TGIF! How are you? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning but it doesn't look like she will be putting feet to the floor very soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and my banana, strawberry, vanilla whey smoothie is calling to me this morning. It is a nice 71 degrees here in the Old Pueblo, but that will change very quickly.
Elise is hosting a Marathon Bridge game here this afternoon at 1:00pm. Chris and I will be checking out the inventory of cars for sure. We hope that the pickings are better than the last time. Of course we will keep an eye out for the wheelchair/scooter lady. She likes to sneak up every now and again looking for some Jack Daniels.
We are going to go out for Happy Hour at La Parrilla Suiza this evening. After that we will head for the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play "Souvenir" a one woman play that the reviewers really enjoyed. After the play we will meet up with Bobby at Applebee's for a late dinner.
Well, Elise and I picked up my date Lila last night and we dropped by the "Forum" to visit one of the bidders and shufflers for a short while.
After the visit we went to "La Placita " for dinner. The food was very good and the house margaritas were a hit. So good that Elise and I had two of them. I have to tell you that "Lila" is a very good date and she is a keeper, smile! I must be doing something right to be able to date her, eh? She even picked up the check as well, wow I have it going on! Thank you Lila!
Well, I had better get to it. Have a good TGIF and be careful out there.
