Good Night

Well, the day has come to a close and it has not been a bad one. I got a few copies of my book mailed out and tomorrow I will mail out more. I weed whacked the front area near the street and I trimmed the hedge as well. Now that just about did me in, smile!

Chris and watched a Halloween Marathon with of the Micheal Myers slash and gash movies. Chris loves it and so do I. Elise prepared soup for dinner and we watched another episode of "The Duchess of Duke Street". The doorbell is starting to ring with candy hunters already.

Elise is catching up on her email and I am caring for Chris. Well, I had better get busy and grab a 3 Musketeers for myself, eh! Have a great evening and don't let the goblins get you.

It's a Monday Beware! I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is still searching for Gecko's this morning but she will but up shortly. It is a cool 58 degrees here in the Old Pueblo this morning. The coffee is right on and I am thinking about a donut to go along with it. Any plans for today?

Well it is Halloween and the kidlets and the older kid's will be out in force tonight. I wonder how Devil's Night went back home? I will look at the news to see if anything went down. We have no plans for today, but I am going to be sending out a few copies of my book this morning.

We had a very nice breakfast yesterday at "Ghini's". The food was good and the portions were large. I had the French Toast and it was great. Elise had a Bloody Mary with her breakfast. I have to tell you it was kicking! I am sure that we will be visiting there again.

Elise prepared sliced ham, and sweet potatoes for dinner last night and it was great. We played a few games of ping pong in the afternoon and Elise did well with no back problem. We went to the movies last night to see a movie that was suggested to us by Paula and Marty. The title was "The Economic of Happiness". It was an eye-opener and it made you think about what we have done to our Mother Earth and the greed of big business. It shows that simple is better.

Well, I had better get to work. Have a ghoul of a day!

Howdy! How are you? I started the day off at 5:20am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning, as soon as she gets those cob webs knocked off, smile! Any plans for today?

I am downing coffee this morning, due to I was awakened by the dogs barking at two different times. They were barking at two different parties going on,that were really loud. I guess the ghouls and goblins were full of spirits that took them way into the night, eh?

Our dinner of Tilapia and fries was excellent, and we watched a DVD. The DVD was the second series of the "Duchess of Duke Street" it is still very good. Our beloved Wildcat's lost the game last night but they gave it a good try. Go Cat's!

Elise and I are going to go out for breakfast to a new place that we have not been to. It is Ghinny's a French eatery. We hope that it is a good place. We are going to play ping pong this afternoon for a short while. Not on the Wii but in the backyard. We will see how it goes with Elise's back pain.

Yes! It's the Weekend! How are you? Any plans? I started the day off at 5:15am looking in on and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning as soon as she departs her cave, smile.

The coffee is good and I am thinking about a cheese crisp to go along with it. We had a very nice evening last night at Le Bistro Hesser. Bucky prepared salmon that was to die for. He is a very good cook. We enjoyed some nice red and a bottle of champagne.

We played a rousing game of "Wizard" an of course Elise won. We also played a game of "Hearts" an Bucky won. It was a very relaxed evening. Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris. She will be joined by John as well.

I have a errand to run this morning and that is about it for today. Elise is going to prepare Tilapia, with fries for dinner. We are looking forward to it. Well, I had better get busy. Again I want to thank everyone for your great comments about my book.

TGIF!! I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is still sleeping this morning but she will be up and about this morning. She will be taking it slow and easy today. I will see to that! Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and I am thinking about some toast to go along with it. After Marv arrives this evening we will visit Bucky and Dena for a light dinner and a game of Wizard.

I will be picking up copies of my book later in the evening from the printers and I will be checking with the post office on the cost of mailing it out within the US and outside of the US ie; Canada, Aussie land, Europe.

I received a very nice review of my book from one of our dearest friends Marty. He loved the book and he was sure that my family members would as well. Thank you Marty! Well, I had better get busy. Have a good Friday.

Well, Elise and I just returned from Elle's. The food was very good, but our friend Eve did not show up, so Elise will give her a phone call shortly. How was your day?


