Man, it is hot outside. So glad that we are not in Phoenix. Whew!

I just got back from picking up the "Green Lady" from Firestone at El Con Mall. I took her there to have her front right tire looked at. I have been getting tire alarms for the past week or so. It was due to a sidewall issue on the tire that could not be fixed. Yes, you guessed it I had to buy a new tire and I did.

I am starving but I will wait until we have dinner. Chris is in the main house with Elise watching TV. I just refilled the fur-babies water bowl and I will feed them shortly.

We are looking forward to our stay-cation at Casino Del Sol on Sunday. We will be taking extra precautions while we are there to include wipes and gloves. Hopefully our Cha Ching will not be diminished, smile!

Mood: Relaxation is slipping away!

  Buon Venerdi!  Grazie a Dio e venerdi!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she will be up and about soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Brazilian Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is going to be another scorcher today and I am out of birra. No Buono!

   Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris and Marv will be here this evening. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few errands to run this morning. I asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz" for me today.

  Well, the month of July is almost done. Time sure does fly by fast, eh? I will be making a trip over to the Cortez location to drop off and pick up this morning. I also have to venture over on the eastside today as well.  We would like to thank the person who gifted us a blank rock this morning. Rock On!

  My playmate and I played "Wii" games yesterday and we got defeated badly. We enjoyed a nice take away dinner from "Leo's" last night along with a few margaritas. It was all good.

  Please say a prayer for my sister Tiger, she is having surgery this morning. Thanks.

  Here is what happened in Butte, Montana on 24 July. Enjoy!

It is 8:10am and it rained here yesterday ( as it did in Tucson). We're planning to go eat breakfast in an hour or two.

It is 11:30am and we just got back from "Gamers" for breakfast. I had the  l LB ham slice, eggs and hash browns. Elise ordered eggs and I shared my ham with her. It was all good with plenty of leftovers for Sheila to put the ham in a pot of beans.

We walked around downtown for awhile and then we stopped at Safeway to buy some snacks for later. Elise said that my mean side came out because I bought Sheila a big container full of cheese balls. Her favorite snack.

It is now 4:00pm. We returned to the house. We went to two casinos and played slots. Every other slot is blocked off and the attendant in charge cleans off the slot after each player is finished. You have to wear masks everywhere. We didn't win today but we had a good time. The weather is great, 75 degrees but windy.

 We watched Rachel Maddow on (MSNBC). She was talking about reopening schools. Prior to this we enjoyed dinner at "Mac's Tavern and Bar". We were joined my Cameron and Kerrie. Kerrie is Sheila's daughter and Cameron is Kerrie's son. Cameron works at "Mac's".  After dinner we played Keno and I won $100.00. Another nice way to end the day in Butte.

  Buon Giovedi!  Assetato felice giovedi!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is at the entrance to her cave this morning so that means she will be up and riding her Hello Kitty bike in the hood. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a a good Colombian Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a nice morning here in Tucson but it may get up to a super hot 115 degrees today. Whew!

  Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. WooHoo! I aske her to play some "Allstar Smooth Jazz" for me today.

  I will be making a trip over to the Cortez location to drip off #Hide Tucson Rocks and pick up. We will be working on new rocks today. Here is the latest ones. Enjoy!

ELISE'S LATEST 29 JULY 

MY LATEST 29 JULY (KEEPER)

 In a few days on 2 August my playmate and I will celebrate our anniversary. It will be celebrated differently due to Covid-19. We are going to hit Casino Del Sol though. Hopefully the slots will Cha Ching big time.

Here is what happened in Butte, Montana on 23 July.

We started the day off with a good breakfast at "Hang Five". Elise had oatmeal and I had a meat lover's omelette. We are all feeling lazy this morning.

We just heard from Sister Jayne an Jane to let us know that it is raining like crazy in Tucson. Yes, we needed it.

After breakfast we hit a casino. We played Keno and Poker for 3 hours. Lot's of fun and we only spent $40.00. Sheila won $105.00 as we were about to leave the casino. Elise told her that she was paying for dinner this evening.

