Good Night,

It has been a another very hot day and it is still hot. It is 6:30pm and it is 100 degrees and a slight breeze. The clouds are building up and we may get some rain, we do hope so. We took Chris to his chiro appt with Brent and it went very well. We returned home and we watched a DVD called Religulous with Bill Maher a comedy documentary. It was very good and it had a lot of truth in it.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is at her book club meeting. Elise will bring me back some dinner with her when she returns. All of a sudden I am hungry, go figure. Now the wind is really picking up and we may get some rain??????

Let's get this day started my friends. I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Elise is counting lizards this morning and she missed the one that just went by the fence behind Chris's house. She will be up and about shortly without a doubt. Any plans for today?

I have to run a few errands this morning and we are going to take Chris to his chiro appt when Brent arrives to care for him this afternoon. It is warm morning here in Tucson again and we have a 30% chance of rain today. We will see if we get more than 30 drops of rain, smile. The coffee is nice and hot and I think I will pour a second cup right now. Have a good day and stay safe.

How did your Monday go? Things have been pretty good here in the desert. Chris and I relaxed most of the day and we even sat outside to car and people watch for a while. Donna, Chris's massage therapist came by for a short visit and it was very good to see her. She is looking well and she is on the mend from her injury.

Elise prepared a very good dinner this evening, and we watched another episode of Rumpole of the Bailey. After dinner I began to care for Chris and Elise went to play bridge at her Mom's house. Chris has been in good mood today and that is very good. Can you believe that we are under a severe storm watch? Yes, that's right. We have strong winds and a few drops of rain, and plenty of clouds. Kim came by to let me know that a tree had fallen across the road in the U of A area and that street signs in that area are really taking a beating. That dogs want to come in because of the wind blowing so much but I will keep them outside unless it rains.

Well, I had better get back to work. We hope that your day was a good one?

How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:35am caring for Chris. Elise is counting Gila monsters this morning and she is singing a tune as well, smile. It is a warm morning again in the 80's already. We need some rain badly here in the Old Pueblo. Any plans for today or this upcoming week?

I have no plans for today and that is a good thing. The coffee is good and I believe that I will grab some toast to go along with it. We had a very nice evening at Susie's party and it was very well put together. I enjoyed it when Susie became the center of attention as well as she should be and she lead a question and answer session about Saudi Arabia. Many of the questions were very interesting. Susie daughter was there and she looked well.

We returned home and we played games on the laptop and we had a glass of red to give us that edge to advance with the games. After Tony left I checked on Chris and we called it a night. Have a great Monday and stay well.

Well we just returned home from having breakfast with Paula, Marty, Susie and Elise's Mom. It was a very nice time and the food was great. It was so good to see Susie and to hear about how things have been going in Saudi Arabia.

Susie had us all fascinated by what she told us. Things are really different there and a lot of the basic rights are nonexistent, mainly to the female population. I guess this is what happens when religion and state don't see eye to eye.

Later this evening we will meet up with Susie again at a party that is being given for her at one of her friends home here in Tucson. I must tell you the the temperature is starting to climb. Chat at you later..................

How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:30am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is caring for Chris this morning. It is a warm 80 degrees right now and it is supposed to hit the triple digits again today. I have my coffee right next to me and Elise has the pot over in the main house.

We had a very nice time at Fire and Spice last night for dinner. It is a very upscale place and the live jazz singer was a major plus. We shared a bottle of Shiraz that was pretty good. Elise's Mom ordered Carne Asada tacos with veggies on the side. Elise had the New York Strip with mashed sweet potatoes and veggies and I ordered the same thing. The food was great but a bit pricey. I ordered the Snake Bites for an appetizer and they were excellent. Elise's Mom could not handle them at all. They are jalapenos stuffed with a cream and spices and wrapped in bacon. Excellent!

