Happy New Year!! 2012

Good Morning
Mood: Happy

Happy New Year!! How are you doing on this the first day of of 2012? I started the day off at 4:45am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise to care for him this morning. Elise is still counting those zzz's but she will be up shortly to begin the New Year. Any plans for today?
We had a very quiet and peaceful New Year's evening at home. We watched our Wildcats beat ASU in basketball. We watched a very good movie on CD. Elise prepared a great dinner as well. We had a nice salad, spaghetti with a meat sauce that was wonderful. The ragu was a recipe that Mum used and I have to tell you we chowed down to the max. We had a good red and later in the evening we enjoyed a bottle of Gruet Champagne a very extra day blanc.
Elise decided to hit the sheets to read and I stayed up to watch TV until Rosie left for the night. I checked on Chris and then I hit the sheets to read as well. We heard some fireworks going off early in the neighborhood and the fur-babies hate that noise especially Lampchop. At midnight the fireworks were going of like crazy and you could hear kids outside yelling Happy New Year. A great evening and a good start for 2012.
We want to take this time to say Happy New Year to all. We hope and pray that this year brings you the best for you, your friends and family. Well, I had better get busy and grab myself another cup of coffee. Elise and I are going to out for breakfast this morning at the Village Inn. Have a great day!
