Good Morning
Mood: Taking it Slow
Music listening to: Summertime by Will Smith
Yes, it's a Monday without a doubt! ! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is still on the river this morning but she will be on dry land shortly to start her day. Any plans?
We had a very, very nice evening with Paula and Marty. We met up at Zemams but it was closed for Easter Sunday, so we went elsewhere. Paula and Marty suggested we go to "The Hub" in downtown Tucson and we did. I must tell you it was a treat. It is a very nice place and the food was great.
After dinner we went to Paula and Marty's home and we had a dessert that was to croak for. Paula made a chocolate cake (gluten-free) that was very good and so very moist. Along with the cake we had ice cream from "The Hub" and it was very good too. We sat and talked for awhile and then we had to leave to get back home before Rosemary left for the night. It was a very nice evening.
Earlier in the day Elise went up into the foothills for the traditional family dinner for Easter. I didn't go because I felt that it would not be she same being that Mum was not there in person. Elise returned home and she said that it went well until a SNAFU appeared and that changed the way the dinner was going. It wasn't a good scene but Elise got through it and she held her ground. Elise is relived and I am glad that she stuck to her guns. Family can be a huge pain at times, eh?
Well, any who, we survived another day and we can start another. Have a great Monday and stay safe.
Later..............