For dessert I ordered the Sorbet Flight which is three different types of sorbet. Lemon, Mango, Strawberry, our favorite was the lemon. After dinner we left to go to McDonald's to get Elise's Mom a sundae with chocolate and nuts, she loves them. We took her home and we arrived back home and we played video games on the laptop. After Tony left I checked on Chris and we called it a night. A very nice evening.

Any plans for today? Well, we are going to go out to breakfast with Elise's Mom, Paula, Marty this morning. We will be joined by Susie who is visiting from Saudi Arabia we are looking forward to seeing her again since her last stay with us. Well, have a good Sunday and enjoy it. Later we are going to a party for Susie after the caregiver arrives this evening to care for Chris.

How are you doing on this Saturday morning? I started the day off at 5:45am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning. Any plans for today? We are going to have dinner this evening at a place called Fire and Spice a new eatery in our area. We will be accompanied by Elise's Mom and we hope that the food is good. TGIF. How are you doing? Well, the weekend has begun and it should be a good one. I started the day off at 5:45am this morning caring for Chris. A little later than usual due to the wonderful dinner we had at Paula and Marty's last night. As a matter of fact I slept straight through the night and that is rare for me.

I believe that Chris is glad to be back in his house again, I am sure that he missed it a lot. He is chatting up a storm this morning and he is having a good time listening to the music. Elise is counting Tarantulas this morning but she will be up and tackling the day real soon. I have my coffee right next to me and it is very good and I am looking forward to my second cup. Any plans for today?

Can you believe that we have no plans for today? I have to run to my office this afternoon but other than that, that is it. We are going to grill some Italian sausages and put them into some pasta for dinner. We are looking forward to that let me tell you. Well, I had better get this Friday rolling. Another good day here in Tucson and I am not complaining one bit. Elise and I went to see The Proposal and it was hilarious. We recommend that you see it as well. After the movie we stopped at Fry's to pick up a few things to take with us over to Paula and Marty's for dinner. We returned home and we played Golf on the Wii until it was time to head out for dinner and a movie at La Placita.

We arrived at Paula and Marty's and it was good to see them. I must tell you that they put out a spread that was excellent. As a matter of fact I had to have seconds, what a treat indeed. We walked over to La Placita to see the movie that was a musical with Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. I thought that it was going to be a groaner but I liked it a lot, but we could not stay for the whole showing because we had to get back home to relieve Rosemary.

We got home and I checked on Chris and he is wide awake so here I am adding another entry to our blog. It want be long now and he will be asleep. I will join Elise as soon as he does drift off. We hope that your day was a good one?

How are you getting along this morning ? I started the day at 5:45am caring for Chris. Elise is up and about and out as usual. It is a bit warm this morning again but we do have some cloud building up so we may get some rain. The coffee is on and I am waiting on my first cup.

Wait a minute Elise is back already, hmmmmm? Oops she had a senior moment and forgot to take her bag with her to go swimming and now it is to late she she is taking a stroll around the hood. Any plans for today? We are going to go to the movies this afternoon when Rosemary arrives to care for Chris and afterwards we will get Chris moved back into his house.

We are going to have dinner this evening with Paula and Marty and then we will go with them to La Placita to watch a outdoor movie. So that sums up what we have planned for today. Have a good day and stay safe, enjoy!

It has been another good day here in Tucson. Chris had a very good visit with Jeanne his Case Manager. Today was very relaxing and I really enjoyed it. Elise prepared a great dinner this evening. We has cheese crisps, refried beans, lettuce and tomatoes and of course some salsa and jalapenos. We got it all down with a couple of cold beers.

Elise and I worked on getting Chris 's house back in order and we will move him back in tomorrow. I am caring for Chris this evening and it is still quite hot outside. Well, I had better get back to work so have a pleasant evening.

Happy Hump Day! I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Elise is still calling all Javelina this morning . I have to run a quick errand early this morning even before I have my coffee, and that just is not right, smile. What is up for you today?

It is a warm 82 degrees out right now and that means the rest of the day is going to be like sitting in an oven waiting to be turned over. Chris will be visited by Jeanne today, she is his case manager. We have not seem Jeanne for a while due to she was out recovering from a procedure, but now she is on the go again.

