It's a Domenica! Come Stai? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise will be over shortly to care for Chris. Any plans for today?
I am enjoying my cup of Jamaican coffee and a second cup will be downed at the "Egg Connection" along with a nice breakfast. Jayne will be here this afternoon to care for Chris.
Alexa, reminded me that my playmate and I have a even to attend today at the DDC. We have been invited to attend the "Dia De La Independencia Fiesta". Yes, we have become DDC VIP's. Smile! We are looking forward the this event along with pulling of a few slots while we are there. Cha Ching hopefully. The (Keno Queen) Dottie has won over $2000.00 over the past couple of days. WooHoo!
We enjoyed a very nice dinner at "Downtown Kitchen and Bar" last night. The place was packed. We started off with a glass of a very nice red. We enjoyed a appetizer of (KFC) Korean Fried Chicken that was delicious. My playmates entrée was Warmed Grilled Quail, Cherries, Slow Roasted Tomatoes, Golden Beets and Polenta Crotons that were so good they remined me of living in Italy.
I enjoyed Grilled marinated Flank Steak, Fennel/Cherry Mostaro, Olive Oil Crushed Potatoes, Castelveltrano Olives. For dessert we enjoyed a Peach Amaretti Gelato, Marsala Zabaglione/ Pistachio/Almond Nougut and two cups of coffee. Delicious!
After dinner we strolled over to the "Arizona Theater Company" to see the play "Native Gardens". This play was outstanding and it deserved the standing ovation that it got. A great play about striving to get the American Dream and striving not to lose it. Very well done and the theater was packed to include the balcony.
