PF Changs. I am sure the hugs and kisses will be plentiful, smile! They have some good Asian BBQ ribs there as an appetizer. WooHoo!

Chris is resting and listening to some classical music on a CD. He is singing along and having some water via a drip.

My shorty and I enjoyed Happy Hour at "La Parrilla Suiza. After Happy Hour we drove over to "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play "Body Awareness". It was excellent and the acting was wonderful. We recommend this one for sure.

Yesterday I got a (atmosfera) from one of my favorite Blues songs. That song is titled "Tennessee Whiskey". It reminds me of mio moglie, mio fidanzata, and my girlfriends. Here is a verse from the song:

We attended a Memorial Service for Mr. Danny Blake, yesterday. It was a good service with a nice crowd, and it was video streamed as well.  My playmate was one of many who took the podium and the mike to speak about Danny. She did a excellent job and I was proud of her. Here is the poem that was read at the service.  Rest In Peace now Danny.

After breakfast we will be attending a memorial service for Mr. Danny Blake, the founder of the Blake Foundation here in Tucson. Danny was a longtime family friend and counselor for Chris. Danny and his partner Gene have been together for 25 years. He will be missed in the community.

Later today we will hit up a movie at the "Loft" titled "Hit the Road". The previews looked good.

My playmate and I are working on new rocks. We will drop a few at "Gus Balones" this morning.

Today is Chefs Day. My Sous Chef and I will be preparing fried catfish and fries. Of course, my Sous will select a good libation to go along with dinner.

How are you doing? I hope way better than I am. It has been one of those days.

I had planned on napping after I completed my tasks for today, but no I could not do that. Today has been way out of sorts. So out of sorts that my head is pounding from the stress of the day. It is so bad that I am nursing a shot of 21-year-old Cognac. I will be looking forward to hitting the sheets tonight.

My playmate prepared breakfast for dinner. We had blueberry pancakes, sausages, eggs and coffee. It was all good. We watched "This Is Us" on DVD with Chris.

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is enjoying his supplemental drip and he is watching TV.

I got my errands taken care of and I worked on a new rock. My playmate is putting on the finishing touches on her latest creations.

I took it slow and easy today because my left knee is acting up today. Hopefully it will be all better tomorrow. It is an old service injury that acts up whenever it wishes to.

My playmate prepared mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes and corn on the cob for dinner. It was all good. We watched "This Is Us' on DVD with Chris. It really is a good series.

 I am caring for Chris tonight. My shorty in the main house watching the news on TV. Chris is enjoying his supplemental drip. I will hook him up with some mashed potatoes and avocado as well. Chris enjoyed his massage today from Rosemarie.

My shorty and I are talking about another staycation at Casino Del Sol for mid-June. We had such a good time there. Here are some pics from our staycation with some Cha Ching winning tickets. The winnings totaled out to be $2,444.00 dollars. WooHoo!

My girlfriend Edwina contacted me today to say that she is still my girlfriend. Shoo Shoo told me today that she noticed the lady in green checking me out last night. She kept an eye on her for real! It made my (fidanzata) happy to know that Shoo Shoo was looking out. Smile!

Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a good night and get plenty of sleep so you can be ready for Taco Tuesday.