We will continue to get things moved back into Chris's house today and arrange shelves and the like. It looks really good. Well, I had better bounce and do what I need to do. Have a good safe Hump Day.

Well, how was your day? It has been another blessed day here in Tucson, but a bit too hot today. Elise and I ran a few errands and afterward we got a Frappacino from Starbucks that hit the spot indeed. After that we went to Fry's and we bought some cheese to include one made with horseradish and let me tell you it is very good. We also bought some prosciutto as well and need I say more?

We returned home and we began to move and arrange a few things over in Chris's house. We are going to move him back in on Thursday, and I know that he will be glad to be back. Chris will be visited by his case manager Jeanne tomorrow and he always enjoys her visits. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is playing bridge at her Mom's. Well, I had better get back to work. Have a good night and sleep well. I am tired this evening for some reason I guess I over did things today. I hurt my left wrist and my left side this morning getting Chris ready for his shower. I do hope that it stops hurting soon.

Well, the day has just about come to a close and it has been another stellar day. I found out where Lampchop has been getting out and I closed the area up. Now she is upset with me because she cannot sneak out anymore. Elise prepared a very nice dinner this evening soup and sandwiches. They were great.

Elise just left to play bridge at her Mom's house. I am caring for Chris this evening and he is really mellow now that he is in his bed. He was a bit fussy during dinner. The construction guys have just about finished with Chris's house. All that is left is to put knobs on the cabinets and decide what day we are going to move Chris back in. It looks very nice with all of the new items in place.

Well, I had better get back to it. Have a great evening and sleep well.

How are things going? It has been a very good day so far here in the Old Pueblo. The construction people are here working on Chris 's house doing some finishing touches. Replacing some floor tile in the kitchen, replacing base board, and taking care of some plumbing issues as well. I am sure that Chris will be glad to move back into his house soon.

Morning, how are you on this fine Monday? I started the day off at 5:45am caring for Chris. Elise is up and out taking a walk. The weather is perfect right now , but it is not going to stay like this for long. We are having a problem with Lampchop lately, she is getting out of the yard some way and we have not caught her at it. She is a very smart dog but I will catch her soon.

Any plans for today? None at all for me today, so I am planning on taking it slow and easy. I had a wonderful time last night at Buddy's Grill with Elise and her Mom. Elise's Mom treated me to a great dinner for Father's Day and I really did appreciate it very much because she really made the day much brighter. I had the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and gravy, rice pilaf and bread. Elise had the halibut with a baked potato and veggies. Elise's Mom had fried shrimp, Au gratin potatoes and cold slaw. We shared a Pinot that was very good. Elise's Mom had coffee and a dish of yogurt for dessert. A wonderful evening that I will never forget.

We returned home and Elise and I played video games on the laptop for hours. After Rosemary left for the evening we called it a night. Well, the coffee is done and the aroma is calling me to pour a cup. Have a good Monday and stay safe.

Well, we returned from having breakfast at Village Inn. Elise, her Mom and I ate very well. Elise's and her Mom are taking me out for a Father's Day dinner at Buddy's Grill this evening after Rosemary arrives to care for Chris. I really do appreciate the gesture very much and it brightens the day for me a lot.

I got a big hug from Kim for Father's Day and that felt very nice. I got a call from Claudia a long time friend to wish me a Happy Father's Day as well. Anne, Monna, Rory, Tiger, Mary thank you for the Father's Day greetings as well, I have some very dear friends and I know that I am blessed to know them.

Elise is caring for Chris and she is just about finished, she will be getting him up real soon. Again to all of the fathers have a great Father's Day.

How is everyone doing this Saturday morning? I started the day off at 5:45am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning. It is a very nice day here in the desert and and we got rained on yesterday.

