It's A Monday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Disappointed

It's a Monday, Beware! What's Up? I started the day off at 4:30am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning and she has a Stone Hedge thing going on made out of pillows. Wait a minute one of the pillows toppled over and now I can see her. I am assuming that she will be up shortly and headed for the gym. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good this morning and I am going to have an instant breakfast in a glass to start the day. I have to run an errand this morning to turn in some paperwork. Other than that I have nothing planned except to contact Fernada it Italy to check on the weather.

We had a wonderful evening last night at "Monterey Court" We had a surprise gathering for Marty's birthday and it was so much fun. Good food, great music, and wonderful friends. I was tapping my feet along with the great live jazz that was playing. Shoo and Stu got up to shake their groove thang and so did Paula and Marty. Jane and John were there and it was good to see them, because we have not seen them in a while. We were hoping Bobby would have been there but he was feeling under the weather.

I am going to go over our packing list many times to make sure that we pack everything that we need for our trip. Well, I had better get busy with Chris and get him settled before I run my quick errand.

16 Sept 12

We got up at around 8:30am and a fire was started in the pit by Bobby and Johnny. We began to clean up the area for our departure back to Tucson. Elise fixed a pot of coffee that really hit the spot.

Johnny took a trip down to the creek to wash his hands. He came running back in a hurry because as he was washing his hands he saw a bear on the other side of the creek. He let all of know that the bear was nearby.

After we cleaned up everything and secured the cabin we all got into our cars and we headed up the road to Portal, AZ for breakfast. The food and the coffee was pretty good. It was my treat this morning. After breakfast we said our good-byes and we headed for Tucson. Ann and Johnny headed back to the "Bathtub" to wad in the water for a while.

It was a great trip and we are talking about the possibility of going back in November. Our host Sheila gave us a set of keys to the cabin and I thought that was wonderful. She is such a good friend. Our next trip is to Florence, Italy in a couple of weeks.
