Weekend Is Here!!

Good Morning

Mood; Rested, relaxed

Music listening to Lay Down Sally by Eric Clapton

It's The Weekend. How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:ooam looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is up and getting ready to head for the gym. Any plans for today?

John will be here shortly to care for Chris this morning and Rosie will be here later in the evening to take over. The coffee is good this morning and so are the oats. It is a cool morning here in the Old Pueblo but it is supposed to warm up into the 70's.

We had a very nice peaceful, restful stay-cation at the Courtyard Marriott thanks to the great rates gotten by my brother Herman. We took no pictures at all it was just a time to rest and relax. We devoured my famous tuna-jalapeno dip with Frito scoops.

We played games on the laptop for hours and we watched some TV. We even went to the DDC to play the slots for a short while and that was fun because we won a few greenbacks. Of course we had plenty of Jack on Cokes on hand throughout the stay-cation.

We meet up with our daughter Kim at Claim Jumper for dinner and it was good to see her and to hear what has been going on in her life. It was a very good stay-cation but it did have a snag. Someone took the license plate off the Tacoma, yes they did. We noticed it after we came out of the Crossroads Theater. We went to see the "Machine Gun Preacher" it was a very good movie. So we notified the police and now we cannot drive the Tacoma until the new plate arrives in a few days. We also saw the movie "Shame' at the Loft. It was a very good movie and strange about a guy who has a out of control sex addiction.

We also had our morning breakfast's at Bob & Jerry's and at Denny's. Today we will be watching our Wildcats play Washington in a White Out game. The Cat's beat Washington State badly on Thursday night. We listened to it on the radio because it was not on the TV at the Courtyard.

We will be having Chinese food while we are watching the game this evening. We are also going to the Arizona Theatre Company to see the play "39 Steps" a Alfred Hitchcock thriller that has gotten rave reviews. We are looking forward to it.

Well, I had better find something to get into. Elise is reading a bit before she starts to work on her memoirs. Have a great day and a better tomorrow.
Later..........Jessie and Elise

Tiger, Marcie, Jet have a good one.

Herman, thank you so very much for making our stay-cation fun.

Jane and John, what it new?

Shoo and Stu, have a good one.

Rosie, good to hear from you.