Chris enjoyed his massage from Donna. He hasn't seen her in quite a while, so his smile and charm was working overtime and so was his hands, smile! Angelica had to stay with Chris past her time due to Rosemary called with a problem at home.

Elise and I went to the movies to see "Dream House" it was very good and Elise and I had the theatre to ourselves. We also had it to ourselves when we went do see "The Three Musketeers 3D". It was OK we would not rave about it though.

Well, the day is winding down and Elise has hit the sheets and she is reading with a ice pack on her back where she got the injection this morning.
She as to take it easy for a 24 hour period with no driving at all. Have a great evening and a better tomorrow because it is Friday!

How are you? I started the day off at 5:10am caring for Chris. Elise is still in her cave, but she will be up and on the move very soon. Any plans for today? The coffee is good, hot and strong this morning just like me,smile!

Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosemary will be here this evening. John the caregiver in training will be here this evening with Rosemary. It will be his final go through before he tries to care for Chris on his own.

I will be going to a doctors appointment this morning with Elise. She will be receiving a cortisone injection in her back to see if it will help her. Later in the afternoon we will go to the movies and to dinner with a good friend named Eve. It all depends on how Elise is feeling after the injection.

It's a Hump Day!! I started the day off at 7:30am by putting on a pot of coffee. Elise is awake and waiting on the coffee to brew. We are still at the DDC and Elise getting ready to take a short walk.

We had a good time playing the slots and I think that we broke out even. Lot's of fun! When we check out we will go out for breakfast and then we will go to the movies before we return home.

It has been a good short stay-cation. I want to thank everyone for your your comments and interest in my book. The response to read it has been great, and much better than I envisioned it would.

Well, I had better get cleaned up and get this Hump Day moving.

How are you? I started the day off at 5:05am caring for Chris. Elise is guiding ships into port this morning. As soon as the fog clears she will begin her day kicking butt and taking names,smile. Any plans for today?

Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. Also a potential caregiver will be attending Chris this morning with me overseeing how he does as he cares for Chris on his own. The coffee is good and I am sure that I will go through a few cups this morning.

Well, we are all packed and ready for our short stay-cation right in Tucson. Angelica will be staying over to care for Chris. We are looking for to a nice prime rib dinner and a few slots as well. Of course I will pick up our perks as well.

Well, I had better look in on Chris. Have a great Tuesday.

Well, how was your Monday? Things went pretty good here in the Old Pueblo.

I attended my in-service class and yes I was bored but it had to be done. Elise played bridge and she and her partner came in first place. Elise is stoked,smile.

Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had pancakes, eggs and sausages, with plenty of hot coffee. We also watched an episode of "Centennial" on DVD. Elise is all packed and ready for our stay-cation at the DDC tomorrow. I will finish my packing shortly.

Elise also had a color copy and a black and white copy of my book printed and bonded. The color copy is very expensive at $80.00 per copy and the black a white is only $24.00 per copy. So I will have to make a decision on which route to take. I will pick up the sample copies tomorrow prior to our stay-cation.

Well, I had better get back to work with Chris. Have a good night and sleep well.

Lookout it's a Monday!! I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is back in her cave again, if you can believe that,smile. Being that it is a Monday she just may have the right idea. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and hot and I am thinking about a sweet roll to go along with it.I think that will happen with my second cup, smile! I have to attend a in-service-class this afternoon, but other than that no plans.

I am very happy to say that I got my first review of my book from Paula. Paula and Marty suggested that I take on the task way back in February of this year. Paula enjoyed the book very much and I appreciated her review very much.Thank you, Paula.

Elise is venturing out to find a place that will print my book today. We will see what the results will be and the cost. The book has 160 pages to include my family tree, and many photos.

We had a grand time at the Egg Connection with Paula and Marty yesterday for breakfast. We also enjoyed our visit to a friends house to listen to a presentation from actors and representatives of the "Rogue Theatre". It was very good and we may now attend some of their upcoming plays.

We watched a good DVD called" Sacrifice" with Cuba Gooding Jr. It was very good and it went well with our BLT's and red for dinner. This weekend has been a fun filled one indeed. Well, I had better check on Chris. Later in the day I will pack up a suitcase for our stay-cation at the DDC. Looking forward to it.

