It's A Monday! Labor Day!

Good Morning!

Mood: Concerned

Music listening to: Me And Mrs. Jones by Billy Paul

It's Labor Day and it's a Monday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up shortly. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and I think I will have a slice of ham and a English muffin this morning. How about you?

We got a very hard rain yesterday evening at around 4:30pm. It was raining sheets and the streets were flooded and our backyard. We can always use the rain here in the desert, but this was a gully-washer indeed. We had thunder boomers, lightening, and so high winds along with it all. The fur-babies were a little worried for awhile, but they calmed down.

Rosie arrived to care for Chris at 5:00pm. We headed out for Zemans for dinner with Paula, Marty, Shoo and Stu. We had a very nice time and the food was great and we shared three bottles of red between us. Paula and Marty introduced us to a red that was very good (but it did not have a nose), it was nice and smooth for a table wine. It was a very nice evening. Shoo and Stu, thank you for a wonderful meal! Paula and Marty thank you for the wonderful macaroons for dessert.

We returned home and Elise hit the pillow to read for awhile. I watched TV and worked on a crossword puzzle until Rosie left for the night. I checked on Chris and I called it a night.

We hope that your day is a good one, free of problems and stress.Enjoy!
