Tricky Tuesday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Sleepy

Music listening to: Joy by Teddy Pendergrass

It's a Tricky Tuesday! What is new? I started the day off at 4:00am due to Lampchop was having a bark-fest for some reason. Elise is not in here cave and the bark-fest did not seem to phase her at all, smile! I began to care for Chris since I was awake, but Chris was awake too! Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and needed badly. My banana, strawberry and whey smoothie is in the fridge waiting on me. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. I have a couple of errands to run while she is here.

I did not get a chance to start posting about our stay-cation in Gold Canyon yesterday due to some puter problems that are hanging on this morning giving me fits, smile!

It is a cold 32 degrees this morning here in the Old Pueblo but it should warm up a bit by noon, at least I hope so. Well, here is a bit about our stay-cation in Gold Canyon, enjoy!

Cheers..........Jessie and Elise

We started our stay-cation by first by stopping at the emmissions station to have the Tacoma checked. After that we stopped for breakfast at Gus Balones. We ordered our usual. Elise had the ham steak with eggs and I had the grilled pork chops and eggs. Delicious! After breakfast we stopped on the airbase to fill up the gas tank and Elise got herself a soft drink for the road. We are on our way!

We were driving along nicely and it started to rain and the rain turned into snow. It was great! We were now driving through a snow storm with huge snow flakes, it was beautiful.

We arrived in Gold Canyon at around 12:30pm and we got to Elaine's at around 1:00pm. Elaine was sitting on her front porch when we pulled up. It was good to see her and she has not changed a bit.

Elaine is a very petite and easy on the eyes. A nice bit of eye candy I must say and she is very well packaged, smile! Just being honest is all!

We got the Tacoma unpacked and we settled in to our room. Elaine became the immediate hostess and she offered us snacks and drinks. We sat and talked for awhile and then it was time to play Mahjong. Elaine had to give us a quick refresher course on how to play again.

We played a few practice games and I won twice, yes I did. We started to play for real and for money and the tide began to change. Elaine was racking us over the coals but good. We played for several hours and it was a lot of fun.

After the game Elise and Elaine decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. I relaxed with a glass of red, don't you know, smile! They were gone for about 30 minutes and they said that it was a good walk but it was chilly. Elise said that it was absolutely beautiful out with the snow covered mountains.

I received a video of Sara (Saksek) Loraditch kids playing in the snow in their yard back in Tucson, it was way too cool. I shared the video with Elise and Elaine.

Elaine started to prepare dinner at around 6:30pm or so. Elaine served up some turkey breast, garlic mashed potatoes, corn, sweet potatoes with sugar and nuts, salad and homemade cranberry bread. We got it all down with few glasses of red. It was all good!

We sat around and talked for a bit and then it was time to call it a night. A very nice day with Elaine in Gold Canyon, Arizona.
