Good Night
Well the day has just about ended. How did your day go? Chris's visit to the dentist went well and he rested an slept most of the day. Well, he is talking up a storm right now, smile!
I didn't get to go to the DDC to pickup my perks, but it was best I stayed around the house to make sure Chris did not have any side effects. Elise's MRI was denied by our insurance company because they want a history built up on meds and physical therapy for at least 4 to 6 weeks before they approve the MRI.
Elise says that she is feeling better after her treatments today. We watched a movie on Netflix this evening called " Just ask My Children" it was very good but it was sad as well. It was about how therapist and counselors persuade you children to admit child abuse and sexual molestation by there parents or guardians.
Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had buckwheat pancakes, sausages, and hot coffee. Excellent! I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is resting and catching up on her email. Well, here is a what happened on our trip to the mountains on Saturday. Have a great night!

We had breakfast at Roberts and the food was very good. We even bought a couple of tee shirts with their logo on it. We gassed up the Tacoma and we headed for the mountains in the Portal, AZ area. We arrived and Sheila and Teresa were sitting outside of the cabin relaxing. It was good to see them. We unloaded the pick-up and we joined them sitting outside.
We snacked and talked while we were waiting for Paula and Marty to arrive. Ann, Eddie and Jonny arrive and they unloaded and joined us. We began to worry about Paula and Marty because they had not made an appearance as of yet. We could not call them due to no phone service was available.
After a while Elise and I took a walk on a flat path. We did not want to chance trekking up and down hills or slipping on rocks due to Elise's back and leg might give her problems. The hike was nice and she did very well. We returned to the campsite and I became a professional Pug Herder. Sheila brought along her two Pugs and we had a good time walking around. Very nice dogs and very smart too!
Paula and Marty arrived and told us what delayed them. Now it was time to grub down. Sheila prepared great steaks, beans, salsa. Paula and Marty made a great salad and we all chowed down, and the Pugs did too! The beer was flowing and the wine and of course Jack and Coke made several appearances. It was a wonderful meal under the trees. Later we roasted marshmallows and listened to music on Sheila's IPod.
Later in the evening Elise and Ann spread their Mom's and Dad's ashes in several places in the woods and near the stream. It was a very emotional moment and many tears were flowing. We all continued to sit around the fire to rest, relax and reflect. I was getting dark and we all decide to call it a night.

I was up at 6:00am and I took a walk and I took a few photos of the area. I returned to the cabin and I started a fire in the pit and I just chilled out. I was joined by Eddie and we sat around listening to the birds sing and the bees hum. Slowly others started to stir. Sheila, then Elise and last was Ann and Jonny. We all went to Portal for breakfast. The food was very good. We returned to the campsite and we began to pack up and clean up the area. We said our goodbyes and we decided that we must to this again. It was a great trip, but short.
Above are a few pics that I took while we were in the mountains. Enjoy!
