Monday Morning

Good Morning

Mood: Irritated

Music listening to: How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You by Marvin Gaye

How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is counting crows this morning but she will be winging it shortly. The coffee is delicious this morning and I am thinking pancakes to boot. Any plans for today?

No plans for today as of yet but I am going to take Porkchop out shortly for a walk around the hood. We had a very nice day yesterday. We played a few games of ping-pong in the backyard. After Rosemary arrived to care for Chris we went out for dinner at Applebee's with Elise's Mum her treat. We enjoyed it very much and we are going to start to go there after we attend the Live Theater when the plays are too long to make it to Buddy's Grill.

Elise's Mum had fried shrimp and fries and they really loaded her up with the shrimp, wow, it was at least 2 dozen of them. Elise had grilled shrimp and steak with a baked potato and veggies. I had steak with riblets with mashed potatoes and veggies. We washed it down with a bottle of Cab that was very good. Elise's Mum had coffee and a small hot fudge sundae and Elise and I shared a hot apple pie with ice cream that was great with a caramel sauce. Wonderful evening!

We returned home and Elise hit the sheets and read a book that she just cannot put down. I continued to read a book that I had started and I am almost finished with it. After Rosemary left the night I checked on Chris and we called it a night. A very good first weekend of 2010. Well, I had better check on Chris and get ready to take Porky out for his walk. Have a good day and take it slow and easy.

Later..............