We had a very nice time on our stay-cation at the Radisson Suites Hotel. We didn't want it to end. I will give more info about our stay-cation a bit later and I took a few photos as well. Our next stay-cation will be in July and we will stay at TownePlace Suites near the airport, thanks to my brother Herman getting us a fantastic family rate.

Chris's house is just about finished and we will move him back into it next week. it looks really good and the new cabinets and counter top is great. We have a lot more storage space now with these cabinets. Elise just left to play bridge and I am caring for Chris until Rosemary arrives this evening to care for him. We saw the movie Drag Me To Hell and it was very good and very, very funny for a horror flick.

We are going to go to the Outback for dinner this evening if all goes well. Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a great day.

The day has come to a close and it has been another good one. How was yours? We found out today that Chris's house has sub-termites on the back wall. So they Truly Nolan people are going to treat the house for them. Also the new cabinets will be installed in Chris's house on Thursday and the plumber will be out on Friday to connect up the and the ice maker. Finally Chris's house will be all done at least we hope so.

Elise and I played Wii games this afternoon and it was a lot of fun. We had breakfast for dinner that was really good. We had French Toast, sausages, and hot coffee. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise just left to play bridge at her Mom's. After I get Chris settled and relaxed I will pack a bag for our stay-cation. So that is how my day went, a good day.

Well, it is Tuesday so how are you doing? I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Elise is up and about already this morning. The coffee is good and I am already on my second cup. I have nothing planned for today and I guess that is a good thing, eh?

It is a nice morning and I have the water running on the hedges, and the ivy. I will also water the trees and the other potted plants as well. We have not decided on what to pack as of yet for our stay-cation but we will get it done today. I bought a Wii game called Farm Animals and it is a lot of fun and it will give you a very good workout while you are playing it.

Well, I had better get to it. I hear Elise moving about the house and she is getting herself a cup of coffee right now. Wait a minute she has left to go swimming, it is hard to keep up with her, smile.

How did your Monday go? Well, after I finished running my errands the day turned out to be perfect. It has been a great day and when that happens I take notice of it because when things are going just a bit too well, it is my experience to be on the lookout for a problem or pain. I just may be having a well deserved good day and I may be getting antsy or something. I am a very, very cautious person by nature.

Elise prepared a very nice dinner tonight before she left to play bridge at her Mom's. Chris is doing well and he has had a very good day too. I am caring for Chris this evening. I am mulling over what I am going to pack for our stay-cation that we are going to take on Wednesday through Friday. My brother Herman has helped us to plan our stay-cation for the month of July and we are really looking forward to it. Well, I had better get back to work with Chris he is starting to chat up a storm.

How are you doing? Well, it is another Monday and I am prepared for all that comes along with it, smile. I started the day off at 5:35am caring for Chris. I was awakened by Lampchop barking at something or someone this morning, or she was telling me that it is time for me to bounce. Elise is counting ants this morning but she will but up and at it very soon.

Elise and I went to see The Taking of Pelham 123 yesterday after Rosemary arrived to care for Chris. We had an early dinner at home adn Elise's Mom joined us. We had Elise's killer homemade tacos and all of the fixing's, refried beans and a couple of cold beers. For dessert Elise's Mom had Fig ice cream made from goat's milk and let me tell you she loved it.

We returned home after the movie and I checked on Chris. The movie was very good and Denzel and John Travolta were excellent. The movie has plenty of action and drama. Well, I had better grab another cup of coffee and plan my day. I have to run on the airbase this morning for sure. Have a good Monday and stay safe.

How are you this Sunday morning? I started the day off at 5:45am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is caring for Chris this morning. The coffee has brewed and it is very good. I pushed the flavor boost button for an extra kick and it did it's job. It is a very nice morning weather wise but this is the desert and it will start to percolate very soon.



Elise and I had a wonderful evening with Paula and Marty last night. We met them at their home and we shared two types of chips, salsa, goat cheese, and of course a bottle of red that was very good. We walked over to The Screening Room to watch the movie and it was very good and it had my attention throughout the whole showing. If you have ever seen What the Bleep Do We Know it was similar to it with a lot of thought given to Quantum Physics, and the powers of the mind. It got me to thinking and it formed many questions in my mind as to what do we really know.



