Good Morning! Happy New Year!
Mood: Joyful
Music listening to: I Like Big Butts by Sir-Mix-alot.
How are you doing on this first day of 2010? I started the day off at 5:45am caring for Chris. Elise is counting lambs, sheep, cows or any other type critter but she will be up and greeting the New Year soon.
We had a very nice dinner last night to bring in the New Year. We cornbread, black eyed peas, German ketchup and we toasted the New Year with a bottle of champagne. I was surprised that the usual noise makers and horn blowing was kept to a low. I guess it is a sign of the times, eh?
We will be staying in all day until Marv shows up o care for Chris this evening. Then we are going to a new Mexican eatery for dinner. I believe that is a good way to start the year of with a good and spicy meal with a Margarita or two, or three! Well, I had better get back to work with Chris. Have a great day today and may the rest of the year be just as good.
Elise and I would like to thank all of our family, friends, neighbors, epals and buddies for making 2009 a good year. We hope that 2010 will be even better for all of us and we pray everyday that you say healthy, happy and continue to be full of life.
Happy New Year!!
