Mood: Relaxed! Mattress Mamboed!
Music listening to: Nasty by Janet Jackson
It's a Monday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise popped up with me this morning. She started her morning exercises and she is going to take a walk in the hood. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and I am without a doubt will have a second cup. It is going to be another hot one here in the Old Pueblo. I have one more continuing education class to complete. I will get that done today. I will be taking the Fiat 500L Trekking in for a service this afternoon. Other than that I have no plans for today, but it is a Monday.
Well, we had a wonderful evening yesterday thanks to Jayne being here early to care for Chris. She is a rare gem that we found here in the valley of Tucson. Chris loves her and so do we.
We enjoyed the "Celebrating the Spectrum" at the "Temple of Music and Art". We enjoyed the sounds Desert Voices, Voices of the Desert, Reveille Men's Chorus, and Reverb. The temple was packed to include the balcony. A fantastic evening of song. We were joined by the "Queen of Keno" Dottie. Also the case manager who hired me at "Pima Health Systems" over 25 years ago was there. It was good to see her again. She is enjoying being retired.
After the show we strolled over to "Hotel Congress" to have dinner at "The Cup". The food was very good. I texted our daughter Kim to let her know that we were at the "Cup". She returned the text to say great but our son-in-law Carlos was not working. He is a chef at the "Cup". We always ask for him when we are there and he comes out see us at our table.
Dottie, ordered a "Queer Steer" and we picked on her while she enjoyed her meal. I had to let Jane know that we were at the "Cup" and about to enjoy slice of lemon pie. The lemon pie there is the best in Tucson. So tart and refreshing. I had to tease Jane because she has been on my behind ever since the NBA Finals began. My "Mojo" was up and running last night for sure and it worked on her. Smile! It got to a point that she called me a (smart ass). Oh yeah I've got my (Mojo) working on her.

After dinner we took a very nice walk through the Barrio. It was a very nice evening with a nice breeze. We walked Dottie to her car and we walked back to ours and we headed home. A fantastic evening of great music, good food, and the friendship of the Queen of Keno.
A DOWNTOWN MURAL |
We will be getting out our suitcases for our trip to Chandler that will take place in a couple of days. Oh, I forgot to mention that the Queen of Keno taunted me about her winnings at the DDC and Casino Del Sol. I admit she is very good at Keno, but she is going down. Ok, Jane go there!
Have a wonderful Monday and stay happy, safe and healthy.
Later.....Jessie and Elise

What an Exquisite picture of that pie...the composition, the backlighting, the texture looks so alive... excellent job! Food is so hard to photograph. Beautiful
Thanks Bobby and it was so good.
