What is up?
Well,, here is a bit more about our trip to Firenze. Enjoy!

We got up at 11:30am this morning. Yikes! Went hit the sheets at 8:30pm we were tired and achy. Elise's leg was hurting really bad and she tossed and turned during the night. She took 2 extra strength aspirin and that did the trick and she finally got to sleep.
The guys that usually show up across the did so at around midnight with their beers but this time they were pretty quiet and they keep shushing each other, so someone must to have complained.
In fact, a group of young Americans walking by in a whirlwind of of shouts and drunken laughter were the culprits this time. We are not planning on doing much today because we are tired and sore.
We decided to walk to the Ponte Vecchio and look around. We looked at art and we bought a drawing being sold by a street vendor. Then we tried a trattoria that Elaine and Bill suggested. It was great.
We both ordered a glass of vino rosso. For our first course we crusted bread with various toppings on it. One was tomato. one was liver pate', one was red sauce, one was with mushrooms, and one has sausages in a sauce. ALL GOOD!
Then Elise had spaghetti with meat sauce, and I had tortellini with meat sauce. We both were very happy with our choices. After lunch we walked around on the Ponte Vecchio and bought 3 tee-shirts for $15 euros. Elise spotted 2 more tee-shirts that she liked and she bought those at a cost of 2 for $24 euros.
We walked some more and we stopped to get some gelato. I got a limoncello gelato, and Elise got a cone filled with banana gelato and rice pudding gelato. It was HUGE! Oh so good. There was a lady dressed as one of the living statues but she did not stay still. She was very animated and she mimicked the people passing by. She even mimicked Elise while she was eating her gelato. She started to show that her stomach was swelling from the gelato that Elise was eating.
We watched her for a long time she was very entertaining. Elise gave me the rest of her cone and she went over to put some coins in her hat. She then asked Elise in perfect English if she had eaten the whole cone, and Elise replied" No my husband ate the rest" and she started to laugh. We also bought a few postcards and a few bookmarks as gifts.
On the way back to our B&B we stopped at the kebob place and bought some beans, a gyro and a few more Moretti birras for dinner. It was a good peaceful and relaxing day in Firenze. We chilled out for the rest of the day.
