It is a Hump Day! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be up and about due to she has a full day lined up. Any plans for today?
The coffee just finished brewing and it is hitting the spot. I will munch on a fiber bar along with it. Eddie is in Do Drop Inn room # 2. He will be with us until Saturday.
I have no errands to run today so I am finally getting back into the norm if you will? I didn't sleep well at all last night due to a pounding headache, a sore neck and I sneezing fit. I am better this morning but I still have a slight headache and neck pain.
Elise and I are going to go to "El Con Mall" to see the movie "Fury". We will have a very light dinner this evening.
Well, we hope that you day will be a good one. I am starting to post about our trip to Puerto Penasco, Mexico so enjoy because we did.

Oct 16
We started the day really early at 6:00am. We packed up the Tacoma and we double checked our travel lists. Angelica is caring for Chris while we are away in Mexico.
We met up with Bobby and Marv for breakfast at "Gus Balones" and we talked out plans for our departure. After breakfast we hit the road for "Why, Arizona" . We met up with Rosemary at "Why" to gas up and to purchase Mexican insurance before we crossed the border.
We went through the border gate and Elise and I were stopped by the Federales. We were randomly picked for a vehicle inspection. So I had to open up the Tacoma bed so they could look around. Rosemary, Bobby and Marv waiting for us as we were leading the way. After the quick inspection we were on our way.
Oh, I forgot to mention that we stopped at the "DDC" to pull a few slots. Yes , we did! We arrived at "Casa di Dena" at around 3:00pm.
We unloaded the "Tacoma" and Bobby, Marv, and Rosie unloaded as well. Bobby and Marv are sleeping upstairs, and Rosie is in the back bedroom. We occupy the master bedroom.
Bobby, Marv and Rosie are excited to be here and they marvel at the beach and so do Elise and I. We rest and take in a few snacks and cocktails. Their are quite a few people here on the beach.
Well, it is time to get our grub on. We all pile into Bobby's car and we head to town. We went to the "Point" for dinner in the Rocky Point Marina area.
The margaritas were fantastic. Bobby ordered a huge shrimp burrito, Marv ordered shrimp chimi's, Rosie and I order Flounder stuffed with shrimp and cheese with a caper sauce, Elise ordered a Mexican style shrimp cocktail and steamed clams. Elise got so many clams the it was unbelievable and they were delicious. We also shared a Queso Fundido with chorizo, mushrooms and peppers. The Fundido was served with flour tortillas and chips. Man those Cadillac Margaritas were good! Marv had a white wine. Rosie was the designated driver due to she doesn't drink. We are stuffed.
We stuffed ourselves back into Bobby's car and we head back to "Casa di Dena". Rosie took a wrong turn and she was going down a one way street. Cars were honking at us and we were screaming at her to turn around quickly and we made it home.
We sit out on the patio for a bit before we all call it a night in Mexico.