What is up? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning as soon as she leaves the Bat Cave and heads toward the light of day. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good this morning, so good that I am on my second cup. We are going to go our for breakfast at the "Egg Connection" they are offering a buy one breakfast and get the second on free. Now that is a deal.

We had a very nice at the birthday party for Jeff and his twin grandson's. The park setting was really nice and it was good to see the family together enjoying themselves. The burgers were great! Chris had good time too! I will post a few pics later in the day.

We returned home and that is were we stayed. We watched a DVD titled "Ruffian" It was about a race horse that was up and coming but her fame was cut short by tragedy and greed. Excellent movie. Angelica was here caring for Chris. Angelica mentioned that she really enjoyed our evening at the "Gaslight Theatre" the other night. She said that she was very happy and the smile on her face reflected that.

Elise prepared cheese crisps, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos and plenty of cold beer for dinner last night. It was very good. Negra Modelo is very good beer!

We are going to a party this afternoon after Rosemary arrives to care for Chris.We got the invite from Chris's Rekki therapist to attend. Well, the reservation has been made for the DDC and for the Steakhouse as well. We will have a stay-cation there on Tuesday.

Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a wonderful Sunday.

It's the Weekend! I started the day off at 5:10am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is still counting zzzz's, but she will be up and at it very soon. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning after she returns from the gym. Any plans for today?

We are going to a birthday party later and we are taking Chris along. I will be taking photos for sure. Angelica will be here this evening to care for Chris. She will be filling in for Rosemary.

We had a very nice time at "Colors" last night. Elise's friend could not make it to join us. It was packed, and one of Chris's former caregivers was there. We got our Jack and Cokes and we ordered some Nachos. I have to tell you they were very good and we got extra jalapeno peppers.

After that we went to the Live Theatre Workshop to see the play "Foreigner" it was excellent and very,very funny. After that play we returned home and Elise fixed up a couple of margaritas to top the evening off. We were going to go to Applebees but we were not that hungry. I checked on Chris and we called it a night.

Well, I had better check on Chris. We will more than likely stick around the house this evening and watch a DVD. We are going to stay at the DDC one day next week. It is part of our perks that we receive every month.

TGIF!! How are you? I started the day off at 5:10am caring for Chris. Elise is still chasing gecko's this morning to keep them safe. As soon as she gets her quota she will start her day,smile! Any plans for today?

The coffee is good this morning and I am thinking about left over pizza for breakfast. We had a very nice evening last night at the "Gaslight Theatre" we saw the play "Wizard of the Rings". It was very good and very funny. We enjoyed a light dinner of salad, pizza, and of course a bottle of red.

We were joined by Donna, and Angelica for the evening. It has been a while since we have seen Donna, she is looking good. She will be here next week to give Chris a massage. I am sure that he will enjoy that very much.

I have to run a few errands early this morning out on the airbase. I will be looking for a air mattress to take to the mountains when we go on camping trip that is coming up very soon. We will be trying out our 8 person tent.

This evening after Marv arrives to care for Chris we will be visiting "Colors" for a couple of Jack and Cokes. We are going to be joined by Elise's hairdresser as well. After that Elise and I will see the a play at the "Live Theatre Workshop. Following that we will hit "Applebee's for a late dinner.

I am a little bummed out about my book, no I am a pissed but I will get over it. The printer called to say that they could not copy some of my family members photos due to they are copy written by Glamour Shots. So Elise and I made the decision to make the copies and bind it ourselves. Just a little set back! I will begin to print the book today to see how it comes out.

Elise is hosting a marathon bridge game here today,so our front yard will look like a parking lot, smile. Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great Friday and stay safe.

What is up? I started the day off at 5:05am caring for Chris. Elise is still floating in the clouds this morning, but as always she will pop and start her day very soon. Any plans for today?

I am sorry but I just did no have the time to post to our blog yesterday. It was a very busy day that started of really early. We took Chris to the hospital to have a test done and we were there for at least 3 hours. We returned home and I was determined to go over and fine tune my book and get it to the printers.