After the movie we walked over to Maynard's for dinner and let me tell you that was a treat. While we ate our dinner we people watched and train watched as well. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. We also shared another bottle of red that was very good and very fruity. We shared a dessert the was wonderful and we all had coffee to complete the meal. Paula and Marty thank you so very much for a fantastic evening, what a treat! We walked back to their home and we said our good nights and we returned home. I checked on Chris and we called it a night.

Mood: Feeling Good and that scares me, smile.

How are you this fine Saturday morning? I started the day off at 5:30am getting Chris settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning after she returns from swimming. The coffee is on and it is good let me tell you. Any plans for today?

I have a few errands to run this morning and that is about it until later this evening. Elise and I are going to meet with Paula and Marty and spent the evening with them. We are going to see a movie at The Screening Room downtown and afterwards we are going to dinner at Maynard's in the train station. Rosemary will be caring for Chris this evening.

It is a very nice sunny day out so but I am sure that it is going to heat up quickly. Elise prepared a very nice dinner last night and we ate way too much, but we could not help ourselves. We had salad, meatloaf, baked potato with the works, and we washed it all down with a bottle of Zinfandel that was excellent. We also watched a very good DVD called Bottle Shock and we recommend this one to Paula and Marty it was very good.

Well, I had better get myself together and get this day rolling. Have a blessed day and enjoy.

How are you this morning? I started the day of at 5:45am caring for Chris. Elise is counting geckos this morning. It is a nice 68 degrees right now here in the Old Pueblo, perfect. Do you have any plans for today? Any for the weekend?

I am going to the DMV to renew my registration this morning and I hope that I beat the crowds. Elise and I saw the movie Hangover yesterday and it is just too funny, we were rolling in the aisles along with everyone else. We had a very nice visit with Jeanne and Angelica yesterday. Jeanne is looking good and it is always a pleasure to see her and to spend some time with her, she is a treasure.

Later in the evening Elise and I went to Cody's Beef and Bean and the food was great. Elise had the chicken special and I had the T-bone. We shared a carafe of Burgundy that was really good. We also shared a small bowl of vanilla ice cream for dessert, a good evening. We returned home and I relieved Brent and I checked on Chris and we called it a night.

Well, I had better get moving, have a great day.

Well, I just got back from having my car tested for emissions and it passed. I was there for a lot longer than I had wanted to be. Tomorrow I will renew my registration and I will get there early to try to beat the crowds, I hate going to the DMV.

I had better get to work I am behind on my chores and that bothers me, smile. I heard from my Sis today and she is doing great and it is always good to hear from her. Things are going well for her in the ATL.

How are you doing today? I started the day off at 5:30 am caring for Chris.The coffee is on and I am waiting on that first cup. Elise is up and about this morning and it looks like she going to swimming this morning . Do you have any plans for today?

I have to go to have the emissions test done on my car this morning and I hope that I hit it at the right time to avoid the crowds. Brent will be caring for Chris this afternoon and we may go to a movie before we visit Jeanne in the foothills. We will be going to Cody's Beef and Beans for dinner after our visit with Jeanne.

Well, the construction is still going on and we will be glad when it is over so things can get back to normal. Well, I had better get this day rolling. Have a good one and stay safe and be blessed.

How are you doing on this Hump Day? I started the day off early as a matter of fact I have been up all night with very personal matters eating at me. Chris is doing just great and the construction is going to take a bit longer than we thought it would. So that means that Chris will remain in the main house a bit longer.

I just got back from the Tucson Police Office downtown and I had to file a fraud report on a matter that could and should have been resolved quite some time ago but the parties involved thought that the matter was a joke and it is not. This is going to affect several people and property may be lost as well. A simple phone call would have solved the whole problem but that was too easy.

Any plans for today? None here, I am just going to rest and count all of my blessings today.

