It's the Weekend! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she will be up and on the go soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and I will enjoy a second cup this morning out on the front porch during my me time. Rick will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this evening.
One of yesterdays post to our blog was a (SNAFU) on my part. I left out a letter in the site address and it took you to Amazon. My bad! It must to have been hunger pains or something like that, eh?
We got to meet Jayne's sister yesterday and she is very regal and a very educated lady. She got to meet Chris as well. It was a good day! She got to spend some time with Jayne before she heads to Phoenix this morning. She gave us some fantastic gifts from Kenya that are beautiful. She also passed along some gifts for us from her sister Mary as well. I was impressed. Thank you!
We enjoyed our dinner at "Cody's Beef and Bean" last night with Deb and Sharon. We were joined by Bobby. The food was as good as ever and the carafe of Burgundy was spot on. Ya, ya! A wonderful evening. Thank you Sharon and Deb.
My shorty and I are going to the movies this evening. We are also going to chat about what we should pack for our trip to Laughlin. We will be hitting the road on Wednesday with Dottie and Jayne. We are hoping to Cha Ching big time.
Well, I had better get busy. We were visited by our daughter Tangye yesterday. Elise gave her the tickets for Disneyland that she won at a raffle that was put on by the Invisible Theater. It was four tickets valued at over $600.00. We are sure that Tangye and the kids will have a good time when they go. Tomorrow after breakfast we will be visited by our other daughter Kim. She will be bringing Hudson our grandson by for a visit.
