TGIF!

Mood: Beaten Up!

   It's a TGIF! Sup? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is at the entrance to her cave so she will be up and on the move very soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is delicious. No cereal this morning due to I am out. Well,it is raining here in the Old Pueblo and I believe that I will gather up my flip flops and get them ready for a refreshing run in the all-together. It is supposed to rain for most of the weekend. I am sure that I will bump into Jane during my run in the rain, and as soon as Loraine returns it will be a nice foot race for us all. Smile!

   Speaking of rain. Chris's roof has a small drip near the skylight in his living room. I will have a look at it as soon as it gets light out. More than likely we will have to have the roofer come out to repair it. In the mean time I will cover the skylight with a tarp.

   We had  wonderful night of "Mahjong" with Shoo and Stu. We started off with a nice snack set up by my playmate. We had BBQ pulled pork, Pozolli, sliced bread and butter pickles, tater tots, and plenty of vino. For dessert we had ginger snap cookies, butter pecan popcorn, and the topper a nice bottle of champagne. 

   We played several rounds of "Mahjong" and the only one to win was the (cat). We had so much fun. We had flubs, mistakes, and we laughed, laughed and laughed some more. Finally we had a winner (weiner) and that was Shoo Shoo. She one a round by picking up the last tile that was on the table and it was the one that she needed to win. Shoo Shoo was about to do cartwheels. A fantastic evening of fun, food, and friendship. Thank you guys!

   We have no plans for today. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris. We will be home bound so we can watch our "Wildcats" play Oregon. Go Cat's! Elise and I went to the movies yesterday to see "Blackhat". It was good and loaded with twists and turns and a lot of action.

  Well, I had better get to it. Have a great "TGIF".