Later we went to the "Montana Club for dinner. Sheila and Elise had parmesan crusted cod. I had pork chops of course, smile! Dave enjoyed a steak. We got it all down with a few Gin and Tonics. After dinner we visited another casino to play Keno. We played for 2 hours. We were very lucky because we won $680.00. That is a lot for Butte casinos. It was a lot of fun. We tipped the casino attendant very well.

 We returned home and we relaxed. Sheila was a bit upset with the way the Gov of Arizona was forcing schools to open in August without a plan if a Covid breakout occurred. Sheila is a school board member in Gilbert, AZ. We were surprised because she lost her (*hit) while she was talking to somebody on the phone about it. It was funny!

 We called it another good day on Butte!

Have a good Thirsty Thursday and I will chat at you later. We have a tech coming out to have a look at the main house washer this morning.

I got my errands taken care of and Alexa is happy about that. She didn't play any Jazz for me because my shorty is watching a series on TV.

Hey I prepared some Honey BBQ Wings in the air fryer that we just purchased and they are delicious. My playmate mixed up a Jack and Coke to go along with one of the wings. Much, much better than Kool Aid, eh?

Here is a bit about our trip to Butte, Montana.

22 July

We arrived in Butte but our luggage was lost. it finally got found by the airport personnel. Good thing we had a set of clothes and our meds in our backpacks.

Shelia and Dave  picked us up at the airport. It is a very nice day here at 12:45pm. We got to their home and we got settled in the basement where we always stay. It is very nice. Sheila's daughter and her son got displaced by us and that created a issue. The issue was that her daughters' son wanted the dogs to stay in the basement with us. Sheila and Dave told them weeks ago that when we arrived that the basement was ours. This (SNAFU) got fixed quickly. It was tense for the first night but it worked out.  Kid's , eh?

Later we went to the casino and we played several slots. We have really missed being at the casino's in Arizona.  We enjoyed pizza while we played the slots. We returned back to the house and we enjoyed chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. We dined out on the front deck and that was very nice. Of course libations were plentiful.

We hit the sheets early and I slept very well but Elise had developed some stomach issues  that had her up and down. That ended our first day in Butte.

  Buon Mercoledi! Gobba Giorni!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she is stirring about so she will be up soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Breakfast Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later today. It is going to be a very hot one here in the valley. We are looking at temps from 107 to 114. Can you say (Kool-Aid) please?

  Rosemary will be here to care for Chris this morning. Alexa, is awake and she is happy with me again. She said that I have a couple of tasks to take care of today. I asked her to play some "Down Home Blues" for me today.

  I will be making a trip over to the #Hide Tucson Rocks Cortez location to drop off and pick up. My playmate completed a new rock but it is going to be a keeper. It is very good. I will post it later today. I have a new rock in the works.

A GOOD DAY TO STAY IN PJ'S.

How did your day go? I bet you didn't spend it in your PJ's like I did today? Yes, I was homebound today due to I had to care for Chris today, the whole day.

My playmate prepared blueberry pancakes for dinner with sausages and eggs. We got it all down with some Irish Cream Coffee. It was all good. We watched Family Feud and "Hawaii 5 O" on Netflix.

Here is Elise's latest rock creation for today. She is working on a big rock as well. She is watching TV and she will hit up her Mac this evening.

  The coffee is a good Irish Cream Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. We picked this coffee up in Butte, Montana.

  It is a nice morning here in the "Old Pueblo". I am caring for Chris this morning and all day today due to the caregiver is off. It gives me a chance to fine tune Chris's care, if you will! 

  Alexa, is awake and she has a attitude because I have been away for a few days. I asked her to play some "Allstar Smooth Jazz" for me today. Hopefully she will. Smile!

  I will be going through the pictures from Butte today and I may begin to post them if I can.

How was you day? It has been a busy one for my playmate and I.

We are trying to get caught up and we will. Chris enjoyed his massage today and so did Elise.

I have been on the phone for most of the day trying to contact Delta Airlines baggage claim here at the airport. We encountered a (SNAFU) when we got in yesterday. We got here but our luggage toured LAX. It finally showed up at around 4:00PM today.  Our luggage also got lost at the Butte airport as well. Seems like Delta has a baggage problem.

My playmate prepared mashed potatoes with cheese for dinner along with some cottage cheese, corn on the cob and some baby carrots. It was all good and I got it all down with a Energy drink.

