How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is still hunting for Javalina this morning and as soon as one has her up a tree she will start her day with a dip in the pool. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good and I am thinking about some Popeye's chicken, yummy! We went to the movies yesterday afternoon and we saw " The Zookeeper" it was good and very funny. We returned home and Elise prepared some BLT's for dinner and we had a few Vodka and Cranberry cocktails to get it down. We also watched a few episodes of "Dexter".

Angelia is here caring for Chris this morning. Pam will be here shortly to give Elise and Chris a massage. We may go to the movies this afternoon to see "Contagion" it looks very good. This evening I know for a fact that we will be watching more of "Dexter"

Well, I will begin to post about our Alaskan Cruise I will start with the very first day of our adventure, and it was an adventure that almost did not happen:

2 Sept 11

We started our vacation on a bad note, yes we did. The caregiver was supposed to arrive at 1:00pm and she did not. She called at 1:30pm saying that she was on her way from a doctor's appointment. At 2:30pm , she still had not shown up, so we called her and she said that she is on her way. Now we started to get very concerned. Elise told me that if she does not show up by 4:00pm that we would call one of the other caregivers. It was now 3:30pm and we called Rosemary. She agreed to drop everything and come over. She told us that she loved us and that she would do all that she could to help.

Rosemary arrived at about 4:50pm and we thanked her and we left for the TownePlace Suites near the airport. We decided that the caregiver that did not show up was never to be used again. We checked into our room and we went to the Desert Diamond Casino for dinner. We had the prime rib special and a glass of red. The food was excellent and used my club card to get a $10.00 discount on the meal. What a deal.

After we finished our dinner we played slots and we won about $30.00. We returned to our hotel and we called it a night because we had to get up early for our flight to Seattle. That is how our first day went, smile!

Well, I will give day two tomorrow. I have over 250 photos to look over that we took. I will insert a few of them them daily and I will try to keep them in order that we took them.
