Buongiorno!

Buongiorno!

Mood: Content!

Music listening to: My Prerogative by Bobby Brown!

Buon Hump Giorno! Come Stai? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in here cave this morning but she will be putting feet to the floor soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and it is a Kenya and Arrivaca blend. A second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It s a bit breezy this morning and that is good. I am sure that it is going to heat up very quickly for sure. Rosemary will be here this morning to care for Chris.

Alexa, is awake and she s barking out all of the things that I need to get done today and I will post haste. I have asked here to play some "Down Home Blues" or me today and she agree to it only if I complete all if my "To Do List" tasks. No problema!

This evening mio moglie and my girlfriend Shoo Shoo have a reservation at Janos Downtown Kitchen for dinner. it is going to be a wonderful evening for sure and I have to make sure that I have my (mojo) working, eh? My girlfriends know what I am saying! Ya Mon'.

After dinner we will stroll over to the "Carriage House" for the "Sizzling Summer Sounds" A Cabaret Series" presented by the "Invisible Theatre". Dame Susan Claassen has done it again.

We will be listening to Aretha-Long Live The Queen". A tribute to the Queen of Soul given by Crystal Stark, a world renowned Tucson musical sensation. She will be singing some of the Queens greatest hits. It is going to a wonderful evening of singing, finger-popping, tapping of feet, clapping of hands and some soulful booty-shaken. I may have to get up and shake my groove thang as well. That is why I have to have my (mojo) working. Smile! Besides that Crystal is a major (eye-candy). Woohoo! Alas I have to control myself because mio moglie and  my girlfriend will be next to me. Can you feel me?

Well, I had better get this day moving forward. Have a good Humper, right Jane? I will have a chin-wag at you later. Enjoy the day.

Here is a bit more about our trip to LA. Enjoy!

Wed 8 July

We got up at 7:30am, well Elise did. I was already up and showered and ready to get the day started. We went down to the casino to play some Keno. We won quite a bit, enough to break even and we has a lot of fun. Not too many people in the casino in the morning.

We went to breakfast at the café and the waitress remembered us from our last visit in May when we were there. We enjoyed "Mimosa's" with our breakfast and coffee. It was delicious!

We hit the slots again. I won $382 dollars on a dollar slot. We went to our suite and we packed up and we checked out. Goodbye "Viejas" see you next year!

We began our drive to LA. The drive was like a trip to (hell). the traffic is ridiculous here. We inched along on the freeway once we hit LA. It took us 4 and a half hours to get where we were heading. It should have only taken 3 hours. WTF!

We finally got to the place we were staying. Elise texted our nephew Zack to see what was up for the evening. He texted that he had a meeting to go to and that we could meet up at the "Farmers Market" nearby. The place we are staying at is only three blocks away from Zack's old apartment.

Meanwhile we received a test from Jayne saying that Rosemary was having trouble with the Hoyer and sling with Chris. Rosemary wanted to call 911 but that was not needed due to Jayne was making her way over to resolve the issue. Jayne is a excellent caregiver and we never want her to leave.

We took a Lyft to the Farmers Market and we met up with Zack. He is looking very good and healthy. We walked around the market and talked. We stopped at a Brazilian BBQ we enjoyed a very good dinner. After dinner we walked a bit more and then we split up a Melrose. We walked back about two miles. We will meet up with Zack tomorrow to watch a movie.

We got back and we enjoyed a nice Jack and Coke before we called it game over.

Hi Jessie,
We are doing ok , only thing is nasty 98 degree weather.
Humidity is so bad. Poor Bob is at work in all that heat.
The only air conditioning is in the breakroom. So the only time besides lunch time
is when they get to be in the cool.
I am staying put today in the cool. Have A C on low and feels nice in here.
Enjoy your evening out tonight.

HI THERE. ALL IS WELL IN DOWNTOWN MELBOURNE BUT IT IS STILL COLD. HAVE HAD A WEEK IN SYDNEY TO VISIT MY SISTER WHO HAD A MITRAL VALVE REPLACEMENT, TRI CUSPID VALVE REPAIR AND ABLATION ON AN ARTERY TO HELP STOP HER SEVERE ARTERIAL FIBRILLATION. SHE HAD A MONTH IN HOSPITAL AFTER A COUPLE OF COMPLICATIONS. HAD 2 LITRES OF FLUID DRAINED OFF HER RIGHT LUNG. SHE WENT HOME LAST SATURDAY. HAVE NOT BEEN TOO GOOD RECENTLY. THE DEPRESSION HAS FLARED ITSELF AND LEAVES ME MISERABLE. BUT HEY I WILL GET OVER IT. HOPE ALL IS WELL AT YOUR END....ROSIE
