It's Friday

It is another hot day here in Tucson. I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Yes, you guessed it Elise is still counting mountain lions this morning. She will be up soon and ready to go. It is supposed to be 111 degrees on Sunday and let me tell you that is very hot, the birds won't be flying on that day and I don't blame them.

Any plans for today or the weekend? Yesterday Elise and I went to see Public Enemies and it was very good. It even had a scene in it depicting our Hotel Congress that is downtown, ans it showed newspapers in a rack from the Daily Star. After the movie we went to a BBQ place that got a good write up in the newspaper and we decided to check it out and we did. The food was very good and the price was not bad at all. We got two rib dinners that included four ribs, cornbread muffins, beans, and mixed greens. We ate it all while we were watching a DVD and we're stuffed. We gulped down three beers apiece and that was the topper, we could barely move, smile. The ribs were tender but they had a overpowering smokey taste but other than that it was burp time.

I have to run to my office this afternoon but other than that we have no plans for today. I know what you are saying we have no plans for a Friday? It is just too hot to do anything at all here in the desert. We are going to fry up some catfish filet's for dinner and have some crinkle cut fries along with it. I love catfish! Well, I had better get busy and get things moving along after I get another cup of coffee. Have a good Friday all and a safe weekend.