How are you doing this fine Tuesday morning? I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Elise is calling all hogs this morning but I am without a doubt that she will be up and out early this morning. It is a nice morning out and we have some cloud cover that is keeping the the temp down for right now. We have a 30% chance of rain today with the possibility of wind up to 35 miles per hour.

Chris is relaxing listening to the karaoke machine play. The construction workers are here and they are hard at work. The dogs don't like it because they are here because they cannot roam around the yard like they are used to doing. They have to endure with them just like we have too.

Brent will be here this afternoon to care for Chris and I will continue to take it slow and easy. Elise and I may go to Starbucks for a Frappacino when Brent arrives. I have so much email to catch up with I don't know were to start, but I will get it done. Well,I had better get to it. Have a good day and stay safe.

How are you doing on this Monday morning? I started today at 5:30am caring for Chris. Elise is calling all hogs, smile. It is going to be a hectic day due to the construction people will be here at 7:30am to begin the work on Chris's house. Chris is now in the main house and it feels different to be caring for him in here because we are confined to one room, the family room.

The work should continue for about a week at most, maybe less. How did your weekend go? Our short trip to Surprise and the Phoenix area was OK and it was good to see Dot and Del. We were pressed for time and things did not work out like we had planned and I am a stickler for planning your work and working your plan. Their was quite a bit of disorganization and it got to the point that it really bothered me and I wasn't feeling all that well in the beginning but we muddled through it.

Well, I had better get back to work. Have a great day and stay safe.

How are you this Saturday morning? I started the day off at 5:30am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be over shortly to care for Chris this morning. It is a nice 68 degrees right now and it is supposed to get a bit windy today. The coffee is hot and good this morning, yummy!

Elise and I had a very nice evening last night at Colors. We had a couple of Jack and Cokes while we were there waiting for the Live Theater show to begin. The show was called Erma Vepp and it was hilarious. It was a two hour show that was done by two actors who played at least seven or more parts. It was so funny and it should bring out many to see it. After the show we went to Buddy's Grill for dinner and a bottle of Cab. Elise had the halibut and I had the pork chops, very ,very good food. We returned home and I checked on Chris and we called it a night. Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Well, I had better get back too my routine. Have a good day and enjoy! We will be leaving for the Phoenix area at around noon or so right after Rosemary arrives to care for Chris.

Hello,

How are things going? It has been a pretty good day so far. No major problems as of yet. I attempted to do some yard work earlier and the dust and dirt got me to coughing again and it has made my chest feel congested , so I will leave that alone for a few more days. My dear friend Jeanne told me that I am trying to do to much too soon and I believe that she is correct.

It is starting to get cloudy here in the Old Pueblo and we may get a few drops of rain today or tomorrow. Elise is up in the foothills playing bridge with Jeanne and crew, and the cabinet guy is running late and he will no be here now until around 4:00pm, like I didn't have anything else to do but wait around all day.

I do know one thing I am starting to get hungry and that is a good thing but I will hold out until we have dinner at Buddy's tonight. Well, I had better get Chris up. Have a good evening.

TGIF!! How are you? I started today off at 5:15am caring for Chris. Elise is counting Gecko's this morning. It is a nice 76 degrees right now but it is supposed to heat up and get into the 100's today. Lampchop is inside Chris's house with me this morning and she is pleased to be inside so she can be nosey.

Any plans for today? We are going to go to the Colors, Live Theater and Buddys Grill for dinner this evening. A nice relaxing evening. Well,the stress will mount as we prepare to get Chris moved out of his house and into the main house by Monday morning. The construction and repair from the water damage will begin then and continue for about 4 to 5 days. So we will have to get his supplies, his bed and all that he needs to be cared for until the repair job is done. Not looking forward to that at all.

Well, I had better get to it, have a good weekend and enjoy.

Herman, we are thinking about a two day stay at the JW. Marriott here in Tucson again so we will be contacting you with some dates for July. With the economy the way that it is we are planning stay-cations rather than vacations, smile.
