It's A Hump Day!

   It's a Hump Day! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and about soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good this morning. We are going to hit up Gus Balones this morning for breakfast. Bobby will be here this morning and Jayne will be here this afternoon. Jayne will be caring for Chris while we are away.

   We are all packed for our short trip to Chandler and Globe. We will return on Friday. We will pick up JT and George this morning and we will make our way to "Apache Gold Casino and Resort" in Globe. Cha Ching hopefully. I have got to one up Dottie the (Keno Queen.)

   We had a wonderful evening and dinner at "The Cup" in downtown Tucson. We were joined by Jane and Papa John. Our dinner was excellent and so was the Lodi wine. We had contacted our daughter Kim yesterday to see if the lemon pie was available. So she contacted her husband Carlos who is a chef at the Cup. Elise and I knew that the pie would be available but Papa and Jane did not. As we checked in with the hostess for seating she told us that 4 slices of pie had been set aside for us. Elise told Jane and Papa how that came about. The pie was delicious and Papa and Jane were pleased.

   Carlos came out to the kitchen and sat at our table for a bit. It was hugs all around. Papa and Jane thanked Carlos for making sure that the pie was available. It was good to see Carlos he is doing well. We will meet up Kim at the end of the month for breakfast.

   After dinner we strolled over to the "Rialto" to see Gregory Porter" sing. The venue was not packed but what a show he and his group put on. The music was fantastic and the band was jumping. Great show. We bought a CD of his music as we left the "Rialto". A fantastic evening with Papa and Jane. We all were clapping, swaying and getting our groove thang on.

   Well, I had better get a move on. I have to get the Fiat 500 L Trekking loaded and gassed up. Have a wonderful Hump Day. Right Jane? You S@@@Head! Now you have got me saying it, smile! Love you guys!
