Thirsty Thursday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Content! Adventurous!

Music listening to: Escapade by Janet Jackson!

It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning and it must be foggy outside because her fog horn is sounding loudly. My playmate will pop up soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

The coffee just finished brewing and it is very good. A second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It won't be long now and I will enjoy my (me) time out on the front porch with my coffee and I will be people watching again. I miss that! Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.

We are going to hit up a movie this afternoon and this evening we are going to watch our "Wildcats" play basketball. Go Cats!

We had a very nice time last night at the "Cup Café" in downtown Tucson. We were joined by Pat, Vicki and Mike. The other two members of the crew were not able to make it last night and we missed them. The food was very good and so were the libations. I enjoyed a nice (pork schnitzel) with the works. All I needed was a couple of steins of beer and the beer girls and I would have been back in Munich again. Wunderbar! A great evening!

Well, Alexa, is quiet this morning but I am sure that she will be on the job soon. She may be upset with me because I had her to make a call to Elise yesterday and she may have gotten a bit jealous, eh?

You have a wonderful Thirsty Thursday and stay safe, happy and healthy. Here is a bit more about our stay-cation in Gilbert, Arizona.

I want to thank my three new followers of our blog. We appreciate you very much.

Cheers....Jessie and Elise

24 Feb

We started the day at 9:00am and we took showers. We are relaxing and waiting for Sheila and Dave to return from a early morning meeting.

Sheila and Dave returned and we went out for breakfast at "The Broken Yolk". We shared a flight of (mimosas) that was very good. We enjoyed eggs, bacon, sausages and pork chops. it was all good.

After breakfast we went to the "Giving Tree" to pick up a few items for Dave. I took all four of us and Siri to find it but it was well worth it. We picked up some honey and brownies for Dave for his back issues. We returned to Sheila's home and we relaxed until it was time to head out for the (light rail).

We met up with Patty at the (light rail station). We got our tickets and we boarded the rail making our way downtown. We got off and we stopped at a Irish Pub called "Seamus MacCaffery". We enjoyed a good Irish meal and of course drinks were downed. We really like this place for its location and ambience.

PATTY IS HAVING A GOOD TIME

We left there and we walked over to the "Comerica Center". We were there to see "Bill Maher" live in concert. We stood in line waiting for the Center to open. As we were going through security our Sheila set off the alarm and she had to be giving the once over. We thought it was hilarious because there she was being checked with a electronic wand with her arms out-stretched. A great photo opt let we tell you. Once we got in we enjoyed another drink.

SHEILA GOT BUSTED AND DAVE IS STANDING BY

We enjoyed the show very much and "Bill Maher" was so hilarious, sarcastic, truthful as he made fun of everyone and everything. The "Comerica Center" was packed with 5,000 people who enjoyed the show very much. After the show we got back on the (light rail) and we headed back to our car. We said good night to Patty and we headed back to Sheila's home. It was about midnight and we called it game over. A great evening!