At around 4:30pm Elise and I were off to the printers. We only had two copies done. One in color and one black and white. Once we decide on which will be the most cost effective we will have more printed. I will be giving one out for review to see what is thought about it. I will keep you informed about it.

Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. This evening we will be meeting up with Angelica and Donna at the Gaslight Theatre to see a live show and we will have a light dinner along with some red.

How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am getting Chris settled and ready to start his day. Elise is still play secret agent this morning. Has soon as she stops her under cover mission she will start her day. Any plans for today?

Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. She will be training a potential caregiver this morning to work with Chris. I will be overseeing how things go. This afternoon Rosemary's supervisor will be here to see how Chris is doing as well.

It is a cool 60 degrees this morning and the coffee is doing it's job. Elise will be at her book club meeting this evening. They are going to Leo's to meet and I am sure that Elise will bring me back some of their enchiladas, smile.

How did your day go? Things went pretty well for a Monday. I cared for Chris all day and I got a chance to look over my book and I changed a few things. Elise is still proofing for me and I believe that I am done except for a few photos. I will get it to the printers one day this week to get a few copies made. I am very excited.

Elise prepared soup for dinner and we had carrots, red peppers, and cottage cheese. I also had a cheese sandwich. Elise just left to practice with the Tucson Women's Chorus. Tomorrow the caregiver that is in training will be here tomorrow to watch Angelica go through Chris's morning routine.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a peaceful night and sleep well.

It's a Monday!! How are you? I started the day off at 5:05am caring for Chris. Elise is well you know where she is right? She will start her day as soon as she leaves her cave, smile! Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and hot and I am thinking about some eggs with cheese. We had a very nice time in Sierra Vista. It was good to see Ann and family. Elise and I stopped at Ihop for breakfast yesterday and the place was packed big time. The food was good and they just opened a couple of weeks back, and they were working the bugs out.

We also had a great evening of fun at Zemems with Paula,Marty,Jane, John, Shoo Shoo and Stu. The food was excellent and the teff was nice and spongy. Our group dominated the restaurant and we consumed four bottles of red. Now that alone makes a good evening, but when you had dear friends who could ask for anything more?

I had made a promise to Jane and I delivered upon her arrival, and she delivered in kind when we said our good-byes for the night. What a fun evening? Well, I had better get to it with Chris. Have a good day and be careful.

How are you? I started the day off at 7:30am by putting on a pot of coffee. Elise is in her cave but I am going to wake her up. Any plans for today?

We are here in Sierra Vista, Arizona at the Fairfield Inn and Suites. We had a very nice time yesterday watching Jonny play soccer. We also had a very nice dinner with Elise's sister Ann for her birthday. Elise, Sara, Jonny and I enjoyed the day together. Erik was here but he had to leave to go to work.

We had dinner at the Outback. After we said our good-byes we returned to the Fairfield Inn. Elise fixed us a nice tall Jack and Coke and we read for a while. We hit the sheets at 9:00pm can you believe that?

We are going to find a place for breakfast and then head back to Tucson. We are going out for Ethiopian food this evening. We will be joined by Paula and Marty, Shoo Shoo and Stu, and Jane and John. It should be a fun evening with plenty of red all around, smile.

Well, I had better hit the shower and get packed up to head home. Have a good Sunday and take it slow and easy.

It's the Weekend! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for him this morning after she returns from the gym. Any plans?

The coffee is very good this morning and it is about 66 degrees right now. It is supposed to venture into the 90's today. We are all packed and ready to go Sierra Vista to join up with Elise's sister Ann for her birthday. I haven't been to Sierra Vista in quite a while. We may venture onto the post for a look around.

We had a very nice dinner last night with Sally and Diane at the Bangkok Cafe. The food was very good and so was the red,smile. After dinner we went to the "Loft" to see the "Love Crime" it was excellent and we recommend it highly. It is a French movie with subtitles. Lot's of twist and turns that kept us on the edge of our seats. Lot's of eye candy too! Big Smile!

We are going out for breakfast prior to ending out for Sierra Vista. We are going to Gus Balones,one of our favorite places for breakfast. Rosemary will be here to care for Chris while we are away. We will have our laptop with us this trip so we can stay in the know.