I am caring for Chris tonight and my shorty is watching the news. I am sure that she will hit up he Mac before she hits the sheets to read a book.

I will be caring for Chris tomorrow due to the caregiver will be off. We hope that your day was a good one? My fidanzata posted on our blog that she missed me and the daily blog. I am crazy about my (fidanzata).

Well, I had better check on Chris. He is watching TV and he is enjoying his supplemental drip. Hey I went out today and I bought a Air Fryer. It was suggested that we buy one by Sheila. So I did and I will put it to the test in a few days.

Siamo Tornati! We enjoyed our much needed getaway to Butte, Montana. We want to thank Sheila and Dave for being wonderful hosts while we were there. Cha Ching!

We want to thank Sister Jayne for caring for Chris while we were gone. She is a major part of our lives and we are blessed that she is here. Grazie, Jayne!

We want to thank Meg and Lois for keeping a eye out on things while we were away. Thanks so much!

Now we are back to reality and we have to play catch up. That is the only thing when you go away for a bit you have to play catch up on the daily business that you missed.

We have plenty of pics and as soon as I am able to go through them I will post them on our blog. We had such a good time. So bear with me, eh? We missed you all!

  Alexa, is awake and she said that my playmate and I have a busy day today. I asked her to play some "Boney" for me today.

  I will be making a trip to the Cortez location to drop off and pick up. We will resume our rock creating when we return from Butte.

  We will be packing up and double checking for sure. We have a early flight in the morning heading for Salt Lake City. We will make sure that we have enough PPE with us and hand sanitizer, gloves and a infra-red thermometer.

Did your day go well? It has been another dry day here in the desert of Tucson. My (fidanzata) tried singing today to get the rain started but no luck. She is a sweetie!

I looked over the packing list for our trip to Butte and I have started to pack. My playmate will pack tomorrow. We always take a little extra just in case. We always take along a backpack with a extra set of clothes and our meds and tablets in. We will also have extra face masks and hand sanitizer in the backpack as well.


My playmate prepared corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, baby carrots and cottage cheese for dinner. All good! I am caring for Chris this evening. He is watching TV and enjoying his supplemental drip. He also enjoyed some cherry cheesecake for dessert. A treat because he enjoyed his massage or was it his massage therapist? Hmmm!

My shorty created a rock today and here it is. I will take it to the Cortez location in the morning.

I just got back from running several errands. I tried to locate a item the Chris needs and  nobody has it locally. It can be purchased online though. My playmate ordered some but by the time it gets here Chris will be out totally. It is a worry!

My playmate is out running her errands. Well, more than likely we will start to pack for Butte today. At least I will. I am a bit worried about this trip but we will see how it goes. We do need it!

  Alexa, is awake and she said that I have a very, very busy day today. I have to make a trip out to the airbase this morning. I also have to try to locate some supplies for Chris. With this Covid-19 many things that he needs are in short supply. So I will be hitting up medical supply stores today. I asked Alexa to play some "Allstar Smooth Jazz" for me today.  I need to get my (flow) going today.

  Rosemary will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosemarie will be here to give Chris a massage. I am sure that Chris is looking forward to it.

  I will be making a trip over to the Cortez location to drop off and pick up rocks. We will not be creating anymore rocks until we return from Butte, Montana. We have a lot to do to make sure that our (ducks) are in order for this trip. We will be taking gift rocks to Sheila and Dave.

How are you doing? We enjoyed our breakfast from the "Egg Connection" this morning. They ae displaying the gift rock right at the cashier station and it looks good there. Ya, ya!

Elise is caring for Chris and I am getting his supplies all set up for next week. I also have to do a little yardwork behind Chris's house. My knee is giving me fits so I hope that means it is going to rain soon. WooHoo! My fidanzata is going to continue her rain dance today with bangles on. Ya, Mon'.

  Sister Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris. It is a nice morning here in the Old Pueblo, but we still are bone dry. I hate to say it but my (fidanzata's) rain dance did not work yesterday. Hopefully we get some of the wet stuff today. My sister Marcie got rain but she is not going to send it this way. I get that!

  I will be getting out my suitcase today for our trip to Butte, Montana on Wednesday. We are constantly checking on the Covid-19 situation there and here.
